UPDATE: Do not eat here! My guest got salmonella food poisoning from this place! Origial Review: I am really dissapointed in this Olive Garden. Ive been going to OG since I was a little kid, and Ive visited them from all across the country. They were my favorite resteraunt until tonight. I felt like I was at a Chilis or TGIF or some other incredibly loud, incredibly casual, over priced dump. I loved OG for its class, its intimacy, and its attention to detail. The food used to be savory, sensational, beautiful, and varied in flavor. Now it seems like it is all bland with no real flavor at all. Our appetizer had dry mushrooms with too much cheese and undercooked calamari. The only thing that made them taste good was the ranch. The salad, coffee, and breadsticks were delicious though. Our entrees were mediocre. My pasta had barely enough sauce to cover the noodles, and while the steak was cooked well it had too much fat. Also, it was not what I had ordered--but it was so loud in the resteraunt that I dont blame the waitress for mishearing. The host and waitress were kind, but felt very mechanical... almost unrealistic in a creepy sort of way. The hostess was... interesting, like she might have worked for the dmv in the past. Finally, after listening to some fellas beside us yell across at one another about how awful traffic was and their take on sports we heard one of them fart, very loudly, and not bat and eye. I am so so so very dissapointed in what Olive Garden has become. Goodbye forever my previously favorite and well remembered dining establishment. You have been, for lack of a better term, trashified. ☹️

Me and the wife decided to try Olive Garden again. We ordered the Tour of Italy plate for about $19 each and a bottle of Coppola Cabernet. Lets start with the good...the wine was great. Now the food.....if you like re-heated leftovers at this price, this is your place. Let me make it clear that the service was outstanding and the servers could not have done a better job. When our order was delivered the fellow said to be careful "this plate is so hot it will scald you". I think he meant "burn you". Whatever, the plate was hot. Wish the food was. The chicken Parmigiano was ice cold as was the fettuccini. The "scoop" of Lasagna was warm so we were fairly happy about that until we tasted it. All of the items tasted as if they were loaded with salt. We love salt as well as other spices on our food. If there were any other spice on our food......we missed it. Long story short, this was one of the worst meals I have eaten and I am in my early sixties. The $78 tab didnt bother us and we left a $20 cash tip. The food was not even edible as my wife left most of hers on her plate. On the positive side, the salad was great and the servers were awesome. Great people and lousy food. Maybe we can use that in their commercials? So sorry to write a bad review. Wish I could have written a good one. I have written several reviews for restaurants and they are always positive. Couldnt do it this time. Dont waste your money at this location....sorry.

My husband and I were in last night around 9:30pm and it looked likely had been a long day for everyone. A Saturday night thats pretty typical. When we got there we were greeted right away and sat down. Our server was with us very quickly. His name was Zach and he was an absolute pleasure to be around. He was funny, listened well, and extremely informative about all the menu options. He was the best server Ive ever had in my life. On top if the EXCELLENT service we got from him, our food came quickly as well. We ordered an appetizer, breadsticks & soup, a long with our main meal. Each of them came back to back perfectly. As soon as we were done with one the next was there a minute later. And the food was absolutely incredible. Hot and full of flavor. Hands down the best restraunt experience Ive ever had all thanks to Zach and the amazing people in the kitchen!!! Will defiantly be there again soon.

I visited recently with my daughter home from college and was shocked that our South Hill Olive Gardens food quality has fallen so low. The last time I was here was three years ago. Then the place was overflowing with happy customers eating delicious food. Not now. I looked at the menu and nothing appealed to me. The menu is lacking in anything tasty. I didnt want to disappoint my daughter, her favorite is Italian food, so I ordered something. It came out covered in a weird, smelly, orange sauce. I didnt taste it, it looked that bad. I sent it back and didnt replace it with a new dish. There really wasnt anything else I wanted from that menu. My daughter didnt love it either but she didnt send hers back. I will not be back. Also the staff seemed embarrassed and less than enthused to be serving us the food. I will not return or recommend.

Went there on a Monday night. They were pretty busy but a bunch of people just left when we were walking in. Stood there for about 5 min. until a hostess appeared. She was sitting in the lounge enjoying herself instead of doing her job. She comes up eventually. My mom says a party of 6. she said oh its a 120 minute wait. OK what if you split us up..no still 20 minutes. She seemed clueless so my mom walks in the eating area fit a bunch of open clean tables that can easily fit 6. WThe rest of us are waiting in thee waiting area and she starts gossiping about us. I say exude me I can hear you gossiping and they just ignore me..What kind of place is this? If I wanted pep reply girls talking smack about me and my family I would go back to high school in 5

I have been to Olive Garden in Puyallup many times over the years when I visit my family and find it a great place to eat. The staff and service are all excellent and always make you feel at home and they cater for all the family, bring your children. The food is out of this world and endless bowls of very tasty soup and hot garlic bread fingers are very nice indeed but save room for your main meal as I ended up taking my steak home with me but it was a very nice experience. Parking is ample so dont worry. I will be going there again next year 2015 and that will be my 5th year to eat here so have fun with your family/friends.

Ate at the bar to avoid the wait. Bar was dirty with food particles all over it (gross). Silverware was also dirty with chunks of salad stuck to the forks (double gross). Halfway through the meal we started smelling something that resembled rotten garbage which coincided with them using the bar sink (triple gross). The urinals in the restroom had urine all around on the floor. A staff member also dropped and shattered a glass. Not what one expects when paying $50+ at a well-known restaurant. Giving two stars instead of one because the food was surprisingly halfway decent.

They told us 25 minute wait so we sat at the bar to get a drink only to be completely ignored by the bartender for 20 minutes. He literally looked at us several times and never even offered us a thing all the while helping other guests. We even told him we wanted a drink and he never came over. Appetizer was way under cooked. Never offered cheese on our appetizer. My pasta was cold and our bill was $104! Im very annoyed and disappointed. Weve been coming to this location for years and have had bad service in the past but nothing like last night.
