If I could give one star, I would. I recently heard about The Ice Cream Shop based on a Groupon and was excited to support a local business. I was intrigued by the fun flavors and cute ambiance. I have to tell you, though, after my experience today that while the ice cream was okay, I will not return and will encourage my friends not to return either. I purchased a single scoop in cone, and requested a cup to put it in since I was holding my infant daughter and it was especially hot out so I was worried about dripping on your floor. When I paid, I questioned why my single scoop of ice cream cost $4. "Well, you had a cup and a cone. You can get one with it, but not both. I charged you for the cup." When I told her that I wished she had told me that, she just shrugged her shoulders. When I pushed the matter and told her I wouldnt have gotten a cup if I had known it would cost me a $1 plus tax, she didnt even look up from the magazine she was reading while she responded, "Yah, well, whatever." Next time, Ill go to the frozen yogurt place down the street or buy a carton of Breyers at the grocery story but you can bet I wont ever go in there again! There is no excuse for that kind of rudeness and poor customer service.

ok so we go there tonight, friday. theres one person running the counter and a line to the door, no big deal. i ask for a strawberry shake, "we have no milk" I ask for cappuccino crunch " cant get it now its at the bottom, i get 3 small cups of good ice cream, not what i came for but no big deal. I give her a 20 she hands me back bills and says shes out of change so cant give me my change. she tips herself. OK im going elsewhere next time. some one needs to learn how to run a business. sorry, but thats what just happened...oh one more thing, checkout how they put the scooper in dirty water every time the scoop ice cream. the person was putting it in a metal container every time. i think it needs to be rinsed with each use or at least after handling money

A small place with the standard offerings of ice cream choices. The staff was friendly and quick to help. The inside was cramped and it was hard to maneuver around some of the other patrons. If youre downtown and want desert, this is a good place to go. However, I would recommend getting it to go rather than hoping youll find a place to sit.

Really cramped inside. I get that it is a quaint, little downtown shop but...... when we were there, only two families were there and it felt jam packed! The ice cream was okay, and the interior felt a little dingy. I think I will pass...
