The absolute WORST FREAKING BAR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. However, if youre looking for a place where everyone is related and the average weight is 350 pounds this place is for you! I swear, it was like they took the most disgusting people in a 50 mile radius and stuck them in one place. I didnt care about that though, the only reason that I went is because I was dying to sing karaoke and they were the only place that had it on a Friday night. Well, now I know why. I was there for three and a half hours and sang once. JUST ONCE! The rest of the time I had to suffer through a bunch of hillbilly cretins screeching through the pa system. And it was SO LOUD! I had to go up and talk to the karaoke guy twice and I still didnt get to sing a second time because he s a drunk piece of crap who lets the same 5 people sing over and over again, probably because they all have the same baby trailer momma. I literally left flicking off the whole bar, and on my way to my Jeep I was looking for rocks to throw at the windows. I would not go again EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I havent had the same experience as any other reviewers. My husband and I recently moved to West Chester and we go to the village tavern frequently. We have a great time always. The service is friendly, the prices are great, and the karaoke is VERY entertaining...but shouldnt that be what karaoke is? It isnt too loud...its a bar. And if you dont get to karaoke more than once, maybe theyre sending you a gentle message.

This place was the perfect dive bar. Not too big, full of locals, all dressed casually and there to have a drink. It had a super welcoming vibe and I immediately felt at home. The patrons were friendly and I ended up chatting with a couple ladies standing nearby. The prices were great and the food smelled and looked pretty tasty. I would return here if in the area.

I think the village is a great place I have had many fun times there and the karaoke is always great with Lisa in Jimmy and the beer the draft beer is always good and cold. I cant think of a funner place to be like Tuesday or Friday night. the bartenders are great and they give you great service and hardly have to wait for a beer

Food was fresh and tasty, multiple tvs, beers were cold. However the only reason I gave you 4 stars was a loud and obnoxious patron. I think he was a local because the bartender knew him well. But she kept serving him. I even saw a couple other people leave because of this person. Overall, I would come back...

was there on sat night for karaoke...... had to leave by midnight because it was tooooo loud...... literally. My ears were ringing when I left. I used to be a DJ and have never had to leave b/c my ears hurt.

This place is an all around friendly place to hang. and a bunch of girls playing the bowling game in the corner were very entertaining they made my night I could not stop smiling.
