Last night was the second time I had eaten at this particular location and I must say that both experiences were poor to say the least. Both times the food was not fresh at all. The presentation of the food was nice but that did not make up for the gross, fishy smell and taste. It tasted old and it was very, chewy sushi. The food alone is enough reason for me not to come here again but along with that, my waitress was rude. I admit I made a mistake when ordering my sushi but when I brought it to her attention and tried to change it, she insisted that I ordered it so thats what Ill be getting and that I couldnt change my order. She wasnt very friendly at all. I never got a refill on my water either. This was one of the worst dining experiences Ive ever had. If I go to Sake ever again, itll be to the one on Miamisburg-Centerville Rd.

I really love the sushi here... And I almost wish that I didn't because the service is so terrible. I had my birthday dinner here with my whole family, and the service was almost unbearably bad. The 1/2 price sushi is usually a good enough reason to put up with bad service for one night- but it wasn't worth it this time. I couldn't even enjoy dinner. The other thing that really irritates me about this restaurant is that there is no place to change a diaper!! That complaint might seem a little random but they have a million high chairs. They obviously try o make themselves seem baby friendly, but without having a changing table or even a usable counter in the bathroom (the sink area is tiny- two sinks with a giant hole in the center going to the trash can) they miss the mark.

I was in the mood for sushi. I had not had sushi since I moved to Dayton in October 2015. I do not think I will come here again. We went midday so it was pretty much empty. Table smelled kind of weird. The miso soup wasnt great. Appetizers were alright. I had the shrimp tempura and my boyfriend had the spring rolls. Then we had our rolls. They werent exceptional or great. They didnt taste terrible and we were not sick afterward. It was filling. The bill was about 51 which was higher than we were used to in Dayton but fine for what we ordered. I definitely will try other places.

Went here Saturday. Good is delicious, love the showmanship. But my whole experiences was ruined by their rude manager. At the end of our experience my boyfriend asked for the check, the manager gets it, but when he brings it back makes the most disrespectful comment Ive ever heard. Looks at my boyfriend and says "what your wife doesnt cook for you at home?". Uh excuse me. Number one not your business, two I cook for my Man almost every night, and three that was just down right disrespectful and degrading. Never going back to this one. Will go to sake by the mall

On my last three visits here the service got worse and worse. The quality of the food also dropped considerably. The latest time, I went during lunch time and waited over an hour to receive my food. The waitress ignored my group for a majority of the time we were there but promptly brought the check immediately after the food arrived. Sima is just down the road and has their sushi lunch buffet for a comparable price. Id recommend going there over this place.

This place is terrible. The only redeeming quality is that the sushi is half price during the week. But you get what you pay for, the fish slice is tiny, the amount of rice is huge and depending on what day you go, some of that fish is fishy. Which means its old. Last time we went we got a shrimp roll that smelled rotten. Person with me almost threw up because of it. Place seems dirty and empty every time I go. The salmon was fresh, everything else nasty.

Lets be honest. You are here for the half price sushi. Best sushi deal in town no doubt, only place I know where you can get 4 rolls for under $10 Mondays through Thursdays. Dont go here expecting top tier sushi quality, but it isnt bad quality at all either - Id probably rate it right in the middle. Certainly worth your time for the price. Staff is always nice. They do take-out as well. What is not to like?

Very enjoyable show. The food was good and the chef was talented. I am Gluten Free and they were very accommodating. They did not add any soy sauce or teriyaki sauce to my food and brought me a bowl of plain rice when I mentioned my allergy and chef remembered through the whole meal. If I go again, I may try to bring my own sauces. That was recommended to by other GFs who have dined here.

I LOOOOOOOVE THIS PLACE.. I always come to this location- the servers are friendly and always make me laugh. I love watching the small show they do while cooking my food. When I go there just for sushi- the servers always ask how my day is going and whats new in my life.. I go there so much they know me by name.. haha... I highly recommend this place.

Mostly a hibachi grill. Ive been here before for hibachi and it was good. This last time I was there for sushi and while it was good, it wasnt anything that blew my socks off. The service was good and the restaurant was clean but it felt run down a bit and was in a rather run down complex. Recommend you stick with the hibachi.

The sushi is very good, and the 1/2 off price Mon-Thurs is awesome...But their service is absolutely TERRIBLE! The waitress was so rude she actually made me angry. I have ate there 2x and both times the staff was rude and seemed like they hated life. I dont think i will EVER eat inside ever again, will only be ordering to-go!

I had excellent service. We rarely go for hibachi, so I cant say that its consistent but I thought I should comment due to the negative review about service. The other chef that was working looked grumpy. Maybe the other reviewer got him.

the food there is not fresh at all. Besides, the half price sushi means that the fish is not fresh, the food quality is really bad. One of the worker there told us that some waitresses were getting aids there!! That sounds terrible.

I go to a lot a sushi places and this is not one ill go back to. Spicy tuna roll tasted odd and they were very stingy with the masago. Rolls were small. Ive had larger rolls for less money. Overpriced low quaulity sushi.

Best service and really good sushi, mind you its not grade A. Other than that it is very affordable compared to other sushi places. They have half off all sushi from Mon thru Thurs. Worth the time and effort to go ;)

Monday-Thursday is half price sushi. The food is already reasonably priced so this is a great deal. Food is fantastic and service is always good. If youre in a hurry but still want good food this is the place to go.

Super friendly folks. Love taking co-workers to lunch during the week for half-price sushi. Always quick and easy. I almost always get some kind of salmon roll and Im never disappointed.
