OMG! I been living here for a long time and I never been here until now. They have the BEST sub ever and I been missing out. I been passing this place for long time always thought it was something else (I dont know how miss it). The outside is cute its like a little patio where you can eat outside or inside. When you enter its like a little New Jersey vibe there. They have so many options for Subs like hot and cold even family subs. They also have side dishes and non Subs food too. The person at the order taking/register was so friendly, she even greeted me right away and was so sweet helping with order because its my first time. They have different choices of meat even like smoke meat too. They have 3 different turkeys for me to choose from and I choose smoked turkey which I never had. I just got it the way they usually make it and it was amazing! Something about that turkey made a difference than other delis. It was like a party in my mouth. I really like the way they make their lettuce its shredded.I also ordered myself a pasta salad which was pretty good you can tell they use herbs and other ingredients and it was fresh too. Yes this place is a little pricey but you are kind of paying for the quality of everything. After I had eating at this place I cannot stop thinking about the sandwich. Sorry if it seems like Im bragging about this sandwich but it was the best turkey smoked ever. This place also sells fresh breads. My overall experience was great.

They absolutely refuse to sell plates of spaghetti before 4pm, but you can order bowls of spaghetti before then, and they have plates. No signs that say they dont sell plates of spaghetti before 4pm, either. The customer service regarding this issue was like talking to a wall. They didnt even offer to sell me two bowls and serve it on a plate. Instead, I had to do that myself, so I had upside down spaghetti with the sauce and meatballs under the noodles, since I didnt want to eat it out of their soup cups that they serve the "bowls" of spaghetti in. The spaghetti was not bad tasting, nothing to brag about, but not bad. I was only there, because my coworkers wanted subs, and I dont really care for sub sandwiches. I was hoping that theyd have an alternative, and they did. So, if a person is ordering a plate of spaghetti for lunch in a sub shop that sells spaghetti and not getting a sub, you might just want to sell them a plate of spaghetti, rather than irritating them further with stupidity. Rational suggestions are also welcome, not just saying over and over again that you CANT sell plates of spaghetti before 4pm.

Where have they been all my life?? Why had noone loved me enough until now to mention or take me to this location? I had no idea what I was in store for. From the parking lot people walked out of the building with these bags with these big long "Grinders" "Subs." I knew this was the real deal holyfield I was about to walk into. Man the line also told me this was the place to be! The line moved fast and there was a place where you could grab a bag or 2 of their sub rolls or soft big rolls for FREE(I knew immediately I was going to use them to make BBQ Chicken Sliders...and I did that night!) Man, if you like a fresh, mostly meat sub...this the place for you. A true Cheese Steak Sub is what I got. They cut the bread like a pocket and stuff it with all the trimmings! This place is about a 40 minute ride for me but im definitely going to make them my go to plave for a hearty meaty sub. Dont say I never did nothing for ya...check em out!!!

Often imitated (Im looking at you, Milton), never duplicated. Skinny Jeff and the crew have been making my #24 Italian Battalion in a very specific way for over 15 years, "Chris Way". I wont bother with the details, but I hope you like your meat grilled with mushrooms and hot peppers. It is the absolute best sandwich Ive had in all my life, and even when I lived in Florida, I made it a point to visit here every chance. A few things have changed: I miss the arcade game and pinball in the back, and Jeff got skinny on us (looking good brother!). But the Doraville Baldinos is one of the few constants Ive had in this town that never disappoints. UPDATE: Been a year since I came back, Im on my 10th or so visit, and the food is still always terrific! Worth the drive from Roswell to Doraville.

Ive been coming here for 20+ years. Any business stays open that long is a good sign. Once you step through the doors, you are transported to the 70s (decor and music) and you are greeted with warm smiles, excellent customer service and then presented with fantastic food. Every sandwich and side Ive had, with after more 20 years Ive had them all, I have never been disappointed with anything. Their spaghetti is good, but their cucumber salad is the absolute greatest Ive ever had. If you happen to be low on funds, they have a very generous daily special for $3.99. Jersey Mikes, Firehouse and, ughh, Subway, have absolutely nothing on the amazing food and service at Baldinos. Live long and prosper yall!

You cannot get a better sub in Atlanta, period. I have been going to Baldinos for 17 years. Their lunch staff has had the same folks working the line for 17 years. They have fresh bread every day, and they load the subs up with fixins. The meats and cheeses are delicious. They have a great meatball sub (ask for provolone). You can also get a soup, or what I prefer is to get a side of spaghetti. They have a good tangy sauce, and of course I order the meatballs on the spaghetti. Its just a deli, and they serve tons of folks every day, so the restaurant space is a little worn and old looking, but the food is great. Baldinos is that "hole in the wall" honeypot you love for the food and the great staff.

Every sub I get from here is always delicious. Did you know they serve dinner to anyone who comes buy on Christmas? Also, they give their old bread to the homeless. Im not a feel good hippie, but I respect the hell out of these guys for what they do and for how little they advertise it. When a corporate chain does anything they promote the hell out it. Meanwhile, Baldinos has been pulling more than their weight in the community for 40 years. Keep pumping out amazing subs, and thanks for all you do. - lifelong customer

Im a sandwich kind of guy, and it gets no better than Baldinos. I was first introduced about a year ago and have been back several times since. I order, without question, The Italian Battalion sandwich! This sandwich is a big boy and not for the faint of heart. Do not expect to get much accomplished in life after eating this thing because it will put you down for the count! I absolutely lover this sandwich and make it a point to get here at least once a month for lunch. You should do the same!
