The ice cream was great. But at first glance the store seemed closed. There wasnt any staff that we could see at the counter or anywhere inside. The lights were on and it was about 3:00p in the day. We cautiously pushed the door opened and the young staff started filing out of a back room. When I said to one of the workers we thought the store was closed she said, "the open sign was on". Their customer service was not good. Ive come to that location before. I dont like that particular Honey Hut because of the staff. I usually go to the one on State Rd. which is great. At that location the staff is wonderful and the ice cream is great.

Brought friends in from out of town. Found broken plastic in ice cream. Called to speak to mgr/owner told not there regularly. Rep that answered the phone was rude. Was offered refund if we drove all the way back. Informed them we werent concerned about a refund we just wanted to let them know so that nobody chokes on it if continued to be served. Awful customer service. Was my favorite ice cream place in Cleveland- no longer all d/t the awful customer service.

Decent, but not great ice cream. Good level of sweetness. Not creamy enough. The chocolate flavors have very little chocolate flavor. The chocolate chips are small and bland tasting. The Honey Pecan and fruit flavors are slightly better. The interior is clean and bright. There is comfortable seating and a clean bathroom. Decent and inexpensive, but unnecessary when East Coast Custard, Mitchells, and Handels all have better ice cream.

Hours posted as of 6/1/2014: M-Tr noon - 9pm; Fr-Sa noon - 10pm; Su noon - 8pm. Good icecream, clean place, plenty of seats, and a bathroom! (All important when you have little kids.)

Im lactose intolerant but this ice cream does NOT bother my stomach. It is soooooooo good!!!!! If I didnt need to lose weight, I could eat it everyday. So maybe only once a week. LOL!@@

Nice place. They offer youre basic flavors with a couple specialities plus shakes, sundaes and malts. They are a little off the beaten path, but a nice place to go with friends.

Great ice cream, the honey pecan is a winner. Theres just ice cream here, no food or pop etc. A few small tables inside, some benches and picnic tables outside.
