So this place was small so if you have a large group i wouldnt recommend it. The food was ok, but the prices were outrageous. Its like $4 for "a bagel w cream cheese" o but they charge you another $1 for the tiny plastic circle of cream cheese so its actually a $5 thomas bagel.. I could bot believe that tiny cream cheese was an extra $1 on an already over priced bagel, "w cream cheese" in the description, they should also add *cream cheese not included. I had a skillet breakfast. The eggs were overcooked and bordering crunchy scrambled eggs. It was covered in gravy so that def was in its favor. Flavor favor lol. But for $9 you get the skillet. I can go to cracker barrel and get all the fixins for the same price. so i really wasnt impressed w the food enough to over rule the prices. Also when i asked about why im charged for cream cheeses when the description says "w cream cheese" its like no one knew. Terrible customer service, "im not a server so i dont know why", well you work in the restaurant, you could find out if its correct that you DONT get one cream cheese per bagel, you ring up all the orders up front so HAVE you or HAVENT you EVER seen the two costs together on a ticket before? just dumb, ill never go back not worth it.

The food and service we got from Appletons Cafe was beyond AWESOME! My family and I stopped in there on a Sunday morning around 9:15 am. We were in a hurry and had to be at my son’s baseball tournament by 10:00 am. We were hesitant about stopping on a Sunday morning (since we were running late), but our server and the cooks in the back had us out of there in no time. Michelle was really professional, kind, and knew her menu well! Our service alone was worth the review, but I ordered and then devoured the best omelet I have ever eaten in my entire life (no exaggeration). I ordered what I typically get at every breakfast restaurant I go to... A bacon, sausage, and cheddar cheese omelet. It was by far the best omelet I have ever eaten anywhere... It was cooked perfect and actually had a good amount of bacon, sausage, and cheese in every single bite. I highly recommend this place and give them 6 out of 5 stars :-)

Our first time dining there and I dont believe I will go back unless they are sincerely sorry. I was brought by a church friend today with my 3 small children for brunch. As we entered the cafe I turned and sent my husband back out because the Halloween decor was so gruesome. Then our two youngest had to go to the bathroom, what could we do? We were waiting for an outside table (which was less over the top with decor) but my husband had to take the children to the bathroom. He said it only got worse as they walked down the hallway and the ugliest and most horrifying stuff was right at the level of our 6 year old son. Who is currently crying because it scared him so bad he doesnt want to go to sleep. Way over the top for a "cafe" if you ask me.

We went for Sunday breakfast the week before Halloween and we were very impressed by all the decorations and that the staff dressed up in different outfits. They had spider webs everywhere and even a dead mummy on the table in the corner. The wait was about 10 minutes for two and were were seated in the back porch which was pretty nice. The food was very diverse, the Greek omelet was delicious and the hash browns were to die for! Our main waitress was a bit slow however the hostess was hilarious and very friendly. Great place for brunch on Sundays. They are also dog friendly since they have a little patio out back.

This place is a great down home cafe with consistently good food. Try to get there around Halloween, they really go all out on decorations--Cheesy but really great nonetheless. My favorite thing on the menu is their Monte Cristo, lots of melty cheese, lots of meat. I highly suggest it for something a little out of the ordinary. And the price is very reasonable, I think that sandwich is $7.50 with fries. Ive only been there for lunch but Im sure they make a great breakfast too. And remember no dinners here so dont get there too late! (also worth noting they are closed on mondays)

Great food, best service. Our go to for excellent breakfast overall. Not pricey at all, $7-10 range, I get the x2 eggs, x2 meat (sausage or bacon), and x2 pancakes (with chocolate chips). The pork chops are superb. Daily specials, no lunch served on Sundays, closed on Mondays. They decorate during holidays and special occasions, but Halloween is by far the best. Health nuts beware! This is a local grease spot, with all of its hearty goodness, accompanied by personable and splendiferous waitresses that keep your coffee cup full. *They also remodeled, so its looks aesthetic and homey*

A bit disappointed. Breakfast today treating Mom & Dad for Moms birthday. Been there once before. Seniors dont eat too much so they share. They asked to have 1 egg sunny up and 1 over light, they wouldnt do it. Too complicated I suppose. They ordered 2 breakfast separate instead. Waited 30 min for any food. Refills on drinks slow and had to ask. Pancakes I had dry, turkey sausage patties like bricks. French toast ok so says my wife and kid. Waitress said specials on weekends only, not during week. Prices ridiculous for the food and service you receive. Sorry wont be back.

Appletons is that local restaurant you love to visit regularly because the staff is polite and professional while serving up food that is as good as it gets. We can always rely on them for a quality meal that leaves you feeling satisfied. Weve been going here for years and never had a bad experieince. The ONLY thing we wish they would improve on is the coffee, it is completely average. AND, we wish they had apple butter!

Appletons is awesome for a country - dont worry about the calories - breakfast. The food is delicious. I had the eggs benedict with gravy all over it instead of hollandaise sauce. The hash browns with cheese all mixed in were delicious too. The interior has the feel of a homey, country cafe and it works well. We sat on the "back porch" part of the venue and had an enjoyable time. The service was good.

Yeah went here this morning, there were only two other tables filled. With two waitresses I dont know why it took 8 minutes for someone to come over to take my food order it could have been longer but I dont know because after 8 minutes of just sitting with a water I left. The waitresses were noticeably standing in the door just talking... Not going back

Only serves breakfast and lunch but food is amazing large portions. Very kind and skilled wait staff. Restaurant decorates with seasonal decor. Christmas is very nice and it is in top 10 places to eat for Halloween experience in Orlando. We go regularly but is a Halloween must. They offer inside and patio dining. Everything on the menu is exceptional

Im from up north, and my cousins brought me here and recommended the ham and cheese toasty. I felt such bliss, it was delicious. I 100% recommend this! And yes the decorations Ive heard are freaky, but come on, suck it up, I would fly back to FL just to eat another ham and cheese toasty from the one and only, world famous, Appletons Cafe.
