Some of it Was Great... The fried wontons were just awful. They were obviously fried numerous times, were tough, and had no flavor. The fried pot sticker dumplings were okay. The War Shu Gai was passable, but the gravy was congealed and somewhat disturbing. I ordered it with fried rice, but received steamed rice. The best part of the meal, and the only item that I will order again was the Pepper Steak. It was amazing and darn near addictive. However, I can only give 3 stars because the bulk of our dinner was not good. The pepper steak alone would have gotten at least 4 stars on its own merit.

Truly a neighborhood gem! I have been going to Hunan J for about a year now. Hunan J is a small family owned/run Chinese restaurant in Lewis Center. All of their food is cooked up fresh to order and they use quality ingredients! They have THE BEST (IMHO) General Tsos chicken and Orange Chicken around. They use big chunks of all white meat chicken and the sauce is awesome. Prices are right. They also cater to your tastes and will customize their dishes!! Check it out, you wont be disappointed. The food speaks for itself.

BEST FOOD IN LEWIS CENTER If youre looking for some delicious food HUNAN J chinese restaurant is the place to go. I always order general tsos chicken, its best I have ever had. My wife is vegetarian and they alter many of their dishes to suited are needs. if you have any special requests, such as more or less in the dishes and you will be accommodated. also there are so many good dishes to fill anyones wishes. must try it. youll like it.

Pleasantly surprised. In the area early Saturday night and we didnt feel like waiting in line at any of the many other Polaris restaurants. It was empty inside except for the steady stream of to-go pickups coming in. Restaurant was clean and well kept. We ordered the crab rangoon, chicken egg foo young, and general tso chicken. All were fresh and very tasty. Well be ordering take out from here in the future.

Loved it. Seriously, Ive been looking for good Chinese food since we moved to Columbus six years ago. Little did we know this place existed right under our nose. The food tastes great, the portions satisfied even my pregnant wifes craving, and the price for it all was very reasonable.

From the outside, it doesnt look like much, but once you get inside nice decor. The chicken fried rice and wor su gai were excellent; they made my pregnant wife happy. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and the service was prompt and attentive. Well be going back frequently.

Love this place. They are always friendly and quick. Much if the same fair from other Chinese restaurants but the meat is better, veggies fresh and good sauce. I always get the kung po and my wife loves the green beans.

We went there for lunch and for under $20 including tip, we got an order of General Tsos chicken an order of the house special fried rice with soup and wontons! It was all very tasty and very freshly made!

Excellent food and ample portions. The sauce used in the Mongolian Beef was delicious, especially if you get it extra spicy. Have gone multiple times and always had a great meal with excellent service.
