My family loves Chinese food, so we thought we would give Tin Tin a try. I had read the reviews saying that the food was average at best, but I also saw several reviews saying the food was really good. I figured the only way to know was to try it out for myself. In my familys opinion, the food is not average. It is below average. You will find better "Americanized" Chinese food at the Food Court at the Mall. If you love jello, my kids did say that the jello was good, but other than than, I cant recommend any of the other items. When you walk in, the first impression of the decor is very nice, until you see the front desk. It is a nicely build wooden desk with the words "Please wait to be seated" on it using those reflective mailbox sticky letters. It looked like my toddler put them on because each letter was crooked and oddly spaced. They had boxes of to-go sauce packets just sitting out on a table. There were piles of napkin packages and other supplies just sitting out in the open. The decor looked like P.F.Changs and a really bad Strip Mall Chinese take-out had a baby. It was kind of silly to be honest. There are too many other good places to eat in the vicinity to waste your money at Tin Tin.

Im ONLY giving it two stars, because the food was..okay. Service wise. HORRIBLE. They were also all over the place. Our host was a much older lady with short hair and she used to work at Hanes Mall at Mandarin Express and she was extremely rude there and is still rude here. Food is just like any other buffet food. Not enough seafood. There was no crablegs and the only thing that was good there was the sushi. I have yet to try the one in Charlotte, but now I really want to. There was a line for dishes and they were giving dishes out 1 by 1. The waitresses were just "chilling" around and didnt care. I wouldnt go again unless theyre okay with horrible service and "okay" food. There was a line so long that there was people waiting outside. They had a long line, because everyone thought that this would be similar to the one in Charlotte. Other than that, its nothing special. ALSO! I just recently found out that these are the owners at Hong Kong Buffet. I SUGGEST EVERYONE LOOKING AT THE SANITATION REVIEWS FOR HONG KONG BUFFET....Im sure youll change your mind eating there after you read that.

Standard Chinese buffet fair offset by good variety and excellent fresh sushi and hibachi bars. Exceptionally clean, friendly staff, and the chefs know how to make pork dumplings r i g h t. Expect everything from green beans and pizza to scallion chicken and grilled squid. Sushi chefs continually restock the raw bar with fresh offerings as you eat. However, as with any buffet restaurant, aim for peak hours or your mileage may vary. On a more personal note, I took my mother to this restaurant for Mothers Day and much to her disappointment they were not serving banana pudding that day. One word to our waitress and my mother was presented with a fresh batch of the best banana pudding Ive tasted in years. This, ladies and gentlemen, is how you go the extra mile and earn a positive Google Review for your restaurant.

If i could rate this a negative star i DEFINITELY WOULD.They didnt greet us at the door. The lady tried to sit us at the table where they had all their DIRTY dishes at ! I asked for a booth she act like she had an attitude. The food was absolutely horrible. Alot of it wasnt hot at all. They wouldnt bring out any fresh chicken so it stayed with the same 4 pieces. There were no crablegs and it took atleast 20 mins to bring some out and they werent even fresh. The sushi.... words cant even explain. Its been out forever ! The avocado was Black in the sushi ! The meat looked fake... we had LITERALLY 2 PLATES and the lady brung our check and told us to have a good day like we were done eating. But f it food was crap anyway... and of course walking to the car..... here comes the throw up....

This is one of the cleanest buffets I have seen in a long time. Whats up with the whole mediocre food compliant? The food is delicious, what buffet has fresh ingredients cooked the way you want it by a Japanese hibachi chef? None of them in the area. The sushi is amazing all you can eat at that! Its not like any other buffet because with a lot of them there is fried food everywhere you look, here there is actual broiled fish which is nice. The price is 11.99 on weekends and 10.99 on weekdays at first that was a little pricey, but for everything they offer you cant beat it if you love both Chinese and Japanese cuisine.

The gracious seating is comfortable and clean. The buffet looked amazing in its clean and bright display. There were many choices to choose from and a hibachi made to order grill. The sushi has a vast assortment available, however, I did not partake of it. The desserts were lacking or maybe the distance of the fresh fruit made it look a little wanting. Overall it is a good place with many fresh items that are replenished regularly. Lunch is a better deal with a little less pricey.

do yourself a favor DODGE THIS PLACE. first of all the food is awful even the sushi that was wrapped in that pasty sticky rice, the pepper steak was like rubber you couldnt cut with a knife and they charge you extra if you get the crab legs but they dont tell you its extra until youre about to pay the check and leave, there is no signs on the bar by the crab legs telling you its extra either. mine and my cousins meal came to $50 and the food wasnt even worth eating. ROBBERY.

This is the best asian buffet in Winston-Salem. The sushi bar here is always high quality and plentiful. Depending on what time you come the food quality can vary. If you come when it first opens or during peak hours the food will usually be fresh and delicious. Otherwise you run the risk of certain food being dry or stale (just like any buffet). Great service and decent prices (Around $10-11 for lunch and $12 or so for dinner) will get you the best asian buffet in town.

WORST OF THE WORST !! Wont ever be going back. all of the food was cold and inedible. .. Owner asked if this was my first visit and i told her yes and my last .. asked what the problems were and i told her cold food and she didnt really seem to care just give me your $11.99. I will give this place 3 months tops to close. Was there around 6:00 p.m. and only a few people were in the restaurant .. i believe the word must be out that this is a looser of a restaurant.

My wife, being Asian and her Asian friend went here for gals day out. They both said the food was mediocre at best and nothing special. The bad part is when she got home she checked her receipt to her bank statement and they charged her more than her receipt reflected! My wife took the recept and bank statement back to the lady who rang her up and the lady was mean and refused to correct it, saying she should have even charged her more! This place is running a scam!
