I went to this place today 5/15/2017 and received the worst service. Our waiter was rude when we first arrived and he didnt seem knowledgeable of the menu. When I asked questions he seemed irritated. I ordered the Stack City burger which is one of their signatures and he was flustered when I asked what was on it. When I finally received my burger it had hair on it through the cheese and the burger, I seen it as soon as he sat it down. The waiter immediately took the burger back and apologized. 5 minutes later he brought out another burger that was fine. At the end our meal me and a coworker decided to order milkshakes after debating back and forth because they were $7.00 for a plain shake. We received our milk shakes and the cups were only 3/4 full including the whip cream. (the cups are like the cups Starbucks serves Frapps in with the dome lid). I mentioned this to the waiter and he just stared at me and then said I know but they typically come in this.... He went and grabbed a 16 ounce glass... I said ok but this cup is also 16 ounces, he argued with me to say that I was wrong and that the to go cup was 18 ounces and that was the reason our cups were not full .Simple solution.... I looked at the bottom of the plastic to go cup.. and of course the togo cup was 16 ounces.I politely got up walked in (we were sitting on the patio) and let them know that their to go cups were 16 oz so there was no excuses /reasons for us receiving 3/4 of a $7.00 milk shake. I would also like to note that throughout this visit, even after seeing hair in my burger the MANAGER never showed their face or even said a word. I am so disappointed and I will NEVER eat there again. I work for Nationwide and my co worker and I have made sure to tell everyone not to go to this place.

We came here for a friends birthday. If you want a good burger, this is the place. I have on good authority the other menu items are pretty solid too but why go to a burger bar and not get a burger!? I had the earth burger but I substituted the burger out for bison. The meat is really juicy and tasty, the bun is soft but lightly toasted and the toppings the put together really work well. They also have an extensive beer menu both on tap and in the bottle. This is yet another great casual place to visit in the short north within walking distance of dozens of other great places to visit after you shovel that big meaty burger down your gullet!

I went here today with my friends for the first time, I didnt really wanna come to a place I hadnt eaten at before and I was right. The waitress was fantastic but the food was the exact opposite. The fries were seperate from the actual burger order, besides that fact, the $4 side of fries was not fresh or salted. I specifically did not want pickles but guess what surprised me with my first bite? Pickles. The crispy chicken sandwich I asked for was extremely crispy, as in burned. The service from the waitress was exceptional, the kitchen is where the problem was. I would not recommend this location.

My husband and I were so excited to try this place, like super excited. We were so disappointed. Our burgers came out overcooked and dry, and the fries were soggy and cold. When my husband brought this to the attention of our server she simply apologized, filled our drinks, and left. My husband rightfully was upset by such a dismissal and went inside to speak with the manager. She did offer to recook our food and agreed the server handled it incorrectly. We chose to leave, though. You only have burgers on your menu; how are you unable to cook them properly every time?

We got takeout. I do not know the name of the lady that took our order tonight, but she was exceptional. Service the way service should be. We both got burgers. The stack city burger was thick and juicy, a little too salty, but overall great. The red, white, and blue burger was dry and the beef was a bit bland. Pretty dissatisfied with that one. The fries were as perfect as they come. I would give it a three or four star had it not been for the wonderful service of the hostess/cashier and what we saw from the other wait staff.

Disappointed with the service. When we ordered our meal the server asked if we wanted fries, onion rings, or chips. What he didnt tell us was that none of these came with the burger. It cost $25 per person for a burger, fries, and a water. I guess the blame could be put on me for not looking more closely at the menu. With that said I still feel like this a shady business practice. Especially considering you could a burger just as good for half the price at a place like 5 guys.

Dont be fooled by all of the fancy buildings surrounding Stack City - your wallet will not whimper at the prices here. Stopped in during happy hour for a burger and a couple of drinks. The food was delicious, and I regretted only ordering the standard size. Bartenders were very attentive - my drinks never ran out and my food was delivered very quickly.

Burger was excellent! However, service was ok. We would have tried shakes but apparently they already cleaned the blender for the night. We were never asked if we wanted anything else. Two tables in the bar an hour before close so I guess dont come later because the general vibe was go home. I would probably t r y again just lunch instead of dinner.

The burger I tried was really good, and the service was great. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area. The only negative is that all sides are a la carte. If Im going out for a burger, paying an extra $4 for a side of regular french fries is kind of a turn off for me personally. Besides that, I really enjoyed this place.

The burgers here are pretty good, and so are the milkshakes. However, the service is really bad. Last time we were there, they misbilled for French fries, drinks, and then the server refused to take responsibility. Had to get manager to make things right. Not such a great experience overall. There is a reason it is rarely busy.

Service was slowest I have seen for burger join. The the burgers were good, but only about average for the high quality standards of the short north area. There are many places in the area that serve the same quality burgers with a larger menu with better side options. Too high end to only have fries as a side option.

It was OK, came late for dinner. Burger was so so, bun was hard and crispy. We sat outside so I am not able to comment on the space, but the service was good and the patio was nice with a view of High St. There are plenty of better burgers around town, but would try it again if someone else wanted to try it.

I ordered Stack City from Grubhub, when it arrived the nachos were missing some ingredients. I called Stack City I spoke to the manager who was very kind and understanding. She offered me a refund without any questions asked. She solved the problem quickly and professionally. Excellent customer service!
