I came from Keller because I read great reviews and was totally disappointed. The salmon sushi was dry, and flat. I thought the salmon might be a piece of ginger so I went back to read the sign, nope it was Salmon. The food was cold, and I thought it was my imagination till I heard the woman at the next table complaining about the same thing , and complaining loudly. Which embarrassed my grandson. Some of the food we had was obviously stale, as the shrimp tempura sushi had separated. The beef and broccoli was tough and all the beef and chicken dishes seemed to have the same one-note. While the staff was polite and friendlly , they did not clear the empty plates. The place seems to have a steady clientele, which surprised me, but the price was really reasonable. However, it doesnt matter if the price is good if the food leaves something to be desired. I really wanted to like this place, but left bewildered and disappointed. I was expecting a totally different experience from the reviews, perhaps there are other days that are better. Maybe a Tuesday night is the worst night to go, which again doesnt say much. I hope that the food gets better because I think theyre really nice and Id like them to succeed but I wont be visiting anytime soon.

Pretty decent place and food. Good variety in several banks of buffet. They have a couple times in the day with reduced rates including a late lunch from 2:00-3:30 and dinner before at 3:31-5:30. Happy Hour Prices in June 2017 are $5.99 and $7.99 respectively. Prices in the evening are much higher. I recommend you make use of the discounted times. The seafood, specifically Shrimp (fried and unshelled steamed) are very good. The fried fish is so-so. The Mogolian beef and another kind of beef (I wasnt sure what it was) were good. They offer steamed, fried, one other rice but that raises two things. The labeling is poor. You often have to look at the offering and ignore the labels because the signs are inacurate. Also, the steamed white rice wasnt where the other two rices were. We also sampled the sushi. Being a buffet, we didnt expect much and were pleasantly surprised. It was good, not great, but good. In summary... Good and a good value during Happy Hour. Check out the website for coupons.

This is by far the best and cleanest Asian buffet in the area and one of the best I have been to by far. My husband and I decided we might try it out. We had been unsure because of experiences at other buffets in the past and it was a little over a hour before they closed. When walked in we met Louis and requested to look before we made our decision. He was so friendly and showed us around. The food smelled so good and fresh, Plus the restaurant was very clean so we had to try it out. At first I didnt see sweet and sour chicken, so I asked, not only did Louis show me where it was but he also when to the kitchen and brought some super hot and fresh chicken to our table. With every bit I was happy about our decision and I will most definitely be happy to go back. I sat at the window seat and saw Louis treating every customer with kind smile and respect. You can tell this place cares about its costumers by the friendly staff, clean establishment, and the quality of the hot fresh delicious food.

I would give a lower rating if I could. Fyi the owner louie will request customers for good reviews and give discounts(coupons) for doing so. My husband and myself have been going here for over a year, it used to be fresh and delicious. This is not the case the last few times we have gone, it keeps getting worse and worse, not just the food but the service as well. If you come on the weekend for crab or seafood, good luck! They will only put out small amounts, not very frequently so it make for a thunderdome experience just tring to get some. The last time we went was a Sunday afternoon and we were there for over a hour waiting for some fresh food that never got replenished. The tables and floor are dirty and sticky. Our server had been trying to rush us out after only being there 15min and continued to get more hostile as we stayed. My water had a grease film on it. Its just gross. Please dont waist your time or money, way to much good chinese food in the area to waist it on this place.

To be honest, being my first time here and having tried about 59 other buffets here in dfw... This place is top of the heap. I tried 17 different things on their menu and all of it was hot and fresh. All of it neat and clean on the bar. Staff was overly friendly and wanted to make sure our experience was flawless and indeed it was. I called to verify their hours on this 4th of July and before I hung up the guy was singing on the phone. Was funny friendly and absolutely loved it! Drinks never went empty for more than a minute and boy are they PACKED! ALL in all, after experiencing the "Asian King buffet" up here in Hurst I think it is.... I dont think I could eat at another buffet. Thats how perfect this place is. Have A Happy and Safe 4th of July, everyone! TJ

In my opinion this is the best Chinese buffet in Fort Worth. Its not too expensive and they have a huge and delicious selection of nearly everything you could possibly think of. My personal favorite is the hot and sour soup. Its extremely good. Sometimes I go there and just buy a quart for takeout and do that for dinner by itself. Its that good. Also, theres a huge variety of seafood, and all of it fresh and cooked to perfection. The servers are all Chinese and so there is a bit of a language barrier there at times. But the service is still excellent. In response to someone elses complaint about waiting on the check every time - Ive eaten here at least a dozen times now and never had that problem, or any other, for that matter. 10/10 would def recommend...

Great food, but the HIKED their prices the last time I was there, and it is really not worth going anymore. Its as expensive as going to a more formal restaurant, somewhat. Considering the portions from a buffet, it makes more sense to just go to a regular restaurant. The whole point of a buffet, to me, is youre paying something like $6 to $8, and youre getting a lot of value. But when they charge $12 to $15, plus tip, then its not worth it. I get more food at my local Chinese place for about $7, and I can take it home, no problem. I love buffets, and its nice to eat out with people, but theres gotta be more value, or Ill just go somewhere else.

My family eats here 4 or 5 times a month. The Staff is amazing and the manager is awesome. He sings and makes you feel welcome and keeps you entertained. The buffet is always kept fully stocked with fresh hot food, and always clean. The hibatchi grill is always clean and the cook is always friendly and professional!! The restrooms have always been very clean and this is a huge plus at any restaurant. This is our favorite place to eat and I would highly recommend Asian King Buffet to anyone who wants an excellent variety of food, great service, a comfortable place for you and your family to eat lunch or dinner and very reasonably priced too!!!
