Great Wall is located in a strip connected to Kroger on the West Side of Groveport. It is a Non-Buffet (Entrees, Sides & Appetizers), "Casual" Chinese Cuisine Restaurant (Szechuan, Hunan & Cantonese) and a hot spot for lunching locals (Lunch Menu: $4.75 served from 11am - 3pm). They also accept Call-In/Pick-Up orders and Party Catering is available. Although it is not fancy (casual atmosphere, plastic & styrofoam diningware), the food is ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!! The Portions are VERY LARGE and always served reasonably Quick & Hot. I have tried a great many of their different dishes with much satisfaction. Their LoMein and Fried Rice is the best I have EVER had the pleasure of endulging. Their General Tso Chicken is served with broccoli flourettes and Very Tasty (if you prefer Extra Hot & Spicy...they will accommodate your wishes). Their Pork Egg Rolls are Perfectly Delicious and if you like Shrimp...you will be well pleased to find whole shrimps in their Shrimp Egg Rolls (not minced like most others). Their Egg Drop & Wonton Soup is beyond excellent! Overall, the Quality & Portions of their food more than justify the prices. The only complaint I have is that they do not have fountain drinks available and a single can of pop costs $0.85. They do have Hot Tea, as well as, Cold Sweet Tea (Quart for $1.25, but beware if you are a diabetic...it is Extremely Sweet!). I take my two teenagers there and order Two Entrees, Egg Rolls & Drinks for right around $20-$25...We ask for an extra plate and divy up the entrees...a little while later, we all waddle away in contentment (usually with a "Take Home Box" for the leftovers). I have been to every "Casual" Chinese Restaurant (Buffet/Non-Buffet) in a 10 Mile Radius and Great Wall is my Absolute Favorite! I highly recommend Great Wall to Seasoned Chinese Cuisine Connoissuers, as well as, those who "only like Sweet & Sour Chicken". Other Notes: Great Wall uses 100% Vegetable Oil and has NO MSG in their food. Open 7 Days A Week. Mon - Thurs 11am - 10:30pm Fri - Sat 11am - 11pm Sun Noon - 10pm

Its rare that I have a strong enough reaction to a restaurant to go online the next morning to rate it, but this was one of those times. We ordered: *Shrimp Egg Rolls: Oddly sweet. They were also undercooked and the egg roll wrapper was still floury. *Pork Egg Rolls: Ok, nothing great. Not much pork flavor, just slightly sweet cabbage. *Crab Rangoon: One of my favorite dishes, and ordered at every Chinese restaurant Ive ever been to. Great Walls version (more likely the cheap frozen ones they order) are the worst Ive ever had. *Fried Rice: Yellow. Fried rice should not be yellow. It also had very little flavor. *Sweet and Sour Chicken: Chicken cooked well in a crispy (though heavy) breading, but the sauce was insipid and neither sweet nor sour *Shrimp in Lobster Sauce: Disgusting. Smelled like... cant describe it. Canned fish-flavored cat food? Tasted just as bad as it smelled. All of it was dumped. *Garlic Shrimp: This was pretty good. Plump shrimp, lots of well-cooked broccoli. Spicy sauce, although it was overly sweet and the same unnatural red color as the sweet and sour sauce and Im pretty sure they just used the Sweet and Sour for a base and added some garlic and chili paste to it. The fact that this was somewhat enjoyable to eat is why the review is two stars instead of one. Bottom line is youre better off going to Panda Express. Their food isnt great, but its better than this place.

Simply awesome! Easily beats PFChang and other chinese food restaurants in the greater Columbus area. I eat there AT LEAST once a week and usually more often than that. Lunch servings are HUGE and CHEAP. Fast preparation, whether you eat in or carry out (unless they have a huge line, which does happen). They use top quality ingredients. I always order something with chicken and have never been disappointed. (There is some inconsistency in the degree of hotness of Hunan Chicken.) Vegetables always look fresh, crisp and bright. They will customize dishes (at least they have for us regulars), for instance, maybe Chicken Almond Ding with brown sauce. You wont be disappointed if you try them.

What a gem in little ol Groveport!! My husband and I went to this place on a whim because we didnt want to drive far and we wanted Chinese takeout. I was very surprised by this place, it was clean, the people are friendly, and the food was actually amazing!! Their eggrolls look hand rolled, and tasted very good. Overall this place is delicious and I will be back!

I travel all over the state for my job, and as a result of that and my love for Chinese food Ive become somewhat of a small expert on the various Chinese places around, especially in Columbus, and I can unequivocally say that Great Wall is my favorite. I especially recommend the General Tsos Shrimp.

We have eaten at Great Wall since it opened. We have always gotten fresh, hot, good food. The people working in there has always been friendly. I think this is the only restaurant to ALWAYS get our order correct!! The prices are very good too!! By far our favorite Chinese Restaurant.

Theres a million of these strip mall Chinese carry outs and most of them are pretty bad. Great Wall is one of the few good ones Ive had. Their pork fried rice, boneless bbq pork, and sweet and sour chicken are all good. Simple tasty inexpensive food served by a friendly family.

Staying one night in Columbus area and this came up close to hotel. I tend to try the same dish at a new Chinese place: General Tsos chicken with Lo Mein noodles and I even tried the Rangoons. Good portion for the combination platter. Decent price and the place was clean.

I love Graet Wall! It dont matter what side of town I move on, the miles are well traveled to get delicious chinese food made in a clean environment. Unlike the many other chinese restuarants that lack the cleaniness and fine taste! I will recommend it to anyone

This restaurant is very clean, and it has super fast service. We have gotten carry out here a few times and not a complaint yet.The portions are large enough to split! The crab ragoon is amazing!

Lindsay & I order 10 pre-cooked shrimp egg rolls every Friday & Saturday night!!! We love them; they have whole shrimp in them. YUM I only wish they would open until 11pm Monday - Thursday.

I have gotten sick from eating there. Super greasy menu with half-cooked meats in large proportion servings (that was the sign). My take out order cost almost $10. It was not worth it at all.

The last couple of times Ive gone there and ordered one of the vegetable dish choices, Ive gotten much more noodles than vegetables. The last time, the spring roll wasnt even cooked well.

Good food, but they dont understand English well enough to get the order right! They are always leaving something requested out, or adding wrong ingredients.

Used to be good.. Now they all frozen stuff and the meat in the wontons is slimy. The chicken is all breading and very little meat. Just terrible!!!!
