My 1st time visiting Grosse Pointe from New York- we pulled into town looking for an unassuming deli or diner to grab some lunch. I order a Turkey Club almost every time I go out for lunch at a new diner- so Ive eaten my fair share. HONESTLY, they served the best Turkey Club Ive ever eaten- hands down. It is apparent that they slice their own meat from a fresh bird, and the quality of bacon was unexpectedly great too. Huge, thick slices of fresh juicy Turkey really make the club, and for ~$7 you cant beat the price. Our decidedly buxom server, Monica, was delightful too and the Americana-themed decoration was disarming and pleasant. Would recommend it based on this one experience.

Although the tossed salad looked like someone picked normally unused iceberg core lettuce out of the garbage (light green, not many LEAFY pieces) and decided to add two tiny grape tomatoes for good measure as if to hide the simplicity of the salad, overall we had a wonderful experience. My girlfriend noted it was the best shrimp alfredo she had ever had and my chicken parm was cooked perfectly and I was given a more than ample serving of spaghetti to accompany my meal. The staff were all extremely friendly. They also have outdoor seating as well if you prefer to enjoy a cool evening breeze. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Mack Avenue Diner features several must-try items. For the French Toast lover, select the Challah French Toast - a melt in your mouth homemade egg bread served with real butter and maple syrup. The omelette lover should try either the signature Mack or the kielbasa omelette. The Mack combines fresh vegetables with a distinctive and flavorful salami. The chef grills Macks kielbasa to a perfect doneness and locks in a smokey flavor. Get to Macks for an excellent breakfast experience.

Terrible service, we waited over a hour to be seated, another family came in behind us as were seated before us with the same amount of people. Totally unacceptable our money spends just like theirs. I will never be back and I will let others know of my experience. My children left hungry and crying because of the unfair acts of the OWNER. I will be reporting this to every food and business I know. Racism is still alive...

Sign said they closed at 10 Im here at 9:02 waiting outside looking stupid and hungry forced to take my business elsewhere smh and i dont even live near this one this is just the 1 i like to eat at shame Chicken Shack yall could have took my order now Im less likely to drive outta my way out here again. If you plan on closing before 10 you should change the door signs its misleading

Its been a while since weve been here! I dont know about you, but we get stuck in going to the same ol places every time, so we thought wed give this a go. Their menu goes on for days (ask for the breakfast menu) and it was tough to narrow it down, but I decided to go with the chicken stir fry. It was delicious and HUGE and I had enough left over for lunch the next day. Well be back!

The food is delicious and the waitresses; Sherri, Monica and Sue are nice, friendly and efficient. I will be coming back here, not one bad thing to say about Mack Avenue Diner. Their new roasted vegetable pannini is delicious along with their pumpkin pancakes. You definitely should come here for breakfast lunch and dinner!!

This place is close and convenient for our family to frequent. Great service, great food. Without fail. Some of my favorites- Spinach Salmon Salad, fluffy egg white farmers omelette, egg and avocado breakfast sandwich. Their menu is deep. You should come here.

My wife and I just ate here for the first time. Service was crisp and prompt. Waitress answered all our questions (given we had never ate here before). Great location and price! Nice cozy and quaint atmosphere. Will definitely eat here again.

A favorite of the kids after soccer games, the service is fast, the malts are great, and the food is great diner food. Highly recommended for family dinners where you just want some great american cuisine in a very casual atmosphere.

Very nice place, the wait isnt so bad. The food was great and fresh. I enjoyed an omelet which was to die for. Eggs were light and fluffy, while my omelet was meaty and cheesy, not greasy...just how I like it.
