Fun atmosphere and a huge variety of mostly rum-based Tiki drinks. "Island-inspired" food was not so great during our visit and service was friendly but uneven. Our server explained that there had been a big event earlier in the evening and so they were out of some of their menu items, yet we were initially billed for an item that they were unable to serve to us (the bill was immediately corrected when we pointed out the error). In addition, our nachos were initially served to us without the addition of steak that we had ordered, but that was quickly addressed with a serving of steak brought out a few minutes later which we added to the plate. The food we ordered featured highly spiced meats, which were tasty, but the dishes did not have much other flavor besides the meat and left one-note impressions. This would be be a enjoyable place to hang out and have a few drinks with friends, but I wouldnt make it a dining destination.

This is the chosen bar for the "no-kids girls night" for my crew. Its best when the weather is cold and snowy out; we get one of the big booths in the back, order some sliders, 2 vegetarian and 2 pork, get a Josies Far Away Vacation, a Tokyo Drift and catch up on whats going on beyond FB. The wait staff here are friendly and accommodating, however, the food and drinks service is a little slow. I would not recommend if you are budget conscious or in a hurry. The food portions are smaller, dont plan on being FULL when you leave. Perfectly adequate for a light meal though and munchies while drinking. Enjoy a non-traditional drink here!

Drinks are the main attraction here plus they were were great and the vibe of the place was fitting for what they advertise, a Hidden Harbor. Nothing beats a secret Oasis of beach drinks tucked into a Pittsburgh neighborhood of Squirrel Hill. Only two things that were disappointing were that their service was slow( but friendly), and the food seemed to be crutching on the drinks as the main drag. Although overall worth the visit for the drinks and to slip away into that island mood.

Atmosphere is superb, location is spectacular, drinks were amazing, people there are nice... BUT the tacos werent as I expected. Got the happy hour chicken and pork tacos. The chicken had chard/burnt/hard/crunchy/black pieces in it, and the pork was not flavored as I had anticipated. I expected more from the tacos, but they werent bad at all - just not as expected. I think they were missing a sweeter element to them seeing as the place is island themed (especially the pork).

This place is a getaway to the islands. The decor of this place really makes you think youve traveled away from Pittsburgh and landed on a distant island. The Polynesian/carribean menu is tapas style with a huge selection of rum (as well as beer and wine). I would definitely come here for happy hour when their food and drink selections are reasonably priced.

Wow...all I can say is this bar is one of the highest quality spots that Ive been to in Pittsburgh. The staff is so friendly and the drinks are authentic and delicious! I love Tiki Time Machine Tuesdays! If you come back and finish their list you get a prize! PGH has needed a spot like this for a long time. Bring a date or friends, heck go alone.

The hipster Tiki Bar theme, and I hate to call it a theme, works with perfectly blended mix of light hearted fun and expertly crafted cocktails. The atmosphere takes Tiki Bar to a whole new level. Awesome chicken tacos and avocado nachos. The Singapore Sling was great and so was the Kokomo. Check this place out!

Mediocre drinks at premium prices, and very rude and weird service. The bartenders were drinking, one was making fun of somebody who was definitely within earshot, and one tried to open a pornographic website on my phone as a "joke".

I love this place so much. I like tiki bars in general, but the drink quality at Hidden Harbor is outstanding. The food is also great and the atmosphere is fantastic. I drive 3 hours to get here and I come as often as possible.

Awesome super strong tiki drinks. Really recommend if you dont mind spending between 8-13 for a drink. The more expensive ones are around 2-3 standard shots of rum and everything tastes really fresh.

Drinks are great and the inside has a really cool tiki/beach vibe. Food menu is a bit limited. However, we both had pokes, and they were delicious. Tacos we saw others eating looked really good.

Step inside and you will be transported to a tropical paradise. The rum based drinks are very pleasing to your sense of sight, taste and smell. Nice place to hang out.
