I must say this was a back up to the place we intended to go but they were closed for maintenance issues. I was very pleasantly surprised at the experience we had at Spirits. Waitress was attentive and available when needed (we split an Asian salad that was a nice larger size that needed a second order of dressing...I like a little salad with my dressing). The onion soup was hearty in size and flavor, and best of all I often find onion soup to be really salty, this was perfect. My guests wings were huge tasty and very fresh tasting (I jumped at the offer to try a taste of them). As a Craft Beer snob I also enjoyed their selection of beer. Overall atmosphere was clean and well staffed. The sports bar feel was decent and pricing not bad either. All in all the Spirits Pub gets my return business for sure!

There are very few good bars in Cary and most of the good ones are chains. Its refreshing to go to a pub thats not only got a great bright/cheery bar with friendly bartenders, but the food is awesome! Not sure why there are complaints about the prices - when you eat at a chain, the food is cheaper, but its also much lower quality frozen-then-microwaved fare. This is a privately owned bar/restaurant with fresh delicious food and the prices are appropriate, IMHO. Favorite thing about Spirits Pub besides the food is the fact that the bar is HUGE - allowing a guaranteed seat no matter the hour. Cant say that for other local bars/pubs. We love Spirits Pub!

Awful experience! Went there for new years eve, service was slow....when leaving the restaurant saw all of the servers and managers sitting down in the back talking and playing on phones. i took a bite of the burger to find it was very under cooked. When burger returned, it was the same patty (bite mark still there) and this time it was completely over cooked and inedible. Manager offered to make another burger but I didnt have 30 minutes to wait on it. Still had to pay for burger than I took 2 bites of. We have enjoyed this place in the past....very disappointed on this encounter and probably wont be back because of it.

Spirits is an excellent place to relax and watch a game. The food is more creative than your typical pub fare, especially their multiple twists on mac and cheese. Ive eaten about half the menu and have yet to run across something I dont like. The beer selection is another plus. Lots of local brews on tap and a wide variety of bottles. I usually come around lunch time because it does get quite crowded at night.

Really like the place. Not as stuffy as the previous restaurant in this spot. Lots of TVs, great food and very attentive staff. The prices are about 10-15% higher than other comparable restaurants. It would be a good move to offer a childrens menu for families so we dont have to order off the main menu (portions too large for kids, expensive). We would definitely eat here more if place was cheaper.

This place was horrible I ordered lime chili tocos with corn tortillas and I only got like 3 nice pieces of steak on the tocos and the meat or sauce that they added was sweet was not expecting that I wanted corn tortillas and they give me flower the rice and beans I think where just microwaved and usually when something is piping hot that indecates that the food was microwaved will not go again.

First time my family and I visited the service was great and the food was good. A bit overpriced but still pretty good. We came back on a somewhat busier night and had a terrible experience. Our waiter...name starting with a j..Jason, Jordan, one of those, was horrible. He took FOREVER to bring our drinks and was not in the least bit polite. Most likely will not be going back.

Last time my family and I ate here the food was a bit pricey but amazing nonetheless! However, the atmosphere and service was not so great. It's not a family type place which would be my own fault going there considering it's a pub. Our server(male), was slow and not polite in anyway.

Menu has a great selection with interesting options. The top layer of Loaded Nachos was really good but the under layers were just chips. The inside and patio atmosphere were nice. Its in a crappy part of Cary but they did a good job of cleaning up their space.

Spirits is distinguished by a much more imaginative menu than most pubs, a friendly staff, nice local and national beer selection, and plenty of specials. Ive been a regular once a week for a couple of years and almost always have a great experience there.

Good beer selection - they have Bells Two Hearted Ale on draft. Waitstaff are typically fast and attentive. Food is good, but they use tilapia in their fish sandwich. A travesty not to use cod or haddock, in my opinion. Their burgers are decent.

The regular menu has something for any craving (except pizza). Full bar, craft beer. The staff is excellent (and I eat here often and its always excellent). Prices are fair, imo. My crew call this place "skinny bar" because of its unique layout.

Absolutely my favorite place for burgers. Cooked to odrer, good blend of seasonings, made from scratch sauces. Tonight was the Spirits Smokey Burger, outstanding! Attentive, and prompt service totally on top of keeping my Mountain Dew full.

Great burgers and onion rings. I mean GREAT. With outstanding service at the bar and tables the menu is more then burgers and it all looks good. The Bar is a good place to watch sports and enjoy the best burger in town. #Local Guides

Incredibly loud. Great food but dont plan on having a conversation with the people at your table. Even if you are there between games, the tvs stay at full volume so you get to listen to commericials and news during your dinner.

Its a little pricier than other options but the kitchen here is the best of any bar around cary with a rotating menu and options of many types. Great outdoor seating and service. Small ish TVs for sports but easy to overlook.

best pub in cary ever. not thats a high bar, food primo.if slightly inconsistent. service has away to go. "do you need change" is lame. i decide the tip.that said the rest of carys so called sports pubs might as well close.

This place is fantastic. The Hostess at the bar is wonderful and very gracious. Food is top served and delicately made. Fantastic service, everyone knows everyone and thats what makes it a very cozy place.

These folks are great. Beth is a super nice bartender and the food is really good too. They have different stuff each month so there is always a reason to come back every month. Thanks guys!

Been going here for a few years now. Mostly for the wings, they do monthly wing sauces which are always a hit with me. Beer selection is good as well. The caesar salad is also great!
