Im so glad we gave this place a shot. They serve Maple View ice cream just like Fresh Local does, but the atmosphere and service is much better. Theres little indoor setting, but its a nice cozy spot if not too crowded. The decor is very clean and nice. The ice cream is really delicious and plenty of flavors to choose from. They also have sundae creations which Im looking forward to trying next time. I got the devils delight which is chocolate ice cream with Twix and Kit Kat. I thought it would be too rich but the chocolate ice cream was more on the milky side and tasted great! Check out all the comments about how great the staff is. They arent kidding. They were super helpful and super friendly. It seemed like a father and son working together when we went. Not sure who else works there. These two were both super courteous and you could tell they really appreciated our business. Well definitely be coming back in the near future.

The people were very nice, so it pains me to write a negative review, but the product felt very lacking. Perhaps Ive been spoiled with Maple View, Sugerland, Turkish Delights, and Goodberrys, but I found the ice cream dull and generic here in comparison. There was no personality to it. Might as well go to Harris Teeter and get a tub of the same thing for $5. Id love to see great ice cream return to downtown Raleigh. Ever since Turkish Delights closed theres been a brownie-sundae sized hole in my heart. I know its early days... hopefully these folks will add some personality to their inventory. Id strongly recommend investing in better fudge. $0.02

We got there at 5:59 on a Sunday and they opened back up so our birthday boy could get a milkshake as we were passing through town. They were so kind and patient and the shake was delicious! I would recommend that anybody stop by. We had a wonderful experience.

Awesome little boutique ice cream shop in downtown Raleigh. Usually visit here after dinner out. Lots of regular flavors as well as some unusual ones. Ice cream is local so gotta love that. Staff is young but nice and respectful. No complaints with this place!

Holy Cow (somewhat literally). Got a two scoop of chocolate and wanted to write a review with a picture after my first bite, but then got side-tracked with eating the ice cream and forgot to take the picture. Probably the best ice cream in Raleigh.

It is nice to have an ice cream shop downtown. Even on the crowded night the owner was able to check to make sure that coffee I order was ok. He even offered to brew me a new cup. Look forward to going back for more cookies and cream.

The ice cream is great, the people are so sweet, and the atmosphere is so cute. There were 2 boys in front of us with no adult, and the owner was super patient with them and was so kind. Definitely going to become a regular here!!!

Awesome ice cream from UNC. Outstanding flavors, great selection, friend staff, free water. Nice outdoor seating. Cones, bowls, shakes, specialty sundaes, they have it all! Lovely to have local homemade ice cream downtown.

Order through their on site delivery. They sent a completely different order. Ordered for two people. Sent only one and it was completely wrong and still charged $25! If the service doesnt work, why offer it?

Got the Carolina Crunch, it has Butterfinger and Heath Bar chunks with a caramel ice cream base. It was a little strong on the peanut butter flavor but was good and creamy nonetheless.

Great ice cream sundae creations. I had the Solomon Grundly which is basically a a dirt cake ice cream sundae. Ice cream was great, lots of flavors to choose from.
