Good food, but the prices are a little high, especially for the BYOB. $6.99 for the patty and bun? Whoah. $1.99 for bacon, $1.00 for cheese. Want jalapenos? Thats another $1.00. Sauteed mushrooms? Another $1.00 yet. Youre at $12 right there. The same burger at Five Guys is $7-and-change and they dont charge extra for the jalapenos and mushrooms. God forbid if I want to add a fried egg! Now were up to $14! Youre way past Chilis and Red Robin prices at this point....for a diner burger. Ridiculous.

My wife, friends and I had a ball here! Food was fast and excellent. Staff was helpful and fun. The cake... Delicious! And the meter dude came to the window to warn patrons that he was making rounds in the parking lot, better go check your meter! Exactly! Im thinking "what town is this and what happened to the real Grosse Pointe?" Great job Side Street Diner! Best diner ever. 10 stars on a 5 star scale.

One waitres here that is super nice and has a great personality. Amazing atmosphere and the food is great. Its like a more rural Panera bread, but in my opinion the side street diner is better

Lovely little place! Definitely returning to Sidestreet Diner. The food is delicious, and the staff are all extremely pleasant. I also love that it has outside seating!
