Food was very good, portions were not. Paid extra to make the meal deluxe, what this means to them is for a scant teaspoon of sour cream and almost a tablespoon of guacamole. The two enchiladas were the size of one anywhere else. I cant eat beans, so where most places will add extra rice, here they just spread the small serving out to cover the plate, as if with a butter knife. First time I can remember leaving a Mexican restaurant hungry. As for service, thank goodness for the busboy. He was the only one to check on us once the plates were set in front of us. The waiter kept us waiting to order, never smiled, didnt say thank you or your welcome, didnt check to see how our meal was going or if we needed anything. The two peppermints with the check was the only gesture to hint we were welcome. What happens when they get busy?

Food and service were horrible. I ordered the menudo and it comes with hominy. Tgats not the original way of preparing the soup so I was thrown off, also it have big bones which was inedible. The tripe was so over cooked it was mushy. Completely disgusting. I was very very disappointed. We also ordered the nachos and the beef tasted like it came out of a can. It was so misleading and gross that my nephew didnt even eat two bites. Im very disappointed in the service as well. The waiter had an immediate attitude with us. I also ordered the horchata drink and its NOT authentic.

I love Hispanic food. The wait was a little long and by The time we are able to eat we were drunk and full from chips. I witness improper handling of the drinks and felt a little concerned when they made same drink for my friend And I but each had different taste. When i mentioned it they just put more alcohol instead of making a new drink. Very disappointed. As I learn about food safety in my new career I may give them a second chance or not.

Weve been going here for years. The service is usually fast and friendly and weve never had a meal we didnt like. They get the chips to you fast and they come with two types of salsa--my husband likes the red, my son likes the green, and I like to mix them together. They also keep the water glasses filled. KIds are welcome and prices are very reasonable.

The hostess staff was friendly and we were able to get a table right away on a Friday night. Service wasnt bad and the portion size was good but we found the food to be bland and underseasoned. The margarita had almost no liquor in it and was almost sickenly sweet. For the price, I would not say we will return.

Great service, yummy food, and fun things to look at one the wall make it an entertaining environment. Recently tried the Coconut Margarita and it was amazing! Such creamy deliciousness! And I have a problem with their queso...Im an addict and I admit it (thats the first step, right?).

Waitress is just not attentive, and the food no go! Ordered medium rare carne asada and it was so overlooked. No bueno! This is a Mexican restaurant! The food should be amazing. 20 min to get a bud light. Oh but it did get better as the night progressed and the karaoke was fabulous.

Weve been coming here for years. Not my favorite, but the family likes it well enough. Always good service and good food. Its not completely authentic, its Americanized Mexican food. If you go you wont be disappointed but you wont be dazzled either.

I usually go to El Toro for lunch. I love that they are so fast. I also think they are very quick to provide water and chips and salsa. The food is very good, atmosphere is great and the waitstaff is very friendly (sometimes will even be funny).

The food and drinks very good. My issue was my coat was stolen after being told they would lock it In the office. It was gone when I had a friend go to retrieve it. I got no response from their website and no satisfaction from the manager.

A nice wait staff could not elevate the pricey, very salty American- style Mexican food. $12 for a mushy chimichanga with rice and beans that have been sitting far too long. Decent bar if you just need a drink and chips.

I had a chicken chimichanga it was delicious. I had an enjoyable experience I was starving. Tressa (server) was great/ very attentive. Bartender Francisco made excellent cocktails. Both were very knowledgeable/friendly.

Seated right away. Received chips & salsa quickly. Then waited almost 10 minutes for the server to greet us. Only 2 other tables in the entire place, so not sure what he was doing all that time. Food was just ok.

This is one of our favorite places to eat and this restaurant is very family friendly and they have childrens menus and offer coloring crayons to keep the children occupied while waiting for your food to arrive.

This place is an old family favorite for Mexican Cuisine. Theyre green salsa is the best Ive had anywhere and ruins any store-bought salsa verde for me. Fortunately theyll sell it to you to-go.
