Whats not to like about Cracker Barrel?!!? Always have good service, and the meals are very filling. If you want Comfort Food, this is the place to have breakfast lunch, or dinner. Handicap parking and seating. DH and I usually go on Friday evenings to have a fish dinner. Never fails: Take-home occurs! Single, couple, and family dining. Really enjoy going during the colder months because they light the fireplace! Talk about getting that "homey" feeling. Also, the General Store is a fun place to buy some unique, retro or kitschy items. Before leaving, or if waiting on a table, take a seat on one of the many rockers lining the covered porch. I have even sat out there during the colder or winter months (depending on how brisk the breeze is!)

Stopped here last on our way back from Michigan around 8:45pm. It was a bad choice! Ive eaten at many Cracker Barrels and have always enjoyed their warm comfort food and great service. Well, the food mustve been cooking all day because the sweet potatoe was just mush with several black spots on the skin. The chicken and dumplings looked like it was just thrown on the plate for an ugly presentation. The chicken was so tough I could barely cut it and the dumplings were just plain old, stuck together and tasteless! The service was awful too! We had two different servers. I waited so long for a refill on my coffee that we ended just leaving. Definitely not worth the money we paid for the meal! (or our time!)

Went Monday night with the family (6 of us) about 6:30ish, so after the dinner rush. We got a table right away and the server got our drinks, and then it kind of went downhill. The food came out eventually, not a super long time, but not quick either. It wasnt too crowded though, but it was LOUD! And it took the server many trips for simple things with plenty of time in between. The food was good, but getting extras, like dressing, or missing croutons, or lemons or extra syrup, just seemed to take a few reminders and some time to get. It was just really slow and really loud.

I walked in 20 minutes before closing, and asked if it was too late to order dinner. "Of course not" I was told, and then taken to my seat. Although my first choice from the menu was sold out, I found another option and had my meal in front of me within 10 minutes. My waitress was very attentive and brought me a new sweet tea glass every time mine was running low. I left about 10 minutes after closing, just as the manager came out to ask how everything was. No complaints, and to be honest, one of the more pleasant meals Ive had at a Cracker Barrel.

The food was good but the serves sucked she poured sweet tea all over me and my food. I had a sweeter on because i was cold and it was a cold day so i had to take it off and my new shirt i just got that i spent 33 dollars on got stains on it not including the 5 dollar shipping fee we payed full priced for the meal for 2 reasons 1.we were so mad we had to wait another 10 mins for our food to get it and because of shirt we just paid and left. 2.they didnt even think to take the food the messed up off our order will never go there

This place is always busy. There is nothing that sets it apart from any other Cracker Barrel you have been to. When we go, the tables are usually very close together and sometimes not all that clean. It is not as though there are roaches crawling out of the kitchen, just sticky or crumbs on the table and chairs. As I said above, very busy and there is almost always a wait. The place is crowded to the extent of uncomfortable. The food is fine, nothing special, just typical. We go on occasion as it is average.

Just left cracker barrel in Middletown, couldnt believe how bad the buscuits were, flat, hard and overcooked. We didnt complain, tried to make the best of it, but as we were leaving we saw everyone else had the fluffy 2 inch golden brown biscuits, ( main reason for going there was the biscuits and gravy). I guess we got the bottom of the barrel, probably wont go back. After talking to store manager who gave us a credit were willing to go back. Store manager was courteous and understanding.

Stopped in to this store on Thursday 7/7/16 at around 1:30pm, not overly crowded this time of day, we were seated quickly, then no one came back to us, 3 tables around us were seated after us, all 3 had their drink and food orders taken while we were still waiting, after a little over 20 minutes we decided to go across the street to Bob Evans and eat, we are frequent visitors to Cracker Barrel, luckily this particular store isnt local to us so it will be easy for us to never go here again,

Called to see if I could make a to go order over the phone and pay with card over phone because my husband was already out that way and I had the card. The MANAGER told me I wasnt able to do that and to go online and order, which is fine - except- thats not an option online. It tells you to call the store to order. Ive never been ran in so many circles trying to order dinner.

My food was terrible. My waitress "Tiffany" was so rude. She was constantly making rude comments and cussing. To top it off she smelt like cigarettes and beer which is stomach turning when youre trying to eat. I asked to speak with a manager and was told " Good Luck" at which point I walked out and left and decided I would never come back to this establishment again.

Service started out bad as we set for over 30 minutes before getting anyone to help us. Manager never did come over but out waitress said anything we wanted was free. Never had bad service there before and the food is always excellent. I will give it another try and hope today was just a bleep in time

In typical Middletown fashion people are rude & service takes an act of Congress. Food is always the same at Cracker Barrel. That is the best part. Fair price for a decent meal. Over all Cracker Barrel Middletown is a little better than average place to eat if you can tolerate the people.

Hey, its Cracker Barrel! Whats not to like. Ive been to this location several times, and the service and food have been great. Ive never had to wait to be seated here, but I have only been at this location during daytime hours, so cant say about the evening experience.
