I live near "The NR Pub" and have been there several times. Their food is always better than youd expect for a "pub" and their staff is, literally, among the friendliest Ive EVER encountered. Very attentive, funny, and theyve ALL been working there a long time – which in itself says quite a lot. I gave it a "good" on decor compared to restaurants as a whole, but for a pub/bar, its great. DEFINITELY recommended!!

Had an apple salad and added chicken for 3.95. Chicken had a strange aftertaste, did not eat it and mentioned to the server. Asked the server to subtract the chicken from the check which the server, by request of her manager Julie, initially refused to do. Only after our insistence did the manager agree to the reduction. It is not about the money but not a very positive experience to say the least.

The food here is rather good and I have been impressed on occasion. They would get four stars except that I have had some rather bad service at times. My wife and I went recently and sat in the bar area. We waited, with empty drinks while the bartender talked up some girl sitting at the bar for a long time. As long as a good wait staff is working, you will get a good meal here at a good price.

NR Pub is a favorite of mine and my wifes. They have a great varity of foods and flovors so its pretty easy for us to agree on no matter what we are craving. My favorite has to be the meatloaf (a half portion is plenty). We have always had great service from their friendly staff. There are also several TVs in the restaurant so you can catch a game with friends.

My husband and I discovered the NR Pub early last year. We have been a number of times and really enjoy eating there. The staff are very friendly, the bartender (I cant remember her name) is great! Shes knowledgeable and mixes a great martini! The food is very good and we both think the cost is quite reasonable for this area. This is our "go to" place.

Been coming here off and on for years. Went in today, sat at the bar. Total of 4 customers, so the place wasnt busy. Bartender ignores me, walks past me to the end of bar and gets comfortable and chats with some regulars. I sit there for a few mins and walk out. Not going back, too much competition out there to put up with that.

Great little pub, in north raleigh if you are looking for somewhere to try for lunch. Food is good and has a decent selection. The place is tiny though so definitly dont go there with a large party. The service can be good or lacking depending on which waitress you get. On the whole though its a great lunch stop.

I love this place. My mom lives down the street and we go all the time. The bartender is super friendly and always talks to me about his dog, as I have a dog too and we treat them like children! The staff is super friendly and fast and the food is good. The atmosphere of the place is the best part.

the service was slow. There were more french fries on the plate. Than the small hamburger. the prices are moderate and many good items to choose from. The fries were salty. The service was slow. We not leave a tip. The decor was good. The small drinking glass. Beverages are expensive.

One is the best restaurants around. I have had almost everything on the menu. The food is consistently good and the prices are very reasonable. After you finish eating, be sure to stop in to that awesome Hallmark store next door.
