We love this place. We came here once before when it was under different management, and we didnt make it back for another couple years. After our second trip and a much better experience, we now try to make it here every other month. Theres usually only one chef and one waiter or waitress at a time, so if the place is busy, there will be a wait. But we are very relaxed diners and usually spend a couple of hours at a place when we go out to eat, its a treat, might as well take your time. I love the banchan and they always switch them up, so its never boring. If you like spicy, definitely try the yukgaejang and the kimchi-jigae. If you like more mild tastes, the dduk mandu guk, galbitang and kkori gomtang are really great, especially during the winter! The kkori gomtang (oxtail soup) is my absolute favorite soup, so that would be my top recommendation. Omaha has some surprisingly good Korean options, and this is our favorite for the time being.

Its a rinky-dink little place with excellent food and great staff. It really Id a strange-looking restaurant, hidden away in a strip mall. But the food is amazing. I recommend the beef bulgolgi (best if you do single orders) and stay to eat. Korean cuisine includes several cold dishes as sides to the meal. This place changes them up quite frequently, but expect some marinated potatoes, fried tofu (my favorite), kimchi, and bean sprouts. The staff is sweet, and you can get refills of your rice or the sides you like throughout your meal. Theyll even substitute a side if you try it and hate it, which is my experience with soybean sprouts. This place is mid-range in price; dont expect a fantastic deal. You get what you pay for, around $17 a person. Not a place to go to everyday, but its well worth the price if you want to treat yourself. I highly recommend this place.

I have been visiting this Korean restaurant since I initially moved to Omaha 3 years ago. I enjoy the atmosphere since it reminds me of being in Korea, though with chairs and no large window looking out to the street. The wait staff is always friendly and you frequently see the owner come out of the kitchen to say hi and ensure the food is tasty. They serve Soju (Chamisul Original), beer (Tsingtao, Sappora, Coors, & Bud), Sake hot and cold (mmm.. cant remember the brand), and Wine (havent had any because Soju and Sake). I like the Kimbap and the Bulgogi. They make a tasty Spicy Squid too. I have on occasion had the Sam Gyup Sal and can recommend that also. I also understand that they have Karaoke nights, but have not attended. So over all a great place to get some food and drink, possibly make funny noises at other people.

I really enjoy the folks that run this restaurant, they are very appreciative that you have given their restaurant a try. I love coming here for dinner because the entrees are amazing, but if you have never tried Korean then giver their lunch a try because its buffet style and you can try some of everything on the menu. My favorite dish is the beef bolgogi which I think is the best in town. Ive also tried the squid, octopus, and chicken versions. Theyre all good but I prefer the beef. Give an appetizer or two a try also!

I was recommended to try korean king by a coworker. I moved to omaha from houston tx where we had plenty of good korean resturants. This place is the first korean resturant ive tried so far. The food was pretty good, they even have a lunch buffet where you can try everything if youre new to korean food. The service doesnt win any awards but not much to complain about either. Hopefully my korean food hunt in omaha only gets better from here

Had a groupon that we forgot about. Was about 1 week expired. When I asked if we could still use it, we were told no. Then I asked if we could just get the face value of it (which as I understand, is the law). Again, they just kept saying "no, we cannot honor it." So, we left. Never ate there and never will. Cheapskates. By the way, weve been to other restaurants that have been more than accommodating with expired groupons.

I went with a group of friends and we had the Korean grill and the Bi Bim Bap and they were both delicious and served plenty of food. The waitress was nice and the restaurant was clean. The meal was served with side dishes that we mixed in both meals. The Kimchi and fish cake was amazing. I liked it so back I went back the next weekend for some more!

Our food was good but our whole experience was ruined by the employee because she calculated our total wrong and told us that WE paid less than the "total" and was completely rude about it. She got mad and asked "Why no tip?" because I didnt tip her after she cheated us for our money. Never coming back again.

Some of the best Korean food around. May not have as much variety as in Asia but the food definitely taste great. We love the place and love all the little side dishes they serve. Even with the change of ownership a little while back, everything is still the same if not better. Highly recommended.

Had a great experience here. I love korean food and the stuff here was great! The kimchi was perfect and the meal was cooked and prepared beatifully. The staff was very pleasant and I would definitely come back. The meal is a little pricey but one hundred percent worth it! Five Stars.

This is one of the best Korean restaurants in the area. Ive tried several others, but keep going back to this one because of the food, service and atmosphere. Nothing will ever top my moms cooking, but this one comes in pretty close!

Its a great place to eat, my wife and I try to make it here once or twice a month. I personally tend to stick with either the Galbi or Beef Bulgogi, but Im sure the other selections are good as well.

Drove from Elkhorn to try this restaurant for the first time. Hours posted here are not reflective of actual hours. They close from 2:30 to 4:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays. Very disappointing.

I love this restaurant. From my practical, down-to-earth perspective the food at Korea King is delicious, the service is excellent and friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable.

Great authentic Korean food!! Only a single chef (she is also the owner) so make sure you have enough time to wait, it can take a while if many customers are there.
