This place used to be amazing; the cheeseburgers were the best around. Over the past year the service and quality have gone way down! We dont eat out a lot and Quatmans Cafe was a family favorite so when we voted for where to go, it wasnt uncommon to go to Quatmans Cafe. That is even despite the very small crowded space with it being a local favorite of many! However, we went about a year ago and took my sister from CO there for her birthday and I actually felt bad that it wasnt as good as usual. Burgers were over cooked. Then we went again a few months later and experienced the same disappointment. The last time we ate there we decided it would in fact be the last, experiencing yet again the same disappointing experience with the quality as well as service. A few months passed, bringing us to today when we gave it one final chance to win us back as customers and sadly it was the worst quality yet my burger even burnt!!!!! So a bit disappointed losing a good burger joint as a family favorite, but we will have to refuse to pay the good burger prices for a not good burger or to eat a not good burger for any price! I have noticed different staff, not sure if that is the reason, but although it was still way over crowded due to the yuppie atmosphere of Mason, eventually the poor food quality and service will leave people searching for a new yuppie hangout! Not sure if this is the same downfall at other locations also, but the Mason location is going way downhill!

Went there with my wife for dinner on a Monday evening. "Todays Special" on chalkboard was cheeseburger, fries, and drink for $8. Thats a good deal and we both went to the counter and ordered that. We then sat down at a table on their outdoor patio. When our server brought our food, a couple fries fell off my wifes plate and onto the table. Server picked them up with his fingers and placed them back on my wifes plate. We were so surprised by this that we were speechless. Burgers were over-cooked and dry and were bland -- no seasoning. Fries were just ok...nothing special. We both agreed weve had better burgers and fries at countless restaurants, including McDonalds and Wendys. Also, while waiting for our food to arrive, we looked at the menus on the table and noticed the daily special is shown for $7.50. We both agreed to promise each other to NEVER return to this place unless our lives depended on it.

Got the Daily Special. Cheeseburger, fries, canned soda for $7. A cheeseburger with excellence very filling very fresh. Easily a 1/3 pound patty. The fries were the smallish shoestring fries. Not my favorite, not very tasty. Places like this should really offer steak fries. One word of warning, it does not appear that they season their hamburgers and definitely do not season their French fries. If youre getting your order to go be sure to ask for salt and pepper. Speaking of asking, I asked for ketchup for my fries and mustard for my burger. she gave me two packets of ketchup and 6 packets of mustard

HI,I visit Quatman Cafe Alot.It is a nice place to eat.The servers take good care of you. I have been down on my luck lately and one of the girls or cook has helped me with something to eat.Again I think them very much.I am getting a little better know but still a couple weeks away from getting back to wear I was.I am hoping to continue my visits to this fine establishment.I hope can come and buy my lunch again soon and not need the manager or very nice servers to buy it for me..My son also has been with me a couple times.THis srarted about 6 months ago.Again thanks everyone at Quatman Cafe..Michael

Food is great put they have some of of the worst service I have gone in multiple times and during the entire time I was there they only came to my table to take my order and to give me my order. I did not get any refills on my drink and the place was not busy so there was no reason not to give better service. Overall I do like the restruant I just dont like how they treat their guests.

Ive been there 20-30 times and always get great service. Very laid back. I like the Mason location better than the Norwood location due to friendlier staff and they have all the fixins for the burgers. Their burgers are one of the best around and they always give you a load of fries. The specials are unbeatable. Where can you get an award-winning cheeseburger, fries and a beer for $7?

Horrendous service, food was horrible! Burger meat looked like frozen patty from costco but wasnt as good. I wondered when server didnt ask how wed liked it cooked. Fries are kinda like steak n shake but more plain. we wont ever go back. mom & pop places are always good in my book but i stand corrected. I had to go find napkins and plastic ware long after food came so we could eat.

Went over and above the call of duty with service and food preparation. Excellent customer service for a small gathering on a Sunday afternoon. Burgers were better than home! We love the cafe for its quaintness and pricing is reasonable. Love the Mock Turtle Soup and chicken salad, too! Think its better than any fast food and most places for a burger.

Terrible service. Was reffered this place by a local as me and my girlfriend are from Louisville. Will never recommend or think about going back. Waited 45 minutes for our waters and never got our food in that span. So we left. But I would rate their toilet paper 5 stars, at least they dont go cheap on the TP.

Not the best burger in town, but a pretty darn tasty one. This is on my go to list when I want a flavorful burger that is close to my work. There are no fancy options to load up the garbage. Instead these are simple burgers made well.

I heard the history of this place. Ive read the reviews about how its rated one of the top cheeseburgers in Cincinnati. All of its true! Absolutely delicious and well be going back many times from here on out.

Clean, fast service. But my hot roast beef sandwich was as dry as the desert. I couldnt eat more than two bites. Tried mayonnaise and mustard, no help. Extremely disappointed in the experience.

Burgers are excellent. I go specifically for the honey mustard here, simple chicken tenders with the sauce does the trick for me. From mason so its like a taste of home.
