Havent been here for the buffet in years. Usually in a hurry & just call in an order To-Go (salad or a special plate), then just run in quick to pay for the order, and take it home to eat. Dined In around lunch-time yesterday. The large food variety has always been Great!! The AMAZING thing is how organized & in-sync the staff was. I believe there were 3 birthday partys, some type of Veterans meeting, all the Sunday after church groups, PLUS the average everyday people just having lunch. The place was FULL... With No Chaos! Everyone was happy. The staff was steady & busy. Every single dish was kept up with a steady supply. Actually I was looking around TRYING to find something wrong or out of place or an unhappy customer... NOT ONE!! The food was great...just as great as I remembered. Only problem I had, was the price. Well, I was treated to lunch by a friend... but still. It was 2 Adults & 1 child. I know its "All You Can Eat", but a 9yr old child can only eat so much, I had only one plate & was FULL... the same with my friend. It was GREAT food, GREAT service and we were all FULL. But for $45 ?? I think thats a little high for 2 adults & a child to eat lunch. That amount of money would feed my daughter & I, all 3 meals, almost all week at home. Im sure Ill go back... because the food & service was great and it was a comfortable environment. But I think I remember now why I was calling in just a plate or a salad for so many years.

Went to this golden corral 9/16/16 got my normal salisbury steak mashed potatoes and meat loaf, I got half way through eating and realized my meat loaf and salisbury steak were raw on the inside. I asked one of the waitresss if it looked raw to her she said yes and took my plate before I could say anything else. So I shrugged it off and went back for some sausage, pizza and fried chicken. I bit into my sausage and it was raw as well. I took the sausage to the manager (tall guy with gray hair) and asked him if it looked raw to him. He said it could be?? I assure you it was. I then told him other food was raw that I ate a lot of, he asked me if i got some of the meatloaf as well. before I mentioned what I had eaten. So this says to me that he was aware of the raw meat at his buffet. About 2 years ago my wife and I went here for breakfast and discovered a cock roach squished under the pepper shaker.I am disgusted with their lack of character and disregard for public safety. I will never eat at this place again

The food is good but the place is infested with roaches. I know of four people not including myself that have encounter seeing roaches at the buffet bar. Thats ridiculous and nasty, they should close the place down and hire Terminix to clean up the place. Once they handle that problem then they can open back up. It should be against the law to sell food if the place is infested!!

No shocker on the menus here, just about the same as all the Golden Corrals. Most of the time the food is nice and fresh, although I would avoid slow times as they tend to cut the temperature down on their steam tables (NOT a good idea for health codes) and the food is cool. As long as it is crowded, their service is good and the food is good. Not great, but worth a stop.

This is your Perfect Family restaurant. Employees are like family and the decor makes you feel right at home. There is always so much food and flavors to choose from. Even a chocolate fountain and cotton candy! I admire Golden Corral of Lexingtons creative and persistent involvement with Camp Corral. I know that all Veterans and Family of Veterans would appreciate it too.

I gave them 5 stars due to the fact that I showed up about 40 minutes before closing, in fact they were starting to break things down for the night. It was a Sunday. Everything was still available, and for the most part still fresh and delicious. The salad was cold, the hot food was plentiful...The service was above par, and very friendly!

Outdated restaurant with a much smaller selection than most other GC s. Went for breakfast and the pancakes tastes like they were made yesterday as did the steaks. Coffee had to be sent back it was so bad. Rest of the food was mediocre, sadly the highlight of the morning was the froot loops. Service was adequate.

Its Golden Corral so I cant, in good conscience, give it any more thank 3 stars. But as far as Golden Corral goes, this one was clean, we had good service and the breakfast was pretty decent. All in all on of the better Golden Corrals in the Piedmont, NC area.

Best golden corral I have ever been to but all of my past experiences were in the north. This is a place that makes you feel right at home and the employees are the best. Great food and plenty of desserts. I will favor this place to eat for a long while.

The food was dry and old got 4 plates maybe eat 1 plate full tolal. The waitress was sitting down with friends eating. Waitress came out and was telling me here problems, not professional at all. May not ever go back bc it was soooooooo bad...really bad

Came in for breakfast and you have spaghetti bbq on the bar for the morning food not to mention the pizza also waitress has spoken to ever table but has not offer to ask if we needed anything poor poor place never coming back

Good place if you want variety at a reasonable cost. The food is average, which I guess is to be expected, when you offer variety. But there was nothing that I would say was delicious. The 4 stars was for variety only.

Golden corral has always been my go to for a great salad. The last time I went, I was making a salad and a ROACH! ! ran across the salad bar and ducked behind the green peppers. I am SO done with them!!

My main problem is that no one checks the plates and utensils before they are brought out and placed on the cart for everyone to mess over. The food is fine just take your time and find a clean plate.

Food was not cooked well and it was cold also had to tell manger I Wanted deviled eggs before any were put out. Im very disappointed and will not be coming back here. Not worth the money it cost.

Got there at 6 for supper and most of the food was cold. The ice cream was disgusting. Not many people there...probably for the same reason we wont be going back!
