I can not believe the poor food and service at this place and that ppl eat there. I was confinced into going once more to try the breakfast, had to wait 15 min to be asked what I wanted, then it was not would you like to see a menu, it was just are you here for the special. How do you want your eggs, what kind of toast and bacon or sausage. My table was clearly not clean but the waitress seemed to have no problem with that, my food was served as I myself was wiping off my table but the server never did a thing except avoid any verbal contact and put food on table. No one ever came back to my table to refresh my drink and finally had to go to register to pay after waiting 10 min after finishing a mediocre meal only to find out the price went up to 2.99 needless to say they have lost yet another customer.

Took the grandkids there this evening for dessert. They offer a little area of about 6-8 tables where you can sit outside to eat, so we pulled in. It was my first time there, and it was terrific. Many different and delicious pies to choose from including buckeye, cherry, apple, pecan choc chip, pecan, french silk (very light choc cream pie!), and a couple others I dont remember. For 5 desserts, most with ala mode, the check was under $16! Yummy pie and yummy price. Cant wait to return for one of the dinner specials too. Noticed someone being served an enchilada and it was huge! Full breakfast starts at $1.99...so Ill definitely give that a try too. The service was small-town-friendly and helpful. A totally great decision to stop at Westerville Grill...cant wait to go back.

I cannot sing the praises of this little gem of a diner enough to do it justice here on the internet. My family and I stopped by here on the recommendation of our realtor and we were blown away. Everyone ordered something different to share and everything was out of this world amazing. The country fried steak was the best I have ever had. The hot dogs must have weighed half a pound, and the meatloaf sandwich was unlike any other I have ever tried. But above all else, their macaroni and cheese exploded my taste buds. It was probably the best I have ever had ever. We cannot wait to go back.

Really disappointed. My family and I visited last week and I ordered the meatloaf dinner; absolutely disgusting. Everything was lukewarm or cold, the "mashed potatoes" on top tasted like a baked potato that they skinned and smashed with a back of a spoon, and I was cutting, Cutting the macaroni and cheese. My son got the chicken tenders which were so burnt and dry that I took one bite and promised him a happy meal down the street. Our waitress didnt seem to get the hint either when we said we wouldnt be needing a box. This place used to be really good and I dont know what happened.

I am somewhat of a diner aficionado, and it is sad how hard it is these days to find a place that can properly fry, roast, and bake classic american food at low prices. This place gets it right. If its on their menu, they will cook it properly. If you have a special order (like my preference for overcooked potatoes), they will accommodate. The staff is top notch. I usually come in on weekdays and service is prompt. Weekends seem busy, but the wait is never more than average for a restaurant. One of the top 3 diners in Greater Columbus. Five stars.

Ordered the turkey club sandwich with a side of fries, it was all terrible. The 3 pieces of bread on my sandwich were all burnt, and the fries were undercooked. They were like noodles. Had no crunch to them. Service was okay. Waiter didnt seem real thrilled. My date ordered chicken with potatoes and gravy and he only liked the potatoes. Chicken didnt have much flavor even being covered in some type of cheese and some spices. Decor was nice.

While on a Saturday morning drive, my sister, nephew and I found this place. And none too soon! :-) Hungar was a calling!! Anyhoo, friendly folk, nice atmosphere, tasty food! I had the corned beef hash and eggs, sis had the chorizo hash and eggs, nephew of course had a burger and onion rings. Tasty food great price. Give the Westerville Grill a try.

Driving around when night looking for a family-friendly place to eat we stumbled upon this restaurant. The veggie burger, well not homemade, was really tasty. My husband had the meatloaf and he said it was amazing. My kid had one of the meals off the kids menu and really enjoyed hers as well. I put this on my list of places to go back to.

This mom and pop shop is the antithesis of good home cooked meals and knowledgeable, quality service. Big portions allow both quality and quantity. I remember asking the waitress about multiple menu items. She described each item without hesitation and even suggested an item. My wife and I love this spot.

Wonderful diner. The food is always amazing and there is a great selection of cheap beers. I personally love the breakfast menu. The corned beef hash is from scratch and the tofu scramble is my favorite. Pies are locally made by Just Pies. I cannot compliment this local diner in Uptown enough.

Gotta go local. I trave a lot and make it a point to experience the locals. No better place then the local diner. Sat at the counter and was treated like everyone else, except they were all on a first name basis. Service and food were on point, correctly made, and really tasty.

Great home cooked style meals! Atmosphere is great, servers are an A+! Only reason not a 5 star (close!) Is its a small dining area except in good weather when the outside is open. And the prices are about 20% more than comparable places. Must get the corned beef hash though!

Food really wasnt that great. Fries were burnt, food has no taste, and they act like they dont care about how it turns out. Worst $28 spent. I dont feel bad for not tipping the server either.

Four stars. They know how to handle a busy Saturday morning to keep waiting to a minimum. My server took great care of me! The food was good, but not great - although I did like the coffee.

Great, local comfort food place. Good selection, lots of homemade creations. Beef stroganoff is an example of a special item offered on certain days during colder months - its excellent!
