I prefer not to return to this establishment. I cant comment on the food experience, because we never got that far. My wife and I visit sushi restauraunts regularly, about twice per month, so we were excited to visit this quaint location about a 1/2 mile north of the wild bar scene on famed "High Street" next to the OSU campus. We called, and they said they closed at 10:30PM. We arrived at 9:40PM and were sat in the small room (approx 4 tables); there is one small room, and one larger room. The boyfriend of the other couple had his head down on the table and his girlfriend was obviously embarrassed. He was very drunk, but not sloppy-drunk, just drunk enough to lay his head down close to pass-out. My wife was uncomfortable, but we decided to press on. We gave our drink order and the passed-out boys leg began to sway out into our tables area (the space between the tables was only 2 feet). My wife asked me if I would move us to the other room which was very large and had 3 couples eating (approx 8 tables). After several minutes of deciding what to do, and perusing through the susi selections, we stood up as the waiter approached our area and we asked to go to a larger table in the other room. that was our kind way of saying "why did you seat us next to a drunk fella passed out at one of your tables, and how about moving us to a more respectable area of your restaraunt"? His reply was "Sorry, but we are closing that section". I was standing between the two rooms, looked at both areas, and then looked at the waiter as if to say "Are you crazy???" But I instead said, you close at 10:30PM and there are people in all areas of this restaraunt, we would prefer to sit in that other room with more room." He mumbled something else that was not satisfactory about preparing that room for closure, so I tossed the menus into his arms and said "sorry for you to lose a good dinner sale" and walked out with my wife. The other 4 or 5 couples were all watching, and it was obvious what happened. This waiter was either really, REALLY stupid, or each and every one of the other couples in the restaraunt were part of some inner-circle clan of mafia-type and they were conducting some no-ggod business, and they were all just waiting for my wife and I - the "outsiders", to leave so they could continue their plans to take over the neighborhood. Hope they succeed, because their ability to grow a customer base doesnt seem very promising.

Let me start by saying their food is one of this towns very best, and yet I am only giving it three stars. This is because of poor service. They officially close at 10 pm except on Friday and Saturday but they "start closing" from 9. That means if you go to their restaurant after 9 pm you are going to be seated in a crubby 10 by 10 room with four tables crammed inside, because they are closing their bigger area. They will be rushing you to order, hovering around your table until you succumb and order whatever. Meanwhile they will be mopping the bigger area using cleaning agents, etc. And if you do not finish eating by 9:55 pm, start praying to God or whatever you believe in because they are going to shoo you out using all kinds of techniques, and if you are impervious to their "subtle" techniques, the "boss lady" will come out and spell it out for you while youre still eating: "We are closing, please finish". You will be still clicking your tongue, enjoying the wasabi on your way out as you acrobatically avoid tripping on the mop and bucket that is passive-aggressively blocking the front door. Yes, we get it, were leaving! Anyway, amazing food, but order take out! :)

Stopped here for lunch, and love pretty much everything about this place. The small, intimate rooms where you eat. The fact this is obviously an old house that someone has remodeled to work as a restaurant. And the FOOD! I love Ive never heard of most of the dishes on this menu. I got a spicy beef bulgogi, which perhaps I should have heard of before, but it was new to me. And SO good. It wasnt as spicy as if been warned (a co-worker had warned me that hed ordered it before and tears were streaming down his face as he ate.) In fact, the spice was pretty mild, but the flavor was full and rich. Im not sure i can place the flavor though. There was a little heat, bit also a nice sweetness to it as well. And the beef was tender and cooked just right. Plus, I finally got up enough courage to try the kimchi that they delivered to our table to munch on while were waited for our food to arrive. Id heard about buried, fermented cabbage, which had put me off. But this was delicious! Great place. Cant wait to go back and try something else new.

My bf introduced me to this place on our second date. It was actually supposed to be our first date but thats another story. I have also fallen in love with place. We were actually just there yesterday. :) Their sushi is great and their Korean food is also great. We had the Jim Chicken (if I can remember correctly). It was chicken cooked in a stone pot with broth and vegetables and rice on the side. We had the sweet version, very delicious. One of the rolls we had was the Sunday Morning roll and that was also great. Their Chap Chey is delicious too! You will always like what you eat here.

Slow, dysfunctional, not worth your money. As a former sushi waiter, this restaurant is an embarrassment to all sushi restaurants. It took them OVER 40 mins to prepare 5 simple rolls to go at 4 pm, when the restaurant was empty. The first chef had no idea how to make the rolls, he wasnt an authentic sushi chef. The second chef had to step in, take over, and finish the order. The rolls were average, not very adequate cuts of fish. Appalling. No customer should have to wait over 40 mins for their food. Absolutely pathetic.

I have been going to this restaurant for many time the food is great but the last couple of time is going down hill service is not that great either. When I pay my bill the boss lady come back and told me I have to give at lease 15% tip, after we just spend about $100 worth of food in the restaurant. she just stand at our table till we give her the money I think that is not right at all, plus only 3 of us only not like a freaking party. If your worker want a good tip should give a better service to customer.

The sushi was excellent, and not very expensive. They have a great selection of sushi as well as Japanese and Korean dishes. The service was pretty good, the place is small so it is easy to get their attention if you want anything. My parents dont like sushi, but the food they ordered was delicious and a very large portion for the money. The bill for 4 people was only $75 and that includes an eight dollar beer (the only thing that is kinda outrageous.)
