I used to eat here 3-4 times a week when I lived in Beaverton for over three years. They were just a little hole in the wall with almost no room inside, but I loved the place. I drove across town on my day off just to get the Pad Thai I used to get so often. Everything has changed. They remodeled, no big deal there, but the food and service changed too. Before I was always greeted with friendly smiles and good service. Now they were borderline rude, they ignored me for ages, and when I finally got my Pad Thai it was nearly flavorless. I very politely asked if they had changed anything about the way they cooked it. I said I did not like the dish and they took it away without asking if Id like something else. After being ignored some more, I asked for my check so I could leave. They brought the ticket and then did not come back to pick it up (Even though I had my card out in front of me before my bill got there) and I ended up having to get up and take it to the front myself. They didnt take my uneaten Pad Thai off of my bill! They left the food that I specifically stated I did not want because it didnt taste good on my bill. Not only did they not offer me any sort of resolution (such as a different dish) and ignored me, a long time customer of over four years and they refused to remove the dish from my bill. I went to my bank right after and disputed the amount for the Pad Thai. Not only will they NOT get my money for that dish, they just lost a long time customer over $7.50. Rama Thai, I guess all good things come to an end...

Best Thai restaurant in Washington County, at least! Very authentic food options, and their spicy / very spicy are actually quite spicy, which is rare to find by my standards! I recommend anything off the green Rama Thai specials menus. Heavenly Beef is like a plate full of amazing Thai jerky with a spicy sauce and rice. Spicy avocado is great. The creamy avocado goes really well with the rest of the dish. The crispy pork belly dishes are great. Perfectly crispy pork belly, although that one is terrible as a leftover. It gets soggy fast. Weve always gotten very good service too. They will help you pick something good off the menu, and theyve made vegetable substitutions with no extra charge.

I wouldnt have even thought to give this place a review except for one big reason: their beef jerky. This stuff that I currently have crammed into my mouth is delightfully delicious. Spicy, sweet, chewy, even fresh made! It sticks in my teeth worse than popcorn kernels, but there is absolutely no comparison. Try this stuff. As for their other food, pretty basic thai menu with what youd expect. They do an exceptional job of cooking the noodles/veggies/meats so that it all forms one awesome plate. Highly recommend pretty much any noodle dish they make. Beats most bigger thai places and the people who work here are extremely kind.

My wife and I went here last night. The food and service was amazing. Its family owned, meet the owner and one of his sons. They take a lot of pride in their food. Expect it to be authentic Thai and Lao flavors. I did spend a year in Udorn, Thailand and 6 months of that ate and had an apartment in town. We had chicken pad thai, and I had Lad Na. The servings were plentiful, and if you do not like hot you do need to let them know. The dishes are authentically spicy hot, so do beware not like the other americanized Thai restaurants in the area. We will be back to try other items, like their curry dishes.

We have gone to Rama Thai for lunch and dinner . I must say that the owners , cooks , wait staff are wonderful smiling people and I believe that energy comes through to the food .IMO -- Very reasonably priced for lunch and for my dinner approximately 30 percent more than my lunch . With that said I usually bring dinner leftovers home . You could pay a couple dollars less somewhere else but you may get less also . We are never disappointed and bring our friends and tell others looking for excellent Thai food .

I used to love this place, good flavor, good portions etc. I just ordered lunch to go, Pad Kee Mow, extra spicy, with chicken. Got back to work, hardly any chicken, no spice of flavor what so ever. I gave my lunch to a co-worker who likes everything, and he said it taste like plain boiled noodles. I gave Rama Thai a courtesy call and asked them maybe I picked up the wrong order. They looked it up and said no, thats your order, too bad. Last time I will we going there again

Rama Thai, for the past four years, has been the best place to get Thai food. From sea bass to massamun curry this place is consistently delicious. The prices are extremely affordable, especially if you can get in for lunch. But what is most enjoyable is the friendly service and intimate atmosphere. Eating at Rama Thai is much like going to a good friends house for dinner. Great food and prices that offer all around comfort, Rama Thai is must for any Thai food fanatic.

Ive been here a few times and the food is really tasty! However, just last night I experienced the same crunchy ingredient in my pad thai that Jean did on May 5th. It definitely was NOT a bug, as it was extremely hard like a nut shell or something. Im pretty sure it was a burnt peanut or some sort of unground spice or something. I guess it could be a deal breaker if youre the hyper-sensitive type. Otherwise, great food!

There are several Thai restaurants in the area. There is one in the Beaverton Town central I would describe as not great. There is Thai hi 5 which is low cost and ok. This is the next step up in price but WOW worth it. The fresh ingredients and mouth watering flavors are salivating to even think about. The atmosphere is casual and not extremely cosy, single bathrooms. And OH man the food is SOO good.

The first of all, I ordered an pad sie ew here. It was a great flavor, but it ended up with too salty and sweety noodle. It is a kind of mediocre and the service seems kind, but the waiter is just doing his job to ask the customers about taste. Even though I didnt finish my comments when he asked about the taste of pad sie ew, he already turned around right away after giving a just formal question.

I have eaten at just about every Thai restaurant between Wilsonville and Washington State boarder to Portland Oregon. This place by far is thee BEST place. They do not use CHEAP ingredients for their food. For their salads they use green lettuce, not cheap iceberg. The portions are enough to make Texans jealous and the prices are VERY affordable

Stopped by to grab some curry on my lunch I thought Id give this place a try but wont be returning. The staff was friendly but the food was bad I ordered the yellow curry when I got it curry sauce was spilled all over the bottom of the bag and I had no curry sauce in my actual meal and the food was extremely bland.
