We stopped by to look at the store on Sunday when we were running other errands in Clifton. We guessed the store wasnt open but Id heard so much about their products, I just wanted to put a location together in my head with the already-positive reputation. We were so surprised when a gentleman, later found to be the owner, opened the serve on the sidewalk window and offered a sample even though the store was technically closed. With that simple gesture, along with the wonderfully-lasting taste of toasted coconut, Gaslight Gourmet has earned a customer for life. Thanks for being such a great addition to the gaslight area- well be back soon!

Crossing my fingers that this new addition to Clifton does well. However, for a business that has cookie in their name, Id say that its fair to expect more cookie options (and to be honest, Im not sure gourmet is the best choice of words to describe the cookies that Ive had from here on 3 separate occasions.) I hope they can find a niche/improve their business model, especially with Graeters and Insomnia nearby. As a clifton resident, i was hoping this review wouldve been more positive.

Absolutely the best coconut macaroons ever. But its even better than that all the cookies they have are great like cherry macadamia, oatmeal raisin, and peanut butter chocolate. Every cookie I have tried are the best homemade cookies anywhere!!!! I highly recommend trying Gaslight Gourmet Cookies.

Im a sweets fiend and I have to say their sugar cookies may be the best Ive ever eaten! The chocolate chip were good too, but nothing spectacular like the sugar. Friendly service. Would like a larger selection of cookies though!

The owner Tom let me come in and get cookies for my wife who had just had our baby at the nearby hospital! Amazing service and quality! The macaroons are delicious!

Cookies are delicious. The only reason it doesnt get five stars is I think the price for a cookie is a little steep. If the prices were lower Id visit more often.
