CHICKEN TOE IN MY FOOD: First time ever trying this place, we ordered General Tsos Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoons. About half way through dinner I take a bite of the General Tsos and nearly choke on a bone, notice its a chicken toe bone with the toe nail still intact! (See photo in uploads). Thankfully it was not my 4 or 6 year old daughters that came across this sharp chicken toe! They couldve choked to death! I nearly did! I couldnt eat anymore I nearly puked. I take the remaining food and the TOE back for a refund (my wife called and was told if we bring the toe wed get a refund) and the lady says so you ate the egg rolls and crab rangoons and half the Sweet and Sour Chicken right, I said yes I was half way through dinner, she then deducted that from our refund. I only received $13 back and I paid $23.86. I told the lady that good customer service would be to give me a FULL refund, she got an attitude with me and refused. I said thats okay Ill just have to let people know about this place. I will never return to this place and Id advise you to never go here either, unless you like to eat chicken toes!

Ordered delivery tonight- Price and potions were fine but the food was abysmal. I just moved to Jackson from KY and been many places around this Country and the World and this is (honestly) the WORST tasting "Chinese" food I have ever eaten. We had The Broccoli Beef dinner and the General TSOs dinner. These were not only awful but had been clearly sitting around for awhile and then tossed in a Microwave. This was bad .

My wife and I get a sweet and sour chicken dinner with fried rice to share, 2 sides of crab ragoons (4 totall) and 2 egg rolls extra. We ask for extra sweet and sour sauce to dip the crab ragoons and egg rolls in. The price is around $11.00 plus tip. There are left overs and it is the best Chinese Restaurant in Jackson, MI for our money ...delicious!

We love the food at lucky cafe and have been eating here regularly for the past 3 years until today the lady who runs this place apparently did like the tip I left she stood by door and ask why I didnt tip her more... I loved this restaurant but I will not ever order from here again..

I have eaten Orange Chicken from several different places and have never had it like this. The chicken was not breaded :( The sauce was very thin and salty, tasted like soy sauce. It was good food, but when I ordered orange chicken I expected a thick sweet sauce and breaded chicken.

The best part of Lucky Cafe is their hot and sour soup. You wont find better soup anywhere in Jackson! The eggrolls are very tasty, and the portions are extremely generous. I like visiting for lunch, since there are specials, and there is often enough to have leftovers for dinner!

I ordered the orange chicken, fried rice and an egg roll. SO disappointing, the chicken had the texture of fried/soggy grizzle and tasted burned. The fried rice tasted old/stale and the egg roll was extremely greasy. I will never, never, never go back there.

I love this place! The food was super good and hot. It was delivered for free. Huge servings! I also like the reusable bowls the food is delivered in. Definitely the best broccoli chicken in Jackson!

I ordered sweet and sour Chicken when I got home I was upset the Chicken was soggy and under cooked also we ordered fried rice and got white rice.Check your food real close when ordering here.

Decided to try lucky cafe for the first time tonight. It took an hour and a half for the food to get here. Everytime I called the guy said the driver just left. Last time I order here.

Food is bland. The chicken wings were hard, bland and too dark like the oil was old or something. They give you a lot if food for the price...soy sauce and hot sauce helped.

Same as most. Tasty and satisfying with good portions for a reasonable price. Only gripe is they never gave us Silverware after carry out. Good thing our Hotel had some.

My wife and I both ended up at the emergency room with projectile vomiting after we ate here. I spoke with them afterwards and they were apathetic. Avoid this place!
