Kitamu Coffee is THE place to go when you want more than just a coffee. People go their for the atmosphere and sense of community Kitamu fosters. The Oreo Frapp is the perfect delicious indulgent for that post lunch afternoon pick me up, The owner is really a great guy and really cares about his customers and his community. It is very active in the local music scene and has hosted some of the biggest bands in the US including Walk The Moon. Go check it out sometime on a Friday night to enjoy an open mike event stacked with amazing singer/songwriters or wander in on a lazy Tuesday, grab an espresso and sit in one of the plush chairs and read one of the community books, magazines or newspapers. Kitamu Coffee is a great place to lose track of time and a great place to just take a moment for yourself. So much more than just a coffee shop.

I heard that this was a cool place to come chill. Wrong. I walked in for the first time one night and there was a mosh pit going on and a lot of other shady things going down in the parking lot. Tried to go again, met the boss and he made me extremely uncomfortable, winking at me and making crude remarks. last time i went in, tried to bring homework the shop got infiltrated with a handful of rowdy and loud kids unwilling to lower their voices and were extremely vulgar in their language. the coffee that i got there was god awful and cold. three times the charm for me. kitamu no more

Kitamu Coffee is just an all around amazing place. The coffee is amazing and from Staufs which is a local coffee roaster. They have an amazing selection of Teas, I highly recommend the chamomile. The atmosphere is really how you want it, you can sit around on couches and talk with friends or you can sit at a table and work or read. The owner Mo is amazing and so is the staff who always make you order just how you want it. I visit Kitamu a couple times a week and have never been disappointed.

Im always greeted with a smile whenever I stop in. Sometimes I bring my work and sometimes, I just grab and go, but the experience is always friendly. I havent tried any of their specialty drinks, but the coffee is great. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

A great place for great coffee and atmosphere in Hilliard. From what I hear, they are pretty tied into the local music scene. You should definitely stop in this place. They even have free WiFi if you need to get any internet work done.
