I only heard great reviews of this place.... When I saw the 1 star reviews I took it with a grain of salt. I dont judge places without having been there myself. Went tonight with my husband and was very disappointed. Everything seemed overpriced. The portion sizes were so small. We ordered the bulgogi entree, spicy pork entree, and the yakisoba noodles. Banchan were kimchi, pickled radish, and cucumber and burdock roots. The waiter didnt put in my order for the bulgogi so when he brought out the noodles and the pork, I asked and he said he honestly didnt hear me say it. Honest mistake, so he put in the order for me and I got it maybe 5-10 minutes later. Firstly, the pork and bulgogi tasted okay. Banchan on the other hand.... There was only little slivers of each one.... One biters pretty much. Had a weird taste to the kimchi when I asked for the 2nd round of banchan. Kind of sour and tasted spoiled. Yes I know kimchi is fermented but there is a difference between spoiled and fermented. Yakisoba noodles, had a weird sour taste to it. Made my stomach upset afterwards. Both of our rices had the hard crust in our rice, it wasnt even filled to the top. My husband asked for a 2nd serving of rice but they were out of rice? o.0 It was 2 dollars for an extra bowl of rice by the way and it was gonna take 15 minutes for new rice to be made. Probably the reason why our rice was hard cause it was the hard leftover rice at the bottom of the pot. Those 3 entrees costed over $40 not including tip. We left hungry and packed our little meat to take home to make a pot of rice to eat with the meat that we had. I wont be back to this place again. Its overly priced and the food portion is way too small. Save your money for the buffet 2 doors down.. For $40 I could pay for 4 adult buffets and leave feeling satisfied. If you want "authentic" korean food, save your money for Korean Garden and Seoul Bistro! For $40, you would be stuffed and have leftovers because the portion sizes are so big!

I love coming to this restaurant every time I go to Tulsa. A lot of people dont understand that sushi is an art form and you CANT RUSH ART. Lol They do have a half price sushi deal (They did the last time I went) I cant remember the hours but its a good deal if you like house sushi which is basic sushi and to me its kind of boring thats not to say the restaurant is boring, House rolls at any sushi place are boring its the specialty rolls that really make your eyes wide the restaurant is fun and inventive their specialty rolls are very fun especially the flaming volcano. My favorite non sushi item will probably be the bibimbap or bulgogi its always a tough choice when I get to the restaurant lol .Theyre very good catering to vegans or people with allergies and they dont make a fuss they try their best to satisfy every single customers needs that come in. If youre curious about Korean food I would try this place.

Its always nice to find a decent place to eat, everything seemed freshly prepared and cooked, but its a tad bit more than what Im used to paying for Korean food. The freshness and flavor of the food was mostly excellent. My wife ordered a Bento Box with Bulgogi, the kids devoured their crispy Gyoza and delicious Yakisoba. I definitely stole more than a few bites (Dada tax!). The only miss among many hits was the Kalbi, overcooked and tough, which was a shame because it tasted great. I think there were two people running the whole place while we were, on a Thursday night, but there were only 3 tables with customers so we had no issues with service. This place seems like a Mom n Pop shop, so going in expecting a chain restaurant experience with service will leave you wanting, but if you dont mind waiting a little bit and a more personal conversation with the staff than usual, the food is legit.

Okay, brutally honest review. Seoul Bistro and Korean Garden put this place to shame. First off, 28 dollars for Gimbap and 1 order of Beef Bulgogi?!?! Way too expensive for such tiny portions, overcooked mildly flavorless Bulgogi and the Gimbap.... lol. Every roll is broken open and not very good. Their rice is regular cheap nasty unwashed long grain white rice you can pick up at Wal-Mart. Rice is a MAJOR part of the "Authentic" experience. Invest in some real Korean rice, wash it, soak it overnight and buy a damn pressure steamer to cook it in. This is the kind of rice you cant even pick up with chopsticks and barely with a fork. Seriously, Seoul Bistro or Korean Garden are the only places to go. And much cheaper. Until you fix the previously desrcibed problems, myself along with everyone I can manage to discuss this experience with will not be back.

Not the best experience. First time here for a friends birthday. We had called for reservation for the sit down seats of 7. The person that answered was not very professional and very silent on the phone. I dont think they knew what they were doing. Showed up and said that we werent reserved for the spot. Ill say the atmosphere was nice but poor service. It was slow. We got there for a while then two group of people showed up and had recieved all their food before us. Sad thing is, the birthday girl got her food last. We literally waited over 45 minutes just to get everyones food. Food: Sushi was drenched with sauce. Couldnt tell the taste with the overpowering sauce. Side dishes was very little for a group of 7. Quite a small portion for its pay worth for an entree. Overall, not going there again.

While the food was good.... The service was awful, our waitress was dressed in appropriately to begin with and after ten seconds of being at the table she asked my wife if we were ready to order when I had not sat down yet! After a mistake on my wifes part of ordering (however she did say it correctly to her) she shoved the ticket in her face to point out how wrong my wife was and how right she was...She left half of our order in the kitchen...There was only two other tables that were occupied, so its not like they were too busy and forgot the other half. We paid with our debit card and once it posted to our checking I learned that the waitress added her tip on there increasing our final bill... so not only do they have horrible service they are thieves!

Good food. Nice atmosphere. Excellent service. Reasonable pricing. 1 major problem however, Ive eaten there twice, and both times my credit card was overcharged approximately $20 after leaving the restaurant and signing the ticket for the correct amount and leaving a 20%+ cash tip for the exceptional service. Somehow once the charge has gone through visa on both occassions, there was an additional $23 and $18 respectively added to the authorized amount. Ok, anyone can make a mistake once, but twice in a row 2 months apart? I suspect, as does the bank, that someone there is inflating/changing the amount after the customers leave, then pocketing the difference. Be aware to pay with cash until the problem/culprit is discovered.
