We visited the Wooden show tulip farm, and decided to have the Mt Angel sausage Co. for lunch. Big dissapointment the $6 sausage was tasteless, more like just ground pork made into a look like a dog no spices. Lucky for us they were chared really well so that gave all the flavor (not impressed). We also ordered french fries and for $5 got about the size of a small at a drive thru. They were soggy and limp. So if you really like char, soggy fries and cheap ketchup for $11.00 this is your place. I dont mind paying good money for good food but this was a big bust. Should have skipped the line and kept my money.

I will definitely be back. On this visit I had the Bavarian Burger. That was good, but everything else was excellent. We got the appetizer sampler, with cheese curds instead of the onion rings. Everything was perfectly done, not soggy, with a taste that made us hardly use any ranch dip. My wifes beef stroganoff had spätzle noodles and was quite tasty. The service was good, food came quickly, and the ambience was quite lovely!

Service was friendly but lacking, 7.25 for a skinny sausage on a soggy bun wasnt worth the price. They added my drink on at the wrong price after substituting one brand for another without asking. They did fix it, but still - 2.50 for a bottle of coke I could have bought down the street for a buck? Not really what I was expecting, over hyped, they need to loose the food network sign since its been over 5 years since it aired.

I ordered the beer and brat for $8 dollars. I was not impressed with the service or food. I ordered a second brat and I was charged $18.99!!!!! Again, that was for a beer and two brats that were the same quality as the state fair. I highly recommend going next door to the Bavarian Haus. Their food is superior and the service is vastly better. I grew up in a German family and I know good German food.

I have been to this place a few times. They have a poor beer selection, over priced food for the amount and quality, and employees are not friendly. I probably wont ever go back. However, their sausage is great. I used to buy their frozen sausage quite often (dont currently because, although tasty, is not diet friendly) and have never been disappointed. The knockwurst is the best.

Good service, great food, good atmosphere. I came here for a second time with family and extended family, it had a nice long table for all of us and it had great food. I cant think of a better place to either go with a few friends or a big family. (I suggest the Bangers and Mash which was better than what I had when visiting the UK).

WONDERFUL! We arrived when the place was closing. As we were leaving, the owners insisted we come in. We ordered a family style dinner and were brought extras (great fries plus a red cabbage side dish) we hadnt even ordered. Everything was delicious and we were made to feel very welcome. We will definitely go back.

Food was good ... one of the staff members was rude and told my group of 17 that we had to sit in a spot with no shade we tried to move under the closed umbrellas ( no one was using ) told us we could not do that ... asked her if she wanted us to leave and her response was "ok" other then that the pleace was good

Horrible service and food. Was told to sit anywhere and after sitting was told to move. Food was overpriced and horrible. Only visited because I got a gift card, and with money left on the card after my visit, I cut the card up. Never going back. If you want some GOOD German good go next door to the Drunken German.

I cant speak for the dining experience or the restaurant, but I can speak for the food. I had a bratwurst at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival this year, and it was the most delectable wusrt I have had in many years! The flavor was incredible and the food was served searing hot, cooked up right before our eyes.

If you are looking for a glorified sausage dog, with a small spoon of sauerkraut on top with an expensive mediocre side of German potato salad,and lousy service with a very hefty bill at the end.......than you have come to the right place. So disappointed ..sure wont go there again..

My husband and I both had a bratwurst sandwich special. I had the regular and he had the smoked. Smoked was by far the better choice. We enjoyed the food and beer, however the service was a little slow. We were able to eat outside with our dog, which we really appreciated.

Some of the best German food in the whole of Oregon, come to this little shanty town and get their beer flight (I am a particular fan of their dunkel brew) and eat their wurst. Its well worth the trip to nowhere to get to it, this is how you ESCAPE the tourist traps in Oregon.

we are lucky we didnt starve to death while waiting for the food on 2017 eclipse day. The food itself was great (however, any food would be if you wait for it 1.5 hours). I know, its not a typical day, so feel free to disregard this review.

My wife & I arrived right as it opened at 11am, and there was nobody else, so we had a nice quiet lunch. We both had their schnitzel sandwich, which was quite good. It came with some of the best french fries weve ever had!

This place has an interesting interior dining area and a big outdoor patio for summer dining. The menu has a large selection of house made sausages and sausage burgers. Ive been several times and its always been good.

Ive been here for Oktoberfest before but going to the restaurant was a much nicer ambiance. Staff is very friendly and They have plenty of goodies to choose from in their store also. I will be going back soon.

Poor customer service. Waited an hour and a half for 2 sausages before giving up. We never got any updates about the status of the food order, and we were not told ahead of time to expect such a long wait.

Firehouse number 5. HOT HOT HOT! This place has great food, great atmosphere and great service. They now have added a full service bar and gift shop. Enjoyable even if it isnt Ocktoberfest.

Love this place. Excellent German style dishes and great German beer selection. Lots of outdoor seating with shade from the Sun. The service staff is always friendly and efficient.
