This restaurant and the staff is a joke especially the management the bar was under temp because the food was cold and the chicken was raw. The last straw and my reason for never returning was A roach crawled across my table and the waitress said im sorry and smashed it with a towel she was carrying and acted as if it was no big deal the bathroom had fecal on two of the toilets and the manager joked it off saying use a different one and then rudly said ill get someone in there. My 3 yr old daughter was splashed with soup by a manager and she kept saying you burnt the heck out of me to the man and our watress they laughed sayin how cute she was. When I replied that is not funny he suggested that I keep her back further from the bar. How is this so when I have to keep her with me to fill out plates. The food was dried up and not much to choose from I let manager know each one of these issues before the roach epesode no real response to be concerned. After the roach tried to give me a card for free meal i said I will not be returning I need my money and corporate number he gave me my money but refused to give me corporate number or his name. I asked a waitress for the number and his name she said sure but he instructed her not to give to me. I will never eat there again GOLDEN CORRAL FRANKLIN OHIO

First time issue was I had a hot wing that still had feathers on it( still have the pic too) was like pulling teeth to get anything done about it, of course I couldnt eat after that and asked for a refund but rather than refund they wanted to give me free meal next time, next time comes no real issues besides the bathrooms and there were flys inside restaurant, third and final time my family was getting food on the end where the chicken is, the guy on the kitchen side drops a pan of food it splashes through the counter part hits me and my 3 yr old. It was hot! Left red blotches on my daughters skin. Guy never apologized or looked up as I was talking, a server even seen it, she was nice enough to get the manager (who said he reviewed the tape and could not be certain the scolding water hit us) was very dry and unconcerned for my daughter and told us to call should we need to take her to the doctor, no apologies or even a grain of care from corporate, that is the last we have dealt with them. While there were issues, for the most part an entirely satisfying meal. Large buffet to choose from for everyones taste. There were a wide variety of fresh veggies, entrees of all kinds, main course selection, everything from soups to salads, breads, sides, through desserts a selection of cakes, pies, cookies, ice cream vanilla & chocolate 4 additional flavors that change regularly. Kathy our waitress was super attentive, insuring we had our every need supplies. The facilities were well cared & monitored in timely manner. I of course ate more than I really should have but Id say I will pay for that later. Prices were not budget busters for all the food we consumed. It was an enjoyable visit & Im certain we Will be back often. I recommend this establishment for those with big appetites on a short budget. This will help you get a great meal to appease the most discerning hunger.

Talk about an awesome time great food and friendly service everything was piping hot and fresh nothing overcooked or undercooked steaks are the way you wanted them and man there were plenty loveing all the new foods that they have added I mean come on hand-dipped homemade butter pecan ice cream hell yeah all the staff look bright and happy which is a plus they were super friendly and a couple were acting like clowns but thats what I want to see hell we even had a duet singing nothing but the dog in me what a great time what a great experience dont pay attention to the bad reviews and a gluten-free reviews you want gluten-free dont go out to eat but if you want to get your eyes bigger than your belly and have a great time this Golden Corral will produce peace out blessed be

As I go through the reviews honestly I laughed as the bad reviews because its all lies. I seen one where someone seen raw chicken, how the employees are rude, how the bathrooms are dirty, and how the whole restaurant is joke. Im a employee there I can tell you it all lies and im not saying it just because I work there. Everyone friendly and we address all problems there. When there is barley any food on the bar thats when we are changing breakfast to lunch and lunch to dinner. Ever since I worked there I never came across any of these problems at all. Every day I always here how good of a place it is to eat at and nice everyone who works there is. It a good place to eat at, great food and good people, i extreme recommend this place

I only come here once a year for the past 6 years during the Hamvention in Dayton... At first it was great, but the past couple years it has gone down hill... On my most recent visit, arriving at 730 pm on Thursday, May 19, 2016 a lot of the food is either empty, low or just dried up and not appetizing. I noticed the floors were really dirty, many of the tables had dirty dishes but the guests were gone, and when I went to the washroom to wash my hands, I noticed a tile had fallen down by the sink and there appeared to be black mold, NOT GOOD! The only good thing out of the meal was the steak. But unfortunately this isnt enough to make me want to return again.

I visit this location a couple times a month. We enjoy the selection. Today not quite sure what happened. We went in for breakfast at 10am and there was very little available on the bar. Several customers were walking around with empty plates looking for something to eat. While eating what little we could find i watched 5 employees either walk out for a break or were walking around drinking a soda. I have managed restaurants for the past 20 yrs and I know things can get hectic but customers need to be addressed first. I was very disappointed in this location today and will definitely rethink visiting again.

First of all, the time on this is all wrong. Just to clarify, they close at 10pm. Supposedly they have been bought out. Good luck trying to get some one to answer the phone, after calling 15 times and no one answers is completely ridiculous! Its not like theyre busy between 8:45-9:00pm. And where do the workers go, over to a table just to the left of the register. Complete lack of leadership, rather go to McDonalds next time. Top number is a screenshot of my call log showing how many times the phone went unanswered!

Food is not the greatest, and the price is high for the quality. But thats pretty much expected for a Golden Corral. My low review for this particular location is their handling of the booking for their party room. 2 reservations for the room by a group I am a member of were not honored over the course of a few of months. On one occasion they double-booked and we were moved to the main dining area. On the 2nd occasion, they triple-booked and our group and another group were moved to the main dining area.
