I love this place. My family and I come here very often. The waitresses are always very nice helpful and pleasant. Today 2/2/17 was a very different story. They have an African American pregnant waitress working and her attitude is very unpleasant she got my order wrong then tried to argue with me over the food Im to pay for. I didnt engage and instead asked for a different waitress. In turn was very pleasant. I will continue on coming but I know now to turn down service from that particular waitress. Shame because Im a great tipper!

The prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and helpful. When I call in an order and I dont have a menu, they help me with my order.And its close to home. Not all Coney Islands are created equal. Detroit Diner is one of the better ones.

Overall nice place and good service except The server with the tattoos will not take my order and avoids me Everytime... I had to take my plate to the front to get a carry-out container. One person wont dont represent the place.
