Nice environment, authentic food and cute! What we got: General Tsao ($10), Seafood noodle soup thingy ($13) I had the seafood noodle soup. It was spicy (but you could ask for different level of hotness) and good! Lots of seafood, which you dont see in most Chinese restaurant. Fushion style but very authentic. Quality and quantity of the food is definitely one of the best. Not sure if it is a chain, but they should open more! Price is a tiny little bit on the high side, but its really worth the food. I am Chinese, and I get really excited when I actually come across really good Chinese food. It is hard to come by in Ohio, but I recommend this one!

I am very disappointed!after reading the reviews and checking out the website i was really excited about visisting the restaurant! Although the price was a little high, the plates were large so out was a deal to me. Well after spending 11.00 all i got was have the serving they give when you eat in and the portion i recieved was more onions then steak! I have gotten more food for less money at the restaurant down the street. If i pay the same amount as the people who eat in does then i should recieve the same amountt of food.

First timer and I must say very pleased. Small bistro with a touch of elegance and causal mixed. Not much space but very clean and natural lightning from the large windows facing the main street. The food was made to order and large portions that the prices were well worth it. The spicy fried rice was good along with the green beans and pork dish also. Friendly atmosphere and great service from the staff coming out to your table to check on you. Will be back.

Ginger and Spice is a bit more upscale than most Chinese places in Dayton. The food is not nearly as greasy or fried as you often find. They make it all on premises, so it isnt frozen delivered stuff like a lot of other college town Chinese restaurants. They are very nice, too. Its more expensive than other places, but I think its worth it.

Online ordering is where its at. The order is usually waiting when you get there and if you paid online you just walk right out. Super friendly people working the counter. The food is genuinely awesome every time. If you have a chance to order off the secret authentic menu, do it! You will not be disappointed.

The food is fresh and very delicious! The price is a little higher than other Asian restaurants, but its because they give you A TON of food, so the price is reasonable and worth it. The staff is very helpful. The location is great, with great lighting and a great view of Brown Street. Overall a great experience!

Ginger & Spice is a delicious restaurant. They have the best Chinese food in southwest Ohio. I love both their authentic and Americanized menu options. The staff is very friendly and it is a clean environment. The decor is very modern and clean, it is a must visit spot if you visit Dayton! Very family-oriented.

Wonderful addition to the Dayton foodie scene. Handmade food from scratch and large portions. Tasty hot food with beautiful presentations. This is above average fast casual cusine. Reminds me of some of the up and coming dining places in OTR Cincinnati. Cant wait to go back!

My wife and I get take out from here probably once a week. HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PHENOMENAL! Extremely fast and great taste. The staff is super friendly and even remember their repeat customers by name. I never rate a place with 5 stars but they deserve it.

The cuisine is fantastic. I love the braised pork and spicy pig intestine dishes. They have the classic American-Chinese dishes as well but if you want more authentic Chinese this is the place. The service mirrors the dedication to the food as well.

I decided to try this place since its literally 5 minutes from my house and based on the reviews I thought fantastic, it however was greasy and lacked the Asian flare that I am accustomed to, even the kids were disappointed.

Had the shittake flank steak and the house wontons and was blown away. My only small nitpick is that the fried rice is a bit bland, but everything else tasted fresh and packed with flavor. Will definitely be coming back.

The food is fresh, the place is clean, the prices are within normal range. Can carry out or eat in. Plated meals are big enough to share. When it says spicy, they mean spicy. Be mindful if you dont like too much heat.

Its the best Taiwanese/Asian restaurant in the area. The food is fresh and tasty, and the restaurant is clean. Dont forget to ask for dishes on the Mandarin menu. The only down side is the price is high.

Had the pad thai. Was the worst ive had. It was soupy and soggy. Pad thai should be a pan friend noodle dish, not something that resembles red curry. I got my money back after two bites.
