I have been going here since I was little and they still fry fish the way I like it, lightly breaded. Drew had the flounder, Lily went with the combo and I had the shrimp basket. This is one of very few places that has maintained the integrity of its portions, quality and reasonable prices. It always feels like going home, great food and wonderful service.

This is the worst restaurant Ive ever been to. The service is terrible. Rude and slow. Had to ask for a refill 5 times. Never got it sat for and hour and 20 minutes before getting my cold food. The people that came in after us got theres first must I say our table is two. I am not talking about a hole family. TWO PEOPLE. Extremely rude. Never come back.

To say the least...I was very disappointed & dissatisfied today. My family & I have been eating here since 1984. Today at 11:30 it took how long to get waited on and way to long to get our food. It was cold!!! Short handed & waitresses had to also check people out at the register. You have a goldmind....and you shorten your staff!!! Not NICE

My wife and I went here this morning for the first time. We live in Orlando and were at the beach looking for a cheap meal. This place hit the spot. The prices are great. The serving sizes are big. The service was great. This is one of those classic places that you dont find around anymore.

Besides the fact that the food is simple yet home style, the friendliness of those working are far above average. Its in the perfect location, and going right after you watch the sunrise is the perfect time to go! Cash only, but what smart people dont carry cash!!!

This is a great local spot for a cheap but awesome breakfast. I have never been disappointed here and the service is great. Whenever I visit NSB I am sure to stop in for a great meal. The place can get a little crowded but is definitely worth a visit.

My wife and I have been eating at The Beacon since we were little kids. Im claiming this to be a historical landmark. They have been serving locals quality food for decades. The Beacon is New Smyrna Beach. Go eat there and experience the real deal. Go.

Every time I come here the staff is very friendly. They treat me like family. The food is delicious and the price is unbeatable. Located a stones throw from the beach, its a staple place to eat for anyone in the area. You wont be disappointed.

Love this little local spot! We have been eating here while on vacation in New Smyrna Beach for the past 12 years. The omelets and French toast are delicious and priced very reasonably. The staff are always friendly. Highly recommend!

My expectations on this place were high at first. But then 50 min later it didnt turn out that way. For 2 eggs+ hash brown + grits=50 min waiting time. Not recomend and food had no taste. Please beware Waiting time very long.

Had breakfast. Burnt bagels,how do you burn a bagel!! Extra greasy bacon, grease filled synthetic scrambled eggs, oh, cash only, because any would dispute crappy food. 30 bucks for food we threw away.go to a chain restaurant.

Chairs on the patio were like a torture device. Service was slow even though there was no one here. Food was cold for some people and waitress spilled stuff on us. Prices were fine and was good though.

Ate here on a holiday weekend. It took a while to get our food but was worth the wait. Had a Greek omelet. Kids had pancakes. The servings were huge and homemade. Good spot.
