Youre never greeted with a smile, but dont be fooled, they are friendly. Ordering Chinese can be tough because of language barriers, but they are helpful and understanding. This place resides in the ghetto, so theyre used to dealing with the "under privileged". Walking in wearing a suit our high heels might turn some heads. Unless youre wearing hooker boots, then youre in the right place. Dont plan on dining in unless you want to deal with another loud, obnoxious, ghetto mom whos ordering for her 8 kids... while theyre with her. Just get your food and go. But tread softly so you dont accidentally brush shoulders with some local hustlers or drug dealers. The food her is standard Chinese cuisine. Nothing fancy. Theres no signature dish, or anything they do better than anyone else. There hot and sour soup is horrible though. Id recommend staying away from that. General Taos is decent. A bit sugary though. Supposed to be a spicy dish. At least their rice isnt crap like panda express. Always hot food though. Oh, and they sometimes smile after you pay. This place has been there for years, and they do pretty good business. Not sure why they dont use the money to upgrade their dining are. I guess its pointless to provide a nice dining experience on the south end where itll be destroyed by manorless, ghetto fabulous, never-going-to-grow-up, charity cases.

Weve been ordering from Eastern Wok for several years and most of the time the food is good. However, today, it was not. The Mongolian Beef tasted like coffee (???) and the Chicken Chow Mein was terrible; the onions looked old and dingy on the edges, there was very little chicken in the dish and they forgot to add (we got take-out) the crispy strips that normally comes with the chow mein. This was not an enjoyable meal at all and Im really disappointed. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but once is all it takes for me and I wont be ordering from them again because I dont want to take the chance that our next order will be just as awful.

Prices are more than reasonable, 20 bucks can feed two people for three days if you know what to order. The food is always fresh, and I have minimal complaints. However, be forewarned, the options with fried chicken, such as General Tsos, can come tough and chewy - this can come from overcooking, though, so its not a health concern by any means. The decor is outdated, as are the menu boards, but it also adds to the charm of the place. All in all, a great place to eat.

The food is ok, nothing really stuck out to me. It tasted like any other chinese counter service resteraunt. The atmosphere is not good. The table where at sat seemed clean enough but the lighting and yellowing of the walls and ceiling tiles (from years of grease?) gave the place a dingy feel to it. The staff seemed friendly. All in all its alright but nothing makes it stand out from the pack.

This is a family owned and managed business that consistently produces well prepared and exceptionally fresh cuisine. You might be fooled by the standard linoleum floor and fluorescent lighting, but there is a certain type of skill and love that goes into producing their cuisine. Good vegetarian options too- try the Orange Tofu!!

I love this place, they are very friendly. I have never had a problem understanding them or them me. this is definitely not the ghetto. I have lived in this part of town over 50 years. I love their Orange chicken. when I am sick I always get their hot and sour soup it is awesome. so dont believe some want to be food critic.

The e-ton wok is my favorite Chinese food place in Columbus, OH. Its small, but very clean and professional. Food is super hot and stays very hot for at least 2 hours. Its hot! (but good hot). Been going here for at least a decade. Its that good. Ive never tasted such good fried dumplings and Crab Rangoon anywhere else!

Ive been going here for years. I like it a lot better than the other Chinese restaurant on the other side of the parking lot. Good food, decent prices. Its not in the ghetto like another poster would have you believe. Its not the best part of town, but its not a horrible part if town either.

I will never go back here again after spending over $20 I forgot to get our drinks so we ordered them and went to pay for them with our card and they refused and wanted us to spend another $10 what a joke!!! Their food is ok but Customer Service and how you treat people goes a long way.

The lowest prices for the best food. There are 4 Chinese places where we live but, we would rather drive to The Eastern Wok! Their food is delicious and they are one of the only places that offer combo meals at any time of the day! My favorite since I found it 2004!

Its been 2 years since I started getting carryout from here. Their portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. Ive never had a problem with order modifications and they seem to get orders out quick.

One of the better Chinese places I have eaten at! Their Cashew Chicken is the best I have ever had. The food is made quickly and the restaurant is clean. I definitely recommend Eastern Wok!

Good but the pad thai was too salty for my dining compainion.. they happily made another dish. The general tso wasnt spicy at all.. $19 for 2 entrees. Would recommend if in the area.

I grew up in NYC and eastern wok, in my opinion is the Chinese fast food that closely resembles that taste
