I would have to say that my experience tonight was less than average and very disappointing. I had been working with marketing rep of Cock n Bull for the last 2 months to organize a networking event with 50+ people. At times while working out the details, it took her over a week to get back with me. She also promised special pricing for drinks and appetizers for the group, which where no different than the regular happy hour specials. Finally, the servers blatantly tried to overcharge me for an extra beer, which after complaining, was removed from my receipt. In my opinion, this is no way to treat any customer, especially a large networking group of potential repeat customers!

My boyfriend and I dined here this past Sunday, August 25th. We had always dined at the Mainstrasse location, so we wanted to try something different. The food was excellent, as always, but the service was extremely disappointing. We were never greeted upon our arrival. Nearly every employee in the restaurant glanced as us, then immediately went back to what they were doing, as if we didnt exist. We mustve stood at the host stand for at least 5 minutes, without ANYONE in the restaurant even acknowledging us. We are an interracial couple, and we were not sure if it was due to that fact or not. We just knew that both of us were deeply offended. Not sure if we will be back.

We went to this location for the first time on Sunday. We got a table right away and placed our order. The server took or order and brought our drinks and then it seemed like it took forever to get our food. We ordered an appetizer which did not come out until they brought our food. It was okay but I think it should have been out much sooner. I am sure the server only had one table but he did not seem to be around to see if we needed anything. He did not even stop back to see if we needed our drinks refilled. The person who brought our food did that and then they did not take away the empty glasses. Other than the poor service the food was pretty good.

A tacky cheap pretend pub with generic food that could easily be some random Cisco or Conagra store. Terrible service... waited 35 minutes for food without wait staff checking in to top up water, apologize for delay, or give and update on the order. The manager was told by waitress we were unhappy and didnt birthday to stop by. One brought condiments or checked our food was ok. We were offered "more water" or a discount. E were given 20% off and told we only waited 25 minutes since the order was put in (disregarding the 10 minute delay in placing order with kitchen). Atmosphere abyssmal and food mediocre with terrible wait ... dont bother.

Very little Irish fare on the menu. The atmosphere was much brighter then expected. Service was on point, but Morgan seemed to want us to leave quickly, even though we were eating appetizers, and drinking bar drinks, before our entrees. She dropped the check without offering dessert, and then tried to pick up the check before we had put anything in it. Mind you, we had been here a little over a half an hour. Again, a little rushed... Great beer selection, fish and chips was decent. Probably will not return.

I want to like this place since its right down the street, but Ive never really enjoyed going there. The food is only so-so (at least the things Ive tried, which are what the wait staff tend to recommend, like the fish and chips); no one in my family prefers their food. While the beer selection is decent, Ive never found the service to be more than passable. Its nice to be able to sit outside and have a beer right on Hyde Park Square, but that seems to be about the extent of this C&Bs attraction.

I was looking forward all week to eating at the cock and bull,but was very disappointed,I got the "award winning fish and chips".well the fish at long John silvers is much better the fish had zero taste the chips were coated fries they were terrible, my partner got the blt on pretzel the pretzel was the only thing that was good it had 12 strips of bacon one wilted leaf of lettuce on it and a slice of tomato the size of a quarter. Needless to say we wont be back.

Great beers, good service from waitress. But you can forget about the listed "hours of operation" because they make it up as they go. And yes I was basicslly told this. Does it matter if Im from out of town and met a friend here for drinks and in the middle of finishing our last flight samplers? No. Get out. Bullshhh. Have never had this happen at any other place. Period.

It was the worst service i have ever had i came in for lunch sat at the bar had to ask the barmaid for a menu ordered was never asked if i wsnted something to drink had to wave her down for an iced tea someone else brought my food no silverware or napkins saw a wait station had to get my own i left a 36 cent tip witch wad to much but it made my bill even do not go there

Sat for 15 minutes, literally and was never greeted. Bartenders stood nearby chatting and servers were spotted using their phones in the back. Emailed restaurant with complaint and never even received a response. 15 minutes wasted when the restaurant was not even busy (5 tables sat, tops), no greeting, no drinks, no food, no response to my email. We left.

Good selection of beers. The cocktail I ordered was awful. Ask bartender to maybe add something to give more flavor. Whatever he added did not back it better. Waited over 40 minutes for our food on a very low key afternoon. Fish and chips were served burned. Will not be back. Need to say our waitress was very nice.

Great beer selection, and plenty of specials throughout the week to keep you coming back. I recommend Thursdays for Pint Night (you get to keep the glass after drinking the choice beer of the night). Its a British themed restaurant, so I ordered the fish and chips - wasnt disappointed.

Definitely NOT the same as the C&B in Covington. Its the Hyde Park, sanitized version. People even bring their kids here. The outdoor seating is nice, but the inside tends to get really loud. Service is so-so.. Overall - there are better places to go to in the area.

Nyckhialeah provided the greatest service Ive had in an American-bristish style public house. The fish and chips brought me back to browsing Harrods and walking across tower bridge. The smells and taste will remind of of being back across the Ole pond.

Fish and chips are great. Outdoor seating is great. Nice addition to Hyde park square. Can definitely get loud inside but its a pub so this is to be expected. Have taken my small kids here many times. They have a blast sitting outside and eating

Staff was friendly & seating was available on Saturday evening. Fried fish was good and the portions of that were big. Aside from that though, the food selection wasnt anything spectacular. Veggie side was very small and not great. Beer was pricey.
