My wife and i have been to this particular location many times and always had a good experience , however on 3/7/14 it was awful . In all fairness, let me start by saying ,they opened on a night where nobody else had any electricity , major power outage in Greensboro. They had a generator and enough guts to take a chance on if they would benefit from this decision. It was soon obvious that the only 1 excited about this decision was the manager , everyone else had an attitude . Given the conditions , the kitchen staff did a wonderful job , but the assist. mgr. and the bar staff .... thumbs down . After sitting down at the bar , i made a small request to the bartender , to which i was told they would be happy to get a mgr. to take care of it . 20 minutes went by so i asked the assist. mgr. (Kitta) .... she said she would try to take care of it when she got a chance . 45 minutes went by she never got a chance , however she had time periodically to stand around and chat . After asking again, she got an attitude . Finally after waiting about 20 minutes for our check we asked again for it and were told that the computers were down and they couldnt give us one . So the mgr came over and explained their computer problem to us , to which i replied " while im sure youre not in the habit of giving away free food and drinks , there are only 2 options here , either i leave with out paying or you let me know how much i owe . He then tells me he will have the bartender hand write me a check but they can only take cash . With the exception of the food the entire night was a mess , from the staff walking around constantly complaining to each other to pants sagging below their butts and being ignored ,we should have made other plans .

The only reason why I am not giving this place one star is because of the nice server, whose hospitality was greatly appreciated. The place was pretty empty for a Sunday afternoon, and since it was no waiting time for a table, I thought hey why not? This in turn should have been my first red flag. The buffalo chicken dip ordered literally was a glob of processed nacho cheese and was cold. I mean what was that exactly? Then they actually served my mother and I burnt smoked wings. I could not believe it, I even took pictures. No sauce, just burnt wings on my plate, and they tried to cover up the burnt wings on my mothers plate with sauce. As if someone does not know the taste of something completely burned and dried out. I have been going to this restaurant since it first opened in Greensboro. Although it is not good as it used to be. I never would have thought it would sink this low. Serving burnt food to customers. To top it off the manager never even apologized, I guess she thought she was doing us a favor bringing a second batch of wings that were not as burnt, and dried out as the first batch. The small rack of ribs that was ordered was the best item on the plate. However there are other restaurants that serve BBQ and similar comfort dishes, in Greensboro, and I will not spend another penny for any place that think it is acceptable to serve burnt food to customers, and be paid for it, good luck with your business. I will not be coming back.

It is my husbands favorite restaurant as he loves barbeque. However, we went there for lunch and I was a little grossed out. The hostess gave us menus with barbeque sauce smeared all over the front side. I didnt even want to touch it. You always here how menus are a dirty part of a restaurant. I waited a while for our server. They seemed understaffed. So I got up, put the menu back under the hostess stand & reached in the pile of menus to find a clean one. The bad part was, the first 20 or so were dirty! I couldnt believe it! I pulled a clean one out from the upper middle part of the stack & went back to the table to sit down. I didnt say anything to my husband because it was his birthday. We ordered. When we were brought our appetizer plates, 2 out of 5 of them were dirty with this black stuff on them. I tried to wipe it off with a wipe they give you in the individual packets. Some of it came off & some did not. Again I was grossed out. I just decided not to have any of the appetizer. We told the waitress it was his birthday & nothing was done. Maybe its not their thing there to sing or offer a dessert, which is what we have been accustomed to over the years at different places, but not saying they have to. The food was fine, but I do have concerns about sanitation at this restaurant.

Went on Monday July 3rd at around 2PM. My biggest problem is that the chicken was so undercooked that it was pink. When I spoke to the server and pointed to the pink, I was told "Thats the way we do it". I only wanted for it to be put on the grill a little longer. They refused to put it on the grill. However they offered to get me something else. I wanted to eat wings so refused their offer. Service was poor. I got the wrong type of wings. I waited for a few minutes for my server to come but she did not. I pointed to here a couple of times but she still didnt stop by me. After waiting for about 5 minutes I decided to eat what I have. Thats when I saw the pink. After I saw the pink I waited for 5 more minutes before asking a different server to come. Thats when the above interaction happened. I asked for the wings to be boneless, however they did not tell me that they dont serve boneless wings and served me wings with bones anyway. However credit goes to them for offering to get me something else even though they refused to put my wings back on the grill. Also credit goes to them for allowing me to leave after I refused to pay for that.

45 minute wait on Fathers Day for dinner. Normally I wouldnt say this is too bad, but we went in and there was open tables all over the place, probably 1 open table for each occupied table, and it stayed that way the whole time we were there (about 2 hours during the dinner rush). One of the other patrons asked the hostess why there was so many open tables but there was a 45 minute wait and she said "The manager told me not to sit anyone there." It seemed as if they were just very understaffed for a holiday, especially when they advertised the crap out of said holiday on every sign in the restaurant, saying their restaurant was great for "Fathers Day, Mothers Day, Graduation." If youre going to advertise that your restaurant is good for these holidays, you should probably be appropriately staffed for those holidays to handle the business youre going to get. 3 stars because the food is still really good. I had the smoked wings on the make-your-own-combo, and Im not sure Ill ever eat a wing more delicious than that.
