Best happy hour around food-wise wish they would offer additional happy hour beer tap choices. The staff here is always friendly and efficient , the food is excellent. As we dont have young children in our party we always eat in the bar area this is a very busy location and sometimes its hard to get a table happy hour runs from 3 to 6 and its best to be there as early as you can. I do wish they offered outdoor seating for the nicer days. The parking lot is large and easy access , although the parking Stalls closer to the restaurant seem to be smaller and much too close to avoid getting door dings. The bathrooms are always clean as well as the restaurant itself. They also offer Self Serve chips and salsa in the bar area and their salsa is the best !

The manager was totally disrespectful to a military man who had came home and it was his birthday also. One of his relatives asked the manager if he could do anything for him, the manager got an attitude and walked away and came back to the table and slammed down a flan dessert, which he didnt even want. Didnt give him a discount on his meal or even give him a free meal. When you look around on the internet all these Mexican restaurant are giving military men and women free meals, this was just pure disrespectful to the military of our country. I will never eat here again.

When we first walked it the hostess greeted us with a smile and seated us immediately. The waiter was friendly and very quick. My husband ordered the chimichanga and said it was perfect altho my taco salad wasnt ideal. The beef hadnt been drained enough and kinda made the meat and beans soupy. I ate what I could and explained my complaint to the waiter who brought over his manager who apologised. They were understanding and very polite and removed it from our bill. I feel bad for being THAT person and I really did enjoy our experience and will be going there again!

This place is amazing! The service and food both get 5 stars. Our server Veronica was so helpful with working around my dairy allergy and ensuring I still had a great experience. She was also very knowledgeable about the food and was able to answer the many questions my partner had as well. The food is delicious and served in large, family size portions. Definitely try their shrimp and leave some room for deep fried ice cream because its huge! My partner couldnt even eat it all. Overall we love this place and will definitely make it a habit to come often.

Quite possibly some of the worst service weve ever had. My "medium rare" carne asada came out like beef jerky. The food wasnt great, but what was worse was that we had the sweatiest, most forgetful waiter ever. I can only suspect that he was on drugs, because his behavior was peculiar to say the least. Kind of concerning, especially when you have children with you. No one came close to finishing their food, and we could leave quickly enough. Its too bad, because we loved the one in Lakewood. Skip this one, and go to Mazatlan on meridian.

My Dad and I stopped in there for dinner after looking at houses. We were seated quickly. Salsa was probably mild to medium. There was a slight language barrier with our waitress and she mistakenly though I said 1 beef and 1 bean burrito. Not a huge deal. The flavor was pretty good although the portions could be a little bigger. It would probably be 5 stars had I gotten both burritos with beef, but I will certainly be back to give it another shot.

Very clean restaurant with absolutely fabulous food and large portions it will obviously be my first choice for Mexican food anytime I go out to eat. The employees are always friendly and the 38 year old manager stopped and carried a conversation which was extremely impressive. Employees seemed happy and friendly even on an extremely busy night. Their chips and salsa is great. We cant wait to go again very soon

Food is excellent. Prices okay. Staff is friendly. However, they could really use a good cleaning crew. There are mirrors everywhere. Which would look very nice. But they look as if they havent been cleaned in a very long time. That always leaves me thinking if it looks like this. Out here, where they seat the diners....wonder what it looks like in back..... Its a little scary.

Regular dish food was tough and chewy, i had a tamale and chile rellãno. Husband had a enchilada and burrito and he said only difference was Tortillas, insides were exactly the same, daughter had a super cheese filled quesadilla that was difficult, the rice was a bit oily and the beans lacked a bit of flavor, my tamale was moist but not a lot of flavor.

Jose thank you for your hospitality and Lisa youre a great server, you took our party with ease and made wonderful food suggestions for example an app platter with jalapenos for the kids. Fantastic happy hour! $5 decent margaritas and insanely good $1 burritos and enchiladas. What!? So good, and they have happy hour seven days a week. Bartender always reminds us to order another round before happy hour ends. Love it. Their regular dinner is excellent, too, with huuuuge portions and free chips and salsa at dinner or happy hour.

Went in there last night about 8pm, it was not busy at all and no one was in front of us. We sat for about 10 minutes as the hostess just ignored us, 3 or 4 waiters and waitresses came in to looked at us and just walked away. Went over to Mazatla on pac ave, we were seated and the food was great, definitely recommend Mazatlan.

It was packed and usually is so expect to wait a while to be seated. Food was ok and overpriced. Waitress was friendly with my husband and rude to me(didnt realize I speak Spanish). By bed time I was hugging the toilet with food poisoning! Think she might have added a little "something" to my plate. Worst experience EVER!

Very good service even though they were very busy. Enjoyed a wonderful meal( Camarones Ala de crema )my mom & i shared ...the portion was plentiful!, homemade white sauce & extra fresh tortilla shells the waiter even took the time to tell us how we could make it at home! Well be back for sure!

Im so excited to finally find a sit down Mexican Restaurant that has street tacos! Tonight, being a Saturday, it was completely packed. Yet we seriously only waited about 10 minutes for our food. I was shocked! And the horchatta is delicious!!

Called for reservation for eight people at seven. . Said they dont take reservation but they werent busy. Come on in. We did. One hour wait. What a crock. I wouldnt trust what they say. Three eldery people with us. Never again

I felt like there was a much longer wait than needed to be seated and to have our orders taken and for the food to arrive although the person who served as was very friendly and the food was good I just wished it was quicker

Stopped here on recommendation from a friend. Got chicken street tacos, they were quite good. Also loved the green and red salsa that came with the complementary chips. Best Mexican Ive found in Puyallup so far.
