A group of friends and I came to this cozy little sandwich shop on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We were in town for a dance workshop weekend. There was probably about 10 of us in total. We got there at 12:30 and felt like an hour was a sufficient lunch period to eat and get back to our workshop at 1:30. Long story short, I was toward the back of the line and I didnt get my food until 1:45 (yes, 1 hour 15 mins after I arrived). The first person didnt get their food until 1:15 or so. They had between 2-3 people preparing the food, an older lady checking people out, and we saw a fifth person running in and out probably for a catering job. I have no idea what they were doing behind the counter to take so long for the preparation but let me warn you - THIS IS THE LAST PLACE YOU WANT TO EAT AT IF ITS BUSY. Not that it mattered much because our food took so long but the older lady checking out people was really slow. She did not know the prices on things, had to be told multiple times for each item being ordered, and was unfamiliar with the cash register. She was very sweet just highly unqualified for the position she was working in. Had she been skilled she could have checked us out then helped with food prep but truth be told she didnt even help after she finished checking us all out - just stood there and waited for new customers to come in (???) I can see this place being a very friendly hometown restaurant if you want to go in for a sandwich but they just did not have it together for a group of people and snapping to attention/taking care of the customers right in front of them. More staff, better delegation, more efficient workers? All of the above. TL; DR: the food was tasty, not the best Reuben I ever had but it was worth getting, the pickles were delicious, the wall decor was festive, the service was abominable.

Mz Pickles has the best turkey sandwich in Miamisburg, a town of great turkey sandwiches. I dont know how they do it with such simple ingredients, but their turkey sandwiches are luscious. Theyre a bit slow in preparation, so it makes sense to call ahead. Still, the lady who works there is very nice, and the food she prepares is incredible.

Solid Dagwood. I enjoyed the sandwich paired with a pickle and macaroni salad. For two people you can walk out for around $20 and be happy you went. I will definitely be coming back for another sandwich.

This lady has called the police on my friend for no reason . She took some one who was helping her and tried to throw him in jail. He has 4 kids and works 7 days a week. Dont eat here she is not nice.

Nice little sandwich shop, the Cuban, Reuben , and Italian were good. Dont be in a hurry because sweet old Mz Pickles cooks to order at her on pace. We plan to return regularly

A good fit for Miamisburg. Some nice subs, soups, and specialty hot dogs. The chicken salad has a nice flavor with grapes added. Good service, friendly people.

Been by the shop many times, never stopped. Big mistake. The Chicago Dog with a bowl of chili was delicious. We will definitely be back for more.

Great little sandwich shop. A lot of options, reasonably priced, and the owner makes all the food. Great small town feel, and homemade taste.
