I worked at the honda dealer down the street for 5 years.Working 10 to 18 hours a day, you eat out a lot. When I started in 2001, everyone used to laugh at me because I had to have Thai angel at least 3 times a week. After a year, I had everyone there hooked on it. They even had a picture of me saying how good it was. I actually ate it so much that I gained a lot of weight and my wife wouldnt let me eat it as much. Well, she doesnt have to worry anymore. A little over a year ago, I noticed a change in the people working there. The delivery guy was the same, but most were gone I think. Anyway, last year my wife and I went in for lunch and the food sucked bad. So I asked them what happened to their old chef and they claimed it was the same person. Yea right. So I gave them my card to pay and where we normally pay around 14.00 for lunch they were charging me over 20 dollars. I told them I had been eating there for nearly 7 years and that was ridiculous. The guy told me I didnt tell them I wanted the lunch special and that my bill was over 20 bucks. The idiot threatened to call the police on me if I didnt sign for it.I didnt leave a tip, but there was one added to the charge when I got my CC bill. Every month or so, my wife, hoping that they would get things straightened out, talks me into going back. But guess what, it still sucks. Tonight was the last time Ill go there. Our food literally tasted like it had been prepared earlier and not even warmed up. The taste was bland and the noodles were soggy. Nowhere near the same place as it was a couple of years ago. This is very sad, because that was my favorite restaurant ever! If the previous owners have another place, please let me know where it is!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT!!! I ordered a dish from this restaurant and was delivered the wrong item. When I called to let them know that they gave me the wrong item, they tried to TAKE IT BACK from my house to give it to another household!! I told them that I had already taken a bite from it, and they told me that because I had taken a bite, I could not be refunded or be delivered the correct dish. They completely refused to take responsibility. When I pointed out it was not my fault that the wrong dish was delivered, they said they would bring me the correct dish.. if I returned the one I already took a bite out of... I explained that I felt that was a bit unsanitary, but they were insistent. Since they were not correcting their mistake, I asked for a refund, which they also initially refused. They told me that since they would now have to make a new order for the household whose order I received, that I should not get my money back. I argued with this, and they finally said they would have their delivery person come pick up the partially-eaten rice from my house, and then they would give a refund. At this point, they were still not offering to correct their mistake. I explained that it sounded like a bit of a health code violation, but the conversation ended with their final offer that they would pick up the incorrect order and refund me. A few minutes later, they called me back and said their driver did not have time to pick up the rice, so I could keep it. Completely disgusting and concerning. I will never order from here again! You wont know who else has already eaten from your plate!

We ordered delivery as a first experience with the restaurant. The food was AMAZING! Real vegetables cooked perfectly, quality meat, delicious and savory sauces! The food could have easily passed for home-made! We had the House Special (the shrimp was HUGE), Teriyaki Chicken (the chicken was grilled and uber yummie!), Pork Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Vegetables with Chicken (zucchini, carrots, onions, celery, mushrooms, and more!), and Potstickers. This easily fed our hungry family of five and we still had leftovers. Customer service was excellent, and the delivery driver (maybe the owner/manager?) was super friendly and kind. I wish I could comment on Decor but we ordered delivery (which was free by the way) and ate at home. We will have to visit so I can update my review with comments on their Decor! I am impressed! Keep up the amazing job Kaow Thai!!!!

Worst place ever. Ordered my food and the didnt even deliver everything I ordered. On top of it, the food they decided to actually send me wasnt even the right order and looked like someone had already eaten parts of the chicken. I called them to tell them what happened and they laughed when I complained and told me it was my fault THEY got the order wrong. They also double charged me. First they charged me $48.75 and after I called to complain, they decided to charge me an additional $39.80. Shouldnt have given them that $10 tip.... I called them and they refused to reimburse me for the food they DIDNT even bring me nor the orders they got incorrect. I tried to call again the next and magically their number wasnt working. PLEASE NEVER ORDER FROM HERE

Ordered 4 plates: Pad Thai, Red Curry, Yello Curry, and a order of Sweet Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. Each of the entrees were very generous -proportion wise-, and the curries had a very basic (but good) flavor, which were comprable to higher priced restaurants I have been to in the area. Everything was exceptional at a very decent price. The Mango Sticky Rice was a special highlight, as they served it topped with a creme sauce sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds. The mango was also perfectly ripe, so that helped. Overall, I was very pleased with the variety offered, (the menu was large and diverse), and they also had a smaller seasonal special menu. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and our server was sweet as could be!

When Typhoon ( a local Thai restaurant) went out of business, I went into a depression spiral for several months. The food there was second to none and it was very close to our home. After trying several other Thai restaurants, I finally stumbled upon this hole in the wall hut with outstanding food and folk. This is a mom and pop shop and now our family craves the food they prepare at least once per week. The cost is very reasonable and we have always had positive experiences with the food and the owners. Give it shot! You will be delightfully surprised. Cheers,

Im a tough critic when it comes to Thai food, Ive been eating thai since I was a toddler and can taste the difference between real fresh Thai and American style Thai. This is just that, watered down, American style Thai food. The people are so nice I want to rate this place higher and Ive tried delivery, take out and sitting down multiple times, but the food is consistently bad. Period. The veggies are overcooked and tasteless, peanut sauce is watered down and everything is very fishy. Pad Thai is some of the worst Ive ever had. I dont understand the good reviews.

Just ordered from here for the first time and it definitely wont be my last. The lunch special is a great deal: for 6.95 I got a heaping portion of rice and curry that Im gonna have to finish later, so I got two meals in one! It wasnt very busy so the service was very fast; I called ahead and had my food in hand within 15 minutes. The curry I got is amazing and flavorful, theres really nothing for me to complain about. This is the best thai food Ive had in Beaverton/Hillsboro so far.
