HORRIBLE!!! We decided to give them a try again after over 2 years which we had horrible service at that time. We went Saturday (03/12/16) at 5 PM, which we were prepared for a wait, however we were seated right away. We ordered our drinks and food around 5:10 PM from our waitress, Kayla who was very nice and seemed caring throughout our difficulties. Our food did not come yet after about 20 minutes which is strange. We asked and she assured us it would be coming in a few minutes. Then a family of 4 came in and sat across from us, however a couple previously came in about 5 mins before them. At 30 minutes we again asked Kayla and she assured us once again the food is coming out as the kitchen was backed up some. The couple of 2 got their food within about 10 minutes as well as the family of 4. I once again asked Kayla and she said to let her check and she will be right back. After waiting about 5 more minutes (now we had waited a total of 55 minutes for our food) I went to the front and asked for the manager. So after being there an HOUR, Eric came to our booth and asked us what we needed. We explained all the above and he said, YES there has been problems in the KITCHEN and they had already lost 3 other orders. So he was (as he verbally told us) not sure what was going on and said Im sorry, what else do you need. We said just the bill for the drinks we had ordered over an hour ago at that point and our waitress was getting it. Kayla brought us the bill and again said she was sorry. So then Eric, the MANAGER brought us another bill for the drinks and again asked if we needed anything else again. I just explained that I eat out all the time due to my business travels around the country and I have not experienced such difficulty in ordering food anywhere, at anytime over 30 years + of traveling, nor has my wife over the years. He just said sorry. Offered no discount on the drinks, offered no discount for food for a future visit, just sorry, yes "I (ERIC) know there are problems in the kitchen" after I told him apparently it is clear that he needs an management change of the kitchen!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE, WILL NEVER GO TO AN ON THE BORDER AGAIN! We will continue to give our business and money to; Chueys, El Vaquero and Cantina Laredo!!!

Server was good........but everything else was horrible. We called when they opened at 11:00 the morning of to make a reservation for my birthday dinner (which typically they dont do, but since we had 23 people they appreciated the forewarning and made a 5:30 reservation for us). Just to be safe, my girlfriend and I arrived early at 5:00 to make sure they would have our table ready. We did not expect to be seated at 5, but did expect to be seated by 5:30. We decided to wait at the bar until then. After a majority of our party was already there, we kept rechecking if our table was ready. We did not get seated until about 6:00, despite being told our table was being put together since 5:15. We waited another 25 minutes for our server to finally come back with our drinks. Alcoholic frozen drinks arrived melted and took another 20 minutes to be corrected. About 6:35 we finally ordered our meals. We did not receive any food until about 7:45. Plates came out in groups of 4 or 5, 5-10 minutes apart, and every single persons food was cold. From the time our reservation began at 5:30, we waited over two hours to receive cold food. The manager comped a majority of our partys meals. The biggest disappointment was that due to dinner taking so incredibly long (it had been 3 1/2 hours by the time we left), we had to cancel our after dinner plans with our friends because it was too late. On top of this, the staff forgot that it was my birthday and never came to sing to me, despite us telling them twice. We saw them sing for three other birthday parties while we were there. I understand we were a large party, but we had given them plenty of notice. We witnessed numerous other tables come and go (including another large party) in the time we were there. We were originally told we would have two servers (as we were introduced to two), but only one server was left to take care of us for 95% of the time. I doubt any of the 23 of us will ever return to this restaurant.

This place has the worst mexican food I have ever had. The tables were dirty and sticky. The waiter never filled up my glass of water. The most important part of going out to a restaurant on a weekend is to enjoy food and relax. Well, the food was a disappointment. The tortilla chips and slasa they serve will kill your hunger rather than igniting it. Chips were cold, and some of them were very oily and chewy. The salsa was too watery, too spicy, and didnt tasted fresh. When it comes to entrees, they dont serve plain mexican rice. The rice they serve are more like fried rice with corn in it. The were not cooked well. Some rice were still crunchy and weird. I ordered the enchilladas. They were a disappointment too. The were little cold, and filled with meet that didnt taste were good. The entree came with beans that were cooked ok, but they were not mashed beans, like most of the mexican places serve. Overall, the food was gross, and not tasty at all. I can cook better mexican food myself at home. For the same price, you can go to El Vaquero and enjoy every bit of your meal.

Ive been to OTB many times in the past at multiple locations across the country. The people (I want to say idiots) who say this is the worst mexican food theyve ever had, dont know what theyre talking about. Lets face it Mexican food is not the food of gourmets, but it happens to be my favorite food. I grew up in Texas and I know good Tex-Mex food. OTB is the best of the nation-wide chains. It may not be great; it may not be as great as some mom-and-pop restaurants, but it is very satisfying and very good food. If you think your palate is refined, then dont try Mexican (or Tex-Mex) anywhere. Go to some steak restaurant and spend 5 times as much. While youre at it, pay $50 for a bottle of Cav Sauv instead of $10 or $15 and convince yourself its worth it! Take your snobbery elsewhere. They make Guacamole Live at your table; how can it be too salty? I just wish we had an OTB near us, Id go there every week or so. Just good food, great beer, and fun atmosphere. Cant wait until next week when we get to go back to OTB for first time in months. Ill be smiling ear-to-ear!

If I could rate this zero stars I would. Went in for dinner with mother and my girlfriend in on 12/24/2016. Got seated right away the hostess was very polite we were seated along the back wall next to the door. Our server was Zack he took our drink order right away and brought chips and salsa right out with our drinks. Ordered our food, I ordered the grilled California burrito which I asked for no beans and no rice as well as no avocado ranch on the menu it said served with French fries, I ordered a side salad. Our food came out in a timely manner the burrito had rice, beans and the ranch no fries, the manager came over and I explained what I ordered. He took my plate and said it was going to be corrected, he comes back with the burrito correct with fries, my fries were cold and stale like they have been sitting all day, tried to get our servers attention flagged down another server she said she would take care of it, the manager brought me new fries without apology or anything of the matter. Wont be returning to this location.
