This restaurant provided one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I was dining in the restaurant with my wife, newborn daughter, and 3 year old son. The waitress was inattentive, the food came out one dish at a time, and when we asked to speak to the manager, the employees locked the door and called the sheriff department. I asked for them to allow my wife and children to leave, offered by drivers license even and they refused. The sheriffs office came, scolded the employees for not letting my family leave. I paid the bill, did not get an opportunity to speak to the manager, and feel a bit robbed by the merchant. I have called and filed a complaint with the warren county fire department regarding their fire code violation and hope that my credit card company may be able to gain and itemized receipt for my meal. Absolutely not family friendly.

You know they say dont drink the water in Mexico. Here, its dont eat the food. Something here caused me to be ill and it wasnt pleasant. The food was not appetizing, the salsa pureed...tomatoes?...with no flavor. If thats authentic mexican salsa, Ill take the Americanized chunky version that has flavor any day over that watery stuff. I had the mexican burrito and luckily didnt eat it all (wasnt that good and couldnt easily distingush the beef from whatever else was in it). Actually the longer I sit here (heh) Im growing angry that a burrito, a side of sour cream and an iced tea cost $13.00 with less than mediocre service, left me feeling ill later this evening. Horrible experience (no offense to my co-workers whom I joined for lunch).

Maybe not the traditional dining experience but the food was so good and the staff is friendly if a little casual about things. Service took a few minutes and they had no one else in the place, but friendly when it arrived and we were in no hurry. The front room staff was southern White ladies, little curious for a Mexican place. Food took a little while but was delicious and I couldnt finish mine. Nothing was bad, just a little odd, and after one experience and knowing what to expect, I would definitely go back.

Been coming here for about 4 or 5 years. When I first came here, it was managed by a nice husband and wife and was one of the best authentic mexican places around. Its gone through new management about 4 times since then. Each time it gets a little worse. Food quality goes down. Portions go down. Service goes down. Such a disappointment now. Having lunch here right now. Just screwed up my order. Not surprised. Sent it back. Came back wrong again. Waitress never came back to check on anything.

Probably not a place to take a first date. Modest dining area, tv playing with Spanish soap operas, radio blaring, a window to transfer money to mexico that was pretty busy. Now for the food. the kitchen area is in full view, I havent seen anything lke this sense I left Texas. Definetly Authentic. Took almost 15 minutes to get our food. Definetly worth the wait. Great food. If your only out for great food, not atmosphere, this place is a must try.

Best Mexican that I have had in Cincinnati and very authentic. Most of the patrons are actually Mexican but they welcome gringos as well. Service may not be quite what you are used to but it is generally good. The atmosphere is not great either..not a great date place but I only care about the food which is absolutely incredible all the way around. They make their own sauces, salsas and everything else. Just incredible real Mexican food.

Im a big Mexican food fan and Im sure Ive been to just about every Mexican restaurant in Cincinnati and Northern KY. This is by far the best! I usually get the Chicken Nachos which are awesome and the steak tacos which are loaded with fresh juicy steak! If you like authentic Mexican skip Taco Hell, Shitpolte and all those other fake joints and go to Maya!

This is one of my favorite Mexican places in the Cincinnati area. I admit Im biased, my favorite tacos are the breakfast tacos in a place in west Monterrey, all the tacos Ive had around Cincinnati seem to lack the flavor Ive fallen in love with. The enchiladas verdes at Maya have good flavor and a nice tanginess to them. I look forward to trying the mole.

This isnt what most Americans would think of when they think of Mexican food. However, if youve traveled to Mexico and eaten in the non-tourists restaurants, and are looking to find something similar here, this would fit the bill! Great food, pleasant staff!

The best Mexican food Ive eaten outside of Mexico. Its really authentic too. The chef Jose is a real nice chap. He sometimes tries out new recipes and brings it out for you to taste. This place is better than all those chain Mexican restaurants in the area.

The food was good, the service was absolutely awful. We went at 130 at the end of the lunch rush. More than half the tables were vacant but still dirty. We waited for 25 minutes for our food after we ordered and then it wasnt even hot.

Terrible service! The waiter delivered my food to another table. When he realized it, he went to the table, retrieved it, and brought it to me... The food was just ordinary... Nothing special. $33 for 2 fajitas

The atmosphere is not the point of eating here, so dont be put off by the cafeteria style seating and decor. The fajitas I ordered were great and well portioned. Overall well-done authentic feeling food.

I am a Milford regular and just recently started working in and around the Kings Automall area. I was excited to learn one of my favorite places to eat was less than 5 minutes from my office.

This is authentic Mexican and very good. We love the tacos, simple but delicious, and the sandwiches. The prices are also reasonable.

The best authentic Mexican food in the area. The prices are unbeatable. Tacos, tortas, mole, and Caribbean platter are all exceptional.

Good chips and salsa. Meal was fine but not as spicy as I would have preferred. If you prefer mild cuisine, this is your place.
