Went there a few times recently and it was fine, yesterday walked in hot on a wait list to be seated then a few minutes later told the greeter that we will wait in the bar, he asks for my name again I tell him. At the bar girl takes phone call then disappears for at least five minutes comes back with food food to go for a man who was waiting. Walks by us says nothing. Bartender makes a couple drinks for the restaurant, (no one else was at the bar) never talks to us, never asks if we want a drink. Over 15 min goes by she asks if we think we have been forgotten, we say yes because all the people that came after us are seated and we were just contemplating if we should say something but I just got eye contact with the guy who wrote my name down so we didnt. Bartender tells the guy and then a different person comes apologizes and takes us to a table. We are told by a manager (I assume) that we get a free appetizer we order it. It is the fondue, we Waite to order dinner because we dont want it all to come at once. The fondue on the menu says nothing about tomatoes, it has a quarter cup of tomatoes when it arrives. Im allergic and my mate hates them, we tell the waiter and he almost leaves it but then takes it and says we can choose something else, we do, the shrimp it is breaded and deep fried. As the waiter is walking away he says "do you want it spicy?" I say sure. We get it and its covered in a lemon sauce and lemon slices, I am allergic to fruit. My friend says it tastes horrible. We do not eat it. We get our food and the waiter dose not offer parm for our pasta as he did with the other table moments ago. We have been polite, we have been kind, we said nothing about the shrimp. My friends dish is advertised as chicken crusted in parm, it is not it is covered in cheese and sprinkled with a crumb mixture. My spaghetti in Alfredo sauce is so over cooked it will not twist onto my fork it just breaks. Bill comes and the shrimp is on the bill. We tell the waiter it is fixed. He was definitely assuming we would be shity to him so he was anything but pleasant. I tipped him very well just to prove him wrong. Not sure we will ever go back. Was supposed to be our holiday meal together because we will not be spending it together this year....it was a real bummer......

We were seated fast, typical of a Tuesday night-slow. Didnt wait long for the server, but not once did she ask if we wanted a drink. Strike 1. Neither one of us decided to spend more if no one was going to ask regardless of those dumb ziosk machines. While taking our order, we were asked about wanting a soup or salad, and while I ordered soup, boyfriend asked for salad and she leaned in to him while giving him that kind of stare you give someone you suspect is stupid. He said salad. She didnt listen. Strike 2. While the food was good, it wouldve behooved them to hold off on the food order so it wouldve been hot when we got it. Strike 3 is the over abundance of staff standing around by the kitchen laughing and talking so loud I could hear every conversation. I feel there should be a place for those who arent waiting on tables to mill about while not disturbing everyone else who is trying to enjoy a meal. Tldr; ok food, service is kind of unpersonable and junky now with those ziosk machines.

The food usually is great and my family and I leave full and happy. But todays service and food was way below what we come in for. It being busy we waited 30 minutes for a table which we understood and did not mind the wait. But the time it took for our food was sad and it was honestly sloppy and off. Biggest thing that made this visit horrible was the service my grandmother and I got was an absolute low. Waiting for our waitress to take our order was a challenge and then when finally getting our order in it would take no joke 5 to 8 minutes before seeing her to tell her anything else. And then felling less of a person when she is giving excellent and attentive service to the table right next to us. Even after we finished and paid bill we ask for our to go boxes and were ignored by the second time we got them we had enough. It is sad really my family love to go there.

For the first time we ordered food to go, after 30 minutes me & my wife got extremely sick for whole day wouldnt leave bathroom.one week ago my brother in law also ordered food to go and same thing happened to him. I called in to let them know to check there food before giving it to people and make them sick, in response the manager said " Go see a doctor and you will see its not our food" i was just trying to warn them so they wont continue making more people sick. I have been going to olive garden for a while, but from this experience & how they treated the costumer i will never eat at that place again.

I have been there many times and have always left satisfied, but on my last visit I was very disappointed with the food. The service was excellent but the salad, which usually is awesome, didnt have any flavor, it was missing the red onions and was very skimpy on the dressing. The lettuce wasnt fresh either. The bread sticks were bland and tasteless. It seemed like our entrees didnt have the flavor they used to have. Its been 6 or 7 months since I was there last but things in their kitchen just arent the same. I will probably choose some place else to take my family next time

Tonight was the second time I have ordered to go items for pick up and been extremely disappointed.. Not only was the service poor and person serving rude but the breadsticks that came with my soup were completely overcooked and rock hard on the ends... We were not offered cheese to go with the soup nor given a spoon to eat it. We used to enjoy eating at this establishment but times are getting tighter and im not willing to waste my hard earned money on mediocre... Step it up Olive Garden... You charge like high end and serve like McDonalds!

I was recently at Olive Garden with a few colleagues from the clinic and a couple of weeks later we placed a catering order to be picked up. The time we were there the service was Ok. Nothing really that would stand out or what you would a expect from a restaurant like this. Furthermore, for our catering order they were late and I arrived to pick it up no one knew what was going on. We got passed around 3 different servers before someone realized what we were there for. Not to mention the lady standing at the entrance didnt even blink.

We usually try to go to the OG on I-205 and SE Stark as it seems to always offer us good service. This OG in Gresham is a "maybe it will be different this time...what were we thinking coming back?" kind of experience. Last night we waited almost 10 min for a server who was not very attentive, messed up our drink order, and took too long to bring even the water. Food was hot and great but service was what we usually seem to get.
