The Love Boat, San Carlos Blvd., Ft. Myers, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. My first time going to the many ice cream joints around here. The food. I got a chocolate malted shake. OBA OBA 7 bucks. This is the most expensive shake I have ever had. It was thick. I could not suck on the straw until 25 minutes after getting home. Very chocolatey and sweet. Yes I tasted the malt. Is it worth 7 dollars??? NO. Maybe $5.50 or $6 but 7 bucks...no... Service was quick and nice. Chatter...I hated the design of the parking lot. Only 1 way in and out ...plus you had to circle around the entire building to leave. Handicapped parking is a long 75 feet from the only entrance. If you have never been here before you do not know this. Again stupid floridian designers they should have and could have place the disable spots IFO the only entrance. They failed to follow the spirit of the disabilities act. Another reason florida is always in the top 5 of worst drivers in the US.

Husband, daughter and I decided to check out Love Boat while vacationing. We stopped by three times during our six day trip. And we only went three of the six days because we didnt know about it until the third day of our trip. We tried some other ice cream shop before finding Love Boat (some shop that claimed to have 2000 flavors which was a lie). Anyway, after finding Love Boat, there was no going elsewhere. We are an ice-cream-loving family so we know our ice cream quite well. And hands down, Love Boat is the best weve ever had. The sorbet was also delicious. Trust me, you cannot go wrong coming here. The service was great also. The place was always packed but the servers were efficient, so you wont wait very long. And even if you do have a long wait, hang in there because it is worth the wait.

Love boat has a Great selection and delicious Ice Cream. However, when we went there today the service was beyond frustrating. I can handle waiting in line for delicious Ice cream but when after a half hour of waiting I get up to front and see that the employees are busy talking away and gossiping to each other, i got a little peeved. Then they skipped us in line, probably because they were too busy talking. Then when my boyfriend ordered a number 4 they gave him a number 3 instead. I just feel you should be more attentive when your customers are already on wait the moment they walk in the store. Besides that, my raspberry chocolate ice cream was delish.

There are so many creative flavors to choose from and all of them are ridiculously good. Ive tried the lemon custard, key lime pie, blueberry cheesecake, raspberry cheesecake, salted caramel bacon, coconut almond fudge, and banana cream pie and would definitely recommend all of them. You can choose two flavors in a kids cup/cone, four flavors in a small, and up to six flavors in a large. Portions are extremely generous and the quality of the ice cream is exceptional. Best ice cream in the area!

OMG, the best ice cream ever! I got three flavors in a small dish and it was enough for 2 people. I got coconut, chocolate peanut butter but my favorite was coffee toffee. I tasted quite a few samples and everyone was great. My husband got the double deep chocolate and he loved it. We are going back today to get some more. They even have sugar free and fat free. I think all of them are diet, right?????

Over 60 flavors made on premises !! Where to start.... Lets start with "Toffee Coffee" for those who remember Heathbars and great coffee flavor...Yum. Then, vanilla, cookies & cream, white crunch, etc..... It really doesnt get better than what they serve. Small parking lot, so you may have to park next door, but only if they are closed !! One of our "MUST VISIT" places every time were in the area.

When I first went the Love Boat, I was skeptical about their ice cream. Then I fell in LOVE with it!! Its the best ice cream Ive ever had!!!! They allow you to sample and they give ample amounts of ice cream! Every time I go the service is great, despite the wait, since everyone knows about them. Every time I get to Ft Myers I go no matter what my time limit is!! I wish they had one where I live

Love Boat has the BEST Ice cream! My 3 favorites are Cinnamon caramel pecan, Birthday cake and Blueberry cheesecake! This is one of our "Must dos" when we have out of town company! And even with the line out the door, they are fully staffed and work quickly to get your order! They also have large portions! We usually take a small cooler with us to take home the leftovers for the next day!

My family and I love this place! The ice cream was excellent with *so* many different flavor options. The employees were kind, upbeat, helpful, and not stingy with samples (which is great when there are so many innovative flavors available). I would recommend this ice cream shop to everyone, and would even say its worth an out-of-the-way drive!

Not sure if I can add anything constructive to anyone elses reviews. Truly amazing homemade ice cream and sherbet. My favorites have been the Apple Pie, Orange, and Pumpkin. Lines form around the building, so find a spot and send a representative or two to order. And as a special tip, if you bring a school pendent youll get a free treat!

Great ice cream and huge portions!! Always stop here a few times while on vacation. Today when we went to leave our car wouldnt start ... the young lady and gentleman that were working went above and beyond. Orange Pineapple is my favorite ice cream!!! Love their new location. Its still busy, which is great for business. On my most recent visit, I took my dog and was offered a "doggie cup" which is 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream. How thoughtful of them. I love this place even more now!

Hands down, best ice cream ever!! Grasshopper is one of my favorite, as well as chocolate fudge brownie! Be careful going during season, the line will be out the door, so make sure you have time! I personally get a pint and keep it at home in my fridge. Friendly staff too!

8:45 on a Saturday night and there was a huge line out the door. First thought, this better be worth the wait. Now let me tell you it was more than worth it. This was the best ice cream ive ever had. I will definitely be paying Love Boat another visit very soon. Delicious!!
