The food is great but they never have things on the menu like the lamb samosa everytime Ive been there they say they are out of them. Make some more. Thats what youre supposed to do. Its also hard to get service. I waited for someone to sit me (since the sign says wait) and no one did. so then I take a seat at a table and the waiter apologizes. so Im like ok, cool. Then they never gave me a menu. so I got up and got a menu since I felt like I was being ignored after waiting 10 mins for one. After half an hour the waiter finally came back and took my order. I was about to pass out from hunger at this point. So I eat and the food was good. (Only reason I gave them two stars) when I gave him my card to pay I waited for ten minutes for it to come back to me. I had to actually go and ask for it back. The waiter even came back to my table three times with water and just kinda ignored my request for my card back.

Never expected this turn over good to bad experience lately.... This restuarant owner, servers are uneducated They duno how to take a order or they duno to desire to customer needs.Food wise i only sugest chicken tika was nice and lamb biryani, all others dishes were crap... Never ever i will go again, they said they will give curry with rice instead we told them to replace with naan they gave burnt naan on top of that they charged us 5$ !!!! How insane you please go ask them to talk proper english and then order ,ask them explain each dish??? Thanks for reading the review....

Our family was so excited to have Indian food. Workers are friendly there. Unfortunately our quest to find a good tasting east Indian Restaurant did not come to an end. We ordered to go menu Navratan Korma, Saag Paneer/ Spinach and Cheese, Naan Bread and Chana Masala/ Garbanzo Masala. All of the foods except the bread was blended to the point that it looked like baby food. You can barely see the cheese or the Garbanzo beans. Saag Paneer did not taste fresh seamed like it came from a can. Bummer. Hopefully some else will have better luck.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Urban Masala catered 2 events for my wedding this weekend. The team flawlessly executed delivery with warmers, serving spoons, and event help. They delivered on time for all events and had stellar communication. There was no risk of a food shortage in anyway. Most importantly, the food was 100 percent delicious. The best Indian food of Oregon hands down. Now, I can comfortably say, the most reliable and affordable caterer. Thank you so incredibly much. My family is so thankful.

The food had great quality and very good quantity. The servers were very polite and at the end even served free desserts. The desserts had very good quality. The ambiance was decent but the restaurant could decorate it better. The prices were cheaper for what they wanted to offer. The menu is not the biggest but it has plenty of options. I would go to this Indian restaurant over many others in the locality.

This place is lagit! Ive been to so many Indian resturans across the globe including NY and London and this place is tight! This is hands down the best Indian in OREGON. I have buffet (not that watered down slop youll see at most buffets) and dinner here regularly and the quality is consistent. Service is also always superb. The lamb Karhai is a real treat! P.s chicken tikka masala is not real Indian.

Excellent Food! One of the best Indian place in Hillsboro. Their food quality is amazing plus taste is very authentic. I love their Gulab Jamuns (Indian Dessert) and other sweets too. Their lunch buffet has so many amazing options for vegetarian people with lot of sweets. Malai kofta of urban masala is one of my favorite. I would definitely recommend this place for Indian food.

This is our go to place whenever we are in the area and feel like having Indian food. The food is good and the price is reasonable. Its good for both take out and dine in (if you avoid the weekend crowd) but I prefer dine in if I am ordering naan bread. Its hot and delicious. They also serve us complimentary desserts every time which is really sweet (pun intended :P).

Really good food and excellent service. The man who seated us actually pulled out my chair for me. That is a rare and appreciated thing. :-) The food was so good, especially the chili chicken. And the garlic naan was excellent - they brushed it with melted butter! Best naan Ive had. We will be back for sure. They will have a full bar soon, too. :-)

Not sure why this place has got good ratings. The place being deserted - with no other customers - on a weekday should have been a warning. The food was not tasty (as it is supposed to be) and is not worth at all. There are much better options if you are willing to drive two to three miles away (towards Tanasbourne / Bethany).

Like the delicious malai kofta and baigan bartha.. Uncle were so kind and accommodating that they even got us an off menu item on special request. Yummy chilli paneer. Name it and they will make it.. Dinner was followed by yummilicious complementary gulab jamuns .. Totally recommend this restaurant!!

Good IF YOU ARE THERE- NOT TO GO. when they left part of our order out they acted like we were trying to cheat them for coming back for it. Diffucult to go for spice levels with language gap. Love Indian food here.. just sometimes want to take it out without issues.

One of the best Indian restaurant in Hillsboro/Portland area. Food is really good quality. Lunch buffet is also very good. We really liked Lamd/ Mutton and Chicken biriyani. Owner is very friendly. Good for catering as well.

Dishes were tasty but a couple dishes were not fully heated in the microwave. Our naan came out half way thru our meal despite being the only customers. They pay more attention to the takeout customers

Without a doubt, the most succulent and flavorful Indian food Ive had in the continental United States. My wife and I just HAVE to eat here every week. Dont miss it. My credentials? Indian for 29 years.

Pretty small place, but was packed with people. Doesnt feel great to sit so close to others and eat. I got a Biriyani Togo. It was delicious! Isnt as pricy as other overrated Indian restaurant

Great food, decent service. Tried samosa, chicken masala and lamb kebab and satisfied. Samosa had a thin layer that we enjoyed. No unknown parts etc in makhani. Lamb kebab was tasty and juicy.

Good food and good service at a good price. Not the best Indian, but pretty decent for a buffet. Had a reasonable amount of options.
