Ok.. So, husband and I went to eat there for lunch one day to try out this new place. 1. Pizza was good. 2. Price was a great deal $ for 2 slices of either pepperoni or cheese with a drink..Well, all went down after that. Service was slow. I mean slow. We ordered the lunch specials..Took so long we decided to order some easy fix soft pretzels while we wait. WELL, they came the same time SOME of the pizza came.. Were still waiting on the other order of pizza. Tells us there was a large group came in. Just wait, Ill tell you that excuse again. So then they come and ask if i wanted a different kind of pizza since the other one I order wasnt read.. Uh NO.. SO we finally got everything. By the way, the waiter was hot to where he was dripping sweat.ew Hot in there was from the garage doors was open.. Ill give him a break. Was nice.. So a couple weeks after we decided to order take out. Well, that failed beyond me wanting to go back again.. Tells us it would be 45 min for take out. Fine with that. So our son went to get it. Finally after hr and half it was done. Tells us they had a big group and a lot of orders.. AGAIN.. First pizza we ordered was cold when it got here from their making mistakes.. Never will eat there again.. Hope you can get the food ready when you tell us.. Hope you change things. Oh dont worry.. We wont know..

The pizza here is absolutely fantastic and they have a great beer selection. The only thing preventing me from giving it a 5 star review is the service. With small exceptions, the service here is generally pretty bad. UPDATE: The GM of Macs contacted me based on this review and commented that they are making some changes to improve their service, and he took care of me and thanked me for the feedback. So if youre reading this dont jump to any conclusions thinking you may receive poor service based on my original review; Id say give them a shot with an open mind.

Slow service, smelly venue, but the pizza is good. My wife and I went twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. The service was horribly slow both times. We gave them some slack the first time, they were pretty busy. But lunch.... we waited almost an hour for food. The building smells like sewage, and the layout is just horrible.... no thought was put into it. The only saving grace was the food was good, but not worth the wait. We will not be going back again, and its a bummer. If youre in laden just go down to Maineville and putters, or out to fields ertel.

We absolutely LOVE the food! the pizza is so good that once you have it, there is no turning back to papa johns... This is a great place to have a drink after work, go for live music with your other half, or take your kids! My 2 year old LOVES the sand volleyball court... he plays while we enjoy food :) Service is getting a lot better each time we go in.. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for good pizza and beer! I know we will be a regular during football season!!

- - UPDATED BELOW - - Great food, always enjoyed going to the one by school in Clifton, but the service here was horrendous.. I never complain about service, much less review someones, but our waiter was very slow and made it painful for us to finish up and leave. - - UPDATE - - Ive returned a couple times since my first trip and the service has been hit or miss since then: overall much improved. The food is still awesome and I highly recommend it.

I have been to Macs on several occasions and have yet to have a bad experience. Their food is excellent and prices are very reasonable, especially during happy hour and their daily specials. They also cater to vegans and have gluten free options which are also reasonably priced and tasty. Very family friendly atmosphere so if youre looking for a true bar, this isnt the place for you.

One of the best pizza establishments in Cincinnati. I have yet to walk away disappointed. Attentive and caring staff and servers. Food is fresh, delicious and made of quality ingredients, portions are generous. Lots of variety on the menu with their star attraction being, of course, the pizza. Atmosphere is comfortable and very inviting. Great all around.

First of all, Macs Pizza Pub gets the most important two things right... Pizza and beer. The pizza has a nice crust, excellent sauce, and unique toppings. Their beer selection supports the fantastic local brew (50W, Rhinegeist, Madtree, etc.) plus many more. On the negative side, service, while generally good, can be spotty.

Ordered a Black & Blue at dinner hour tonight...waited too long for a dry burger that had little taste. My daughter ordered a Patty Melt sandwich that was inedible after 3 bites. Texas toast and patty were full of grease. We doggy bagged it home but our dog refused it too.

Pizza is by far the best pizza ive ever had. Many pizza places charge more and short change you on toppings and taste. This place does not. Lunch specials definitely make it better too. Only problem i have with the place is it has ruined other pizza places for me.

Unlike similar restaurants, its easy to get a table on a busy night even with a big party. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. Lunch specials are a great deal too -- less than $10 for a pizza or a burger with any number of toppings.

The bar closes at 1:45 every single night its a joke. Dont waste your time there. youll wait 45 mins for a drink and when you get one its watered down and worthless not to mention the bartenders drink till 4 am after the bar closes for free

Theres nothing special. Pizza reminded me of a Tonys pizza and the tots were nasty. The table next to us had something on it and 4 or 5 flies flying around it we had to fight with them to eat. Dont waste your money.

The service in this location has recently taken a nose dive. I went for lunch and it ended up taking over an hour and a half. The food in the menu that is not pizza is standard pub food. The pizza is ok.

Zero stars. Sat in dining room for over 15 minutes and was not even a knowledged. I called after leaving and the manager gave me a sorry excuse. Will not be going back the food isnt that good anyways.

The staff was great and friendly and very knowledgeable about the food! Beer was ice cold! Highly recommend Dirt Basteard (beer) I would highly recommend the flying pig pizza or the Calzone!

I really liked the atmosphere and the pizza. The wings and sauce were good, but could have been a bit more crispy. I think the waiter oversold us on how "amazing" they were going to be.
