We asked about ingredients FOUR different times and were assured the green beans did not have pork in them (The waitress checked with the cook, the label on the broth). It was only upon consuming some that a noticeable ham/bacon taste was present. I then confronted the waitress who got the manager who offered us an apology and a pork free replacement side. We avoid pork for religious beliefs and to be defiled and then insulted so is infuriating. If my 18 month old son had not had pork on one other occasion, Cracker Barrel would have been solely responsible for defiling my son and would have heard from a slew of lawyers for such neglect and ignorance. It was in November 2013 that we ate there and only now after this much time can I write a review that is not scathing. The mere sight of the building upon exiting the highway turns my stomach every time. They do not even know their own products, and for a restaurant that is scary. Southern hospitality would have dictated more than a replacement side. The juice touch the rest of my food and I couldnt eat it. More than one of our family of 6 ordered green beans and was forced to only eat 1 side for dinner- and still pay for contaminated dinner. The ACLU would have a field day with this.

Love cracker barrel. This particular one is my fave because its a little off the beaten path & not quite as busy as the others near me. Ive seen the same employees for years & I cant say enough about the biscuits & hashbrown casserole. Absolutely love the country store & can never visit without buying something. Actually bought a very nice watch & ring last time I was there for $30. Christmas time they have the best tree ornaments & at Halloween they have the cutest stuff you wont find anywhere else. Ohio State items are always in abundance!

We stopped by on a Thursday night. It was less than 50 % full. Our waitress was good, but the time it took to get our food was 50 min and then they did not have any gravy. She did bring out gravy when we were done eating. This place has some serious issues in the kitchen. We like to utilize cracker barrel when traveling, but this location has the worst service we have experienced of all the Cracker barrels we have visited. We will not visit the roostown location again.

This place has been a family favorite for years! The store has so much cool & unique products for sale, I think its a great place to find gifts for those people who are always hard to buy for, I can always find a nice gift for anyone from here! Not to mention the food is great! My favorite appetizer to order is their fresh soft croutons with a side of ranch dressing, its not on the menu but if you ask for it theyll bring it to ya!!

The service is terrible here...4g cell service that is. Waitress was a blast. Food excellent. Manager stopped by and seemed great. Only been here once. Parents eat here often and really like it. They have to drive 25 minutes to get here. Try the fried chicken A1. Only minor complain is that since its so popular it is a little loud with everyone talking. Im sure no one can correct that. I WILL BE BACK. Its a drive for myself also.

Always been a fan. But very disappointed with this experiance. Ordered meatloaf my portion was about a 1/4 inch thick and I could see holes in it like Swiss cheese. I have had lunch meat thicker. It"s not like I ordered sirloin its meatloaf. All for the low price of 10.00 dollars. My wife asked twice for catsup I finally saw a bottle at an empty table and got up and got it myself. Sad very sad. :(

Ive been to alot of their locations and the food always seems to be served just about warm . I think theyre trying to avoid a lawsuit . You can request to have it hot and itll come out piping . Food at this particular location was salty and the chicken and dumplings were very gluey and starchy . Other dishes are nice and their breakfast is good .

My family and I love Cracker Barrel, but this location needs work. Waitress rang in the wrong order and my fiances fish was undercooked. Manager made no attempt to comp our meal after potentially raw fish was consumed. Completely inexcusable. If you like Cracker Barrel, keep driving. You will leave this location with a bad taste in your mouth.

Not the best Cracker Barrel, far from the worst. Foil pack "camping food" needs work, WAY overdone. Tons of food establishments today seem unable to teach basic cooking skills. Probably a side effect of a society loaded with folks that never learned the fundamentals at home or anywhere else.

Been to this Cracker Barrel numerous times over the last twelve years. Always quick to get a seat and food is always out promptly. Service is good and attentive. I suppose my only qualm is the religious paraphernalia being sold in the store fronts and ads (note: Im an atheist.)

Holy HECK! Is Cracker Barrel serious??? They quit doing plain oatmeal! The eggs were under done! The apple bran muffin was dry, stale & hard! My waitress was sweet and attentive, so I didnt complain to her about my meal. The manager compd half my meal and apologized.

An abundance of good food. Waitress was very nice and friendly, only problem was the eyelash, I found under my eggs. Lost my appetite after that, but cant blame them for one eyelash. They also offered more food and to subtract the eggs and bacon from the bill.

The food here is standard for Cracker Barrel but the service was excellent my wife got a Rotten Tomato in her salad. There was no way to know that it was rotten on the inside for them but they still discounted the salad and was quite nice about the situation

Ive always enjoyed the food! They changed the menu a bit and not for the better! The servers were ok! Could have been a bit more friendly and attentative to our table( i never got offered a coffee refill and didnt recieve it when i did ask for it!

Food is always above and beyond..but not the last time.. BLT was flat as a pancake and we asked for cheese and no cheese! Then we were charged extra when the server brought it to us on a plate...so dissatisfied

Not good this time. Coffee tasted like warm water, the gravy for my biscuits tasted like nothing no flavor at all. I also was charged $3.89 for adding 1 pancake!! The service was very good. Very nice waitress.

Very disappointed once again. This is our second time at Cracker Barrel within 3 weeks and yes it was around 7pm and they were already out of Meatloaf, baked potatoes and even soup VERY VERY DISAPOINTED
