I returned an item that was a birthday gift and the cashier scanned the item, said he put the balance back onto the credit card even tho I gave him a gift receipt. I explained it was a gift and asked for store credit he rudely told me that it was already on the credit card. I again explained that I gave him a gift receipt and even explained the purpose of a gift receipt. After an eye roll he stated that gift receipts are just in case you lose your original...I continued to push as I felt that was not correct. He told me we would not continue to talk about things that are irrelevant he then crumpled the receipt and gave me a gift card. I spoke to the manager before I left the store and he was very polite and apologetic and assured me he would use this as a teaching moment to correct the issue. The store was clean organized and has a good selection of items.

Meijer is the best superstore in selection, quality, and usually price. They have a huge variety of produce, all of which is fresh and vibrant. They typically have great sales on products I actually need, instead of stuff nobody wants. The parking lot is huge, carts are well kept, staff is friendly, offer self checkout and traditional checkout. The lines are usually very short. Meijer stocks better quality products and a greater variety than Walmart or Target. The bathrooms are clean and actually have a baby changing station in the mens restroom. Meijer has done a great job staying current and innovative. They have a great rewards program and give coupons at the time of checkout. The registers all accept all nfc payment technologies including apple pay and android pay. This is not true for any other superstore.

On Thursday 4-6-2017 i went down to the Fairfield Meijer store for a total of 24 hours. While down thire the empolleeys treated me very well i praise the empolleeys that treated me well and they where so kind and nice. The management needs a little more work on how they treat their guest at a the Fairfield ohio store but everything eles went very well and sweet. Down at the Fairfield ohio stroe they have a wine tasting booth once awhile thr milk is a $1.69 a gallon right now think throw out the month of September, i picked out a new pair of

Between the 2 other grocery stores in the area (forest park Wal-Mart and Kroger), I guess this is the best option, but theyre terrible about keeping their shelves stocked and within the sell by date. Never bothered me too much, although its pretty bad, until I started buying baby formula there. 3 different times Ive found expired formula on their shelves. This store will sink to any low to save a buck. Pretty sick..

Bathrooms are absolutely revolting. No registers open at 7am. 4 cashiers and a customer service employee watched as I "U-scanned" 72 items, all while they talked about how drunk they had been the night before, how they hated their jobs, and discussing how long their pre-break break was going to be. Apparently $291.95 doesnt warrant this Meijer opening a register. Be warned this place is a dump.

No one at photo nor electronics. Had to go find an employee stocking clearance items around the corner in the area where toys and housewares were. He was very pleasant and helpful. My rating was not a 3 for this reason. Other people looking for someone to help them left in that amount of time. Usually I have always found someone back there to help me in the actual electronics area.

I wish they would hire more cashiers as I always dread the check-out process. Id give five stars if not for that. They never seem to have more than three cashiers at a time, and even the self check-out lanes are backed up more often than not. Best to go very early in the morning, or late at night. Otherwise, I have no issues with this location and visit frequently.

Easy to find large grocery and more store. Unlike other stores of this nature groceries are on the left and the pharmacy is on the right, with clothing, jewelry, shoes, and home-goods (which has all the necessary immediate items one may want) in the center of the store. There is a good size auto department as well. We find shopping there quite easy.

Re; Recent purchase of "Meijer Tall Kitchen Bags" (80/box). Difficult to open bag prior to inserting in container . Bag(s) dont open fully with normal effort. sides of bag are stuck together.Requires xtra effort to prepare bags. Normally, Meijer brands are OK. This is exception. Meijer is my store of preference. Most experiences are positive.

My one-stop-shop if I need some quick groceries. The deli has a good selection. Meijer always runs specials that even beat out Walmart in price like their 10-for-$10 deal or their lunch meat and cheese on sale. Everything is easy to find since they dont constantly re-arrange like some grocery stores do (looking at you, Kroger).

Good place to stock up on items they run often. Only catch is you usually have to buy multiple items to get the savings. Their everyday prices are a little higher than WalMart, but a much nicer place to shop. Their Mperks program is a little more complicated than l prefer. Wish they would go to cards like Kroger does!

There are certainly bigger, newer Meijers, but in general Meijer is our favorite grocery store. It has the second cheapest food around (Aldis is the cheapest). Warning though, our fish got a parasite from this store, and we got Malaysian trumpet snaps when we bought plants (we actually wanted those though).

I slipped on thawing veggitables that were all over the floor and there were no signs up warning customers of the danger. I had to go to the ER luckily it was just a sprain knee. However Im in pain in my right leg and both shoulders and my back from Meijers negligence. They will pay my medical bills!

Shopping late at night they are out of stock often. They dont always carry what Im looking for. Preferred over competition in the area, much better prices and less waiting in line. Expect to wait even longer on weekends. Produce at night is something left to be desired but typically OK in the day.

Some of the sale items were out of stock. The line at the deli was so slow I gave up on buying lunchmeat. And to top it off, the security buzzers went off for me and the person infront of me. I purchased a nonfood item and had to root through my bags to find it before I could leave.

I went to the Deli to get some fried chicken And when I start to eat it I realized that its mainly just Batter, Fat and little bite size meat on the Bone... It was just Nasty.. I was disappointed. It Looked Good but just a waste Of customer & store money & time frying it

By far the worst customer service and overall shopping experience. Because of this store and customer service my my credit cards were cancelled and I will never give my money to this crooked corporation. A letter will be sent to their corporate office and the BBB.

Good merchandise at a great price. Always have had excellent service, even when making returns. This store is really a gem. My only complaint is that they never seem to have enough checkout lanes open, especially when several of the self-checkouts are out of order.
