This place has entirely too many rules. We came in with a group of 9 people. After waiting at the front door about 8-10 minutes, we were seated After drink orders were taken, we were asked to move across the restaurant to another table because the server was informed the table was reserved. We moved then we were given another server and had to repeat our orders to him. When we ordered appetizers we were told we could not double the wings--why not? Then after finishing our strawberry teas we were told we could not have refills on them or we would have to be charged for new drinks. He did say he could refill our glasses with regular tea, however. We were celebrating our sons return from the military and he asked about a military discount. They did give a discount, but the server was quick to point out it would only be on his food and no one elses. We felt he was a little rude about it. Not a great dining experience and will not be returning!

Trying to order a pick-meal and being placed on hold for 15 min was enough for me to call from a different phone and ask what the problem was. When I spoke with the manager, he was apologizing to very much and said that our meal was on the house. When I arrived to meet him and get a meal, I waited an extra 10 min after the 20 min he said it would take. I finally was able to meet the Manager (Jeb) and he brought out my food. I was happy that he did apologize for the problem and thanked me. I took the meals and went back to my hotel room. I was hopping that my wife and I could have a meal. WRONG!! She opened the boxes and just from the touch of the fries all was cold and old. I had ordered a small steak, and it was raw and not eatable. I would not recommend this place to ANYBODY!!

I dont even know where to start. My family and I had the worst experience at this TGI Fridays. First off the bathroom was a complete mess with paper towels and water everywhere and not having any soap to wash our hands. We ordered our food and waited an extreme amount of time before getting our food. Finally after waiting a good 30 minutes for just our appetizers our food was terrible. It was cold and discusting and none of us even finished our food. Needing a refill, I had to personally get up and go to the drink fountain to get myself a refill because our waitress was too busy talking to other co workers about who could "twerk" the best. I wouldnt have had a problem if the girls doing so werent 300+. If you are reading this to decide if you want to eat here or not, dont.

Ive been going to TGIF for years and mostly this particular location. I generally sit at the bar either by myself or with a guest. The staff are always pleasant, smiling, and attentive to my needs. I mostly go here because it is in a decent proximity to my home, offers an large menu of choices (some are 550 calorie items), large parking lot, usually not too busy to not find a bar seat, love the staff, and just about everything in between. There are many other similar dining options in the Valley View area, but I generally go here for the reasons Ive mentioned. Negatives? I dont really care that they hold open the door for me, but they usually do. The menu is a bit pricey comparatively.

Horrible! We ordered our appetizer and then our main dish; the appetizer was served quickly. After about 25 mins, another waiter came up to our table and asked if we had placed an order for our main meal, we told him "yes". He came back a few mins later and explained there was nothing in the system that showed what we had ordered. So, we ordered again.. The first guy had obviously carelessly threw away or misplaced the pad he wrote our order down on.. Then, after my husband got down close to the bottom of his 2nd mug of beer, we noticed something floating in the bottom.. what looked like small fruit flies!!! NEVER eating here again.

Went to try the new apps. Got there about 345pm. Waited at least 10 min for the server to take our drink orders. We shouldve left then. There was only about 6 tables of people in the whole restaurant. Lets just say it all went downhill from there. Got our food order wrong twice. Was told to just eat the food because they couldnt take it back. Then brought out too much food. A lot of wasted food. What ashame. Took 1.5 hours for 4 apps. And they werent busy at all. And the food was just so-so. Some was overcooked. Very disappointed. Was looking forward to eating there and now dont have any desire to go back.

We went to lunch here today after 1PM and the restaurant was not busy at all. It took forever for our food to be served, and when it did arrive, it was just lukewarm and the fries were cold. The server also did not take the order correctly, but we did not bother with trying to correct it as the grandchildren were so hungry by this time and it would further delay our meal. The server also charged the children for their beverages which should have been free with their meal orders off of the kids menu, but I did not catch this until after we got home. Really disappointed with this meal.

The waitress did her best, but they had her working the bar (because they were short staffed) and our table. They charged us full price for happy hour items, and when brought to the attention of the manager (shorter bald guy with glasses) he literally rolled his eyes at us...on top of all this we were there for over an hour before we got our food...the food was really good, but the terrible management makes this place deserve less than the one star I can give...I wont be back to this TGIFridays...

Mass confusion as soon as we walked in between the manager and hostess. We waited a while before our server came over to our table. The loaded potato skins were a joke. Maybe 6 pieces of bacon, almost all of those were not done. We ordered bacon cheeseburger. One burger kept sliding ofdoors the bun so I just took it apart and tried to cut it. Dry and obviously not fresh. One burger was supposed to be medium but it was well done. First time we had been here for 15 years. Wont be going back

Our experience in the Roanoke location was absolutely Sad! The food and most of the staff were very poor. Our waitress was good and she tried to get the manager to visit our table but we never saw one. I wrote to TGI Fridays and received an email stating they would contact me. Guess what!? Never a call. That just shows how much they care. It was our first visit and for sure our last.

Want slow service and a good chance for your order to be wrong? Then this is the place for you. Make sure to allocate AT LEAST an hour for a "quick bite" to eat here. Oh and if you want to get a to-go order, prepare to be snubbed by the bartender (which is where pick up is). Save yourself the frustration and time; there are so many more and better options in this area.
